Charles Wallace didn’t complete the wall he was paid to build, nor did he install a valve box he was paid to install. He did quote several Bible verses. He is the type of person who will tell you its raining and piss on your leg. Everyday the same thing, «I’ll be there tomorrow», «My truck is broken», «The company I buy the stone from is out of the stone», «The heat is getting to me because of how old I am», «I can’t get anyone to work today.» Biggest liar I have ever met. I had to give him 1 star to get my review on Unilocal. He isn’t worth 1 star.

My father hired Mr. Wallace to build a retaining wall in Rockwall December 2014… Mr. Wallace was given $ 6,000 up front most of which soon vanished. Between December 2014 and July 2015 Mr. Wallace brought out just enough stone to complete the wall almost two rows high. My parents house sat on and unprotected hill for 10 months and luckily for them it did not collapse. After 100’s of broken promises to finish the wall we soon realized in our opinion if the sun was up Mr. Wallace is lying and we gave up trying. Today October 122015 the retaining wall is being finished at the additional expense of my parents by another company, Mr Wallace has no insurance or assets so I suspect my parents money is gone forever… Please please please do not give this guy any money, unless you are a fan of magic because it will indeed disappear

Mr. Wallace came by my home and gave me an estimate on tree trimming. Unfortunately, on the day of my appointment he failed to show up. He gave me some cockamamie excuse about the rain putting him behind. He even admitted that he forgot about my appointment. I have a feeling he had no idea who I was.

The contractor has bailed on us… leaving our yard a mess, no caps on the fencing poles, jobs promised incomplete, and we are just now realizing that fence boards on the last 1⁄3 of the fence installed only have ONE nail holding them up. As well, after speaking with the city, we are now responsible to obtain an engineer to evaluate our retaining wall and determine if the height built is safe, at which time they will issue a permit and remove us from the«violation» list. Devastated in Dallas… :(
