I too took a high end (Lexicon MC12B) piece of equipment to AJ’s for diagnosis and repair. The repaired the component and had it in pristine working condition for far less money than I expected I would have to pay. Their turnaround time was reasonable as well. I will continue to take my equipment to them for maintenance and/​or repair. In fact as soon as I can remember it, I will call them to see if they can tackle an old Ampex F 4452 tube type R2R.

Horrible service. There is no updates or times specified when the service will be completed. the only response is «We dont know!!!»
if you don’t know then who does. Seems very incompetent, irresponsible and unprofessional environment.
The guy at the front «Omar» is not at all friendly, he is a little rude in his tone.
Stay away and save your time.

I recently brought in my Onkyo stereo for work… they did a great job diagnosing the problem and found out it was covered under warranty. Good communication. Seem like straight guys. They came recommended from the guys who put in our surround sound system so felt it was a reliable referral… turned out it was.
