This is my favorite boba tea place in Rowland heights, yes the seating sucks, parking sucks, and people are pretty rude but the boba is good and its cheap. Food is average at best. Get the Green Tea with watermelon if you can its great. I get Osmanthus Olong Tea, ¼ sugar, no boba, its always consistently good and typically i sit outside as its always hot in rowland heights area. Mixed fruit tea, no sugar, no boba is good too both hot and cold. Parking park by the bank at night if possible, not near banana bay. Food, its okay, drinks are bomb, go get a drink walk over to lee’s sandwich or Phoenix or one of there other places for food. –1 star for Aweful parking, this place has the worst parking in the Hacienda heights/Rowland area by far, high drive way, small spot, asian parking on the edges, park far and walk.

This place has the best drinks around! I usually don’t enjoy Thai tea that much, but this place has delicious Thai tea. Their green milk tea and also peach green tea are always on point. Not to mention their boba is always good and I never had bad boba here. Food, on the other hand, it’s just aitee

You can say I’m bias towards any tea houses other than half&half but its hard to compare when its so good. But I actually really like the TEABAR not because the drinks are off the charts but because of its service. The guy that was helping me was very patients because I wasn’t sure what to order. I know their most popular drink was with their fresh orange juice but I’m not a big fan of any orange juice. I ended up with a mango ice green tea with aloe. I asked if there was going to be any real mango inside but he said no. But I guess he say my disappointing look and said we can do that for you. Over the moon happy. I love that he was willing to do. The drink was pretty good. Very refreshing and especially those amazing mango pieces. YUM! I also tried my cousin’s drink, their famous orange passion fruit green tea. That was pretty good too but I think mine was way BETTER. thanks to the amazing staff at TEABAR that day.

BEST watermelon green tea I’ve had! The only place that can do it right imo. I usually have it half sugar and it is most refreshing :) Great place for tea + snacks. CASHONLY

Found this tea bar after eating at the Indonesian place. They don’t seem to know what supplies they have. They keep changing my order. I ordered ginger peanut tofu and it didn’t satisfied me. I will not go back.

This little gem is tucked inside Yes Plaza right next to Honey Mee. I remember my first time at Tea Bar, I didn’t find it anything special. But after a friend’s recommendation, I decided to give it another try and I’m glad I did! This place is pretty unique since they blend fresh fruits into your tea. I got the Rose Grapefruit green tea which I was hesitant in the first place because it sounded a bit weird BUT the flavors blended really well. There were a few rose petals at the bottom of my drink and they tasted sweet! My bf got the Watermelon green tea. I thought this was good as well but I preferred the Rose Grapefruit. This place is CASHONLY so don’t forget to check your wallet before you come here!

I’ve been coming here for the past 4 – 5 years and the drinks are still just as good! On my most recent visit, I ordered the rose grapefruit green tea and my boyfriend got the hot boba milk tea. The rose grapefruit was amazing. I love grapefruit, and the rose twist added a nice layer of aromatics onto the fruitiness of the drink. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something light yet flavorful. The hot boba milk tea was pretty good too. Honestly just your standard hot milk tea, but the portion size was huge. Idk if we accidentally bought a large or what, but the cup was literally longer than my face lol. They also do student discounts so show your ID!

Parking in this plaza(especially on weekends) is like going shopping during the holidays. Its packed & people can’t drive. I’m usually in this plaza for Tastea or Banana Bay but my cousins brought me here to Tea Bar. They love the winter melon(i think…) drink. I tried the green tea w/whipped cream? Its pretty good. Reasonable prices. I didn’t try their boba although I did see that they offer a clear boba? interesting. Definitely coming back. I’ve been meaning to try Honeymee too. Sad to see the claw machine place gone, but that place always did me dirty anyways lol.

I was so into the top column popular specialty drink because some named«viagrass» It took me 5 mins to look through their menu and decided to order the popular grapefruit rose green tea. It seriously took them like 10 mins to make it… I was like?! But after I saw all the real grapefruit pulp floating and taking a sip, so refreshing!

What was I thinking when I gave this place a try? I guess it was based on nostalgic impulses of how this place used to be before it got revamped. Don’t get me wrong~ I absolutely adore the cute cramped apartment corner façade(just that corner) that gives YES plaza its unique take today; however, those snob fob kids who work behind the counter are another story. Arrived here a little past noon: I ordered Sausage Rice plate, and was told minutes later that they were out of the sausages(no apology, ok fine). I agreed to replace sausage with popcorn chicken instead. The disgruntled little girl calls out my changed order as though she was doing me the favor by giving me the longest stare ever afterward. Haha sure~ My Passion Fruit Iced Tea comes out first and it was practically 80% syrup with water. It was really hard to swallow, so I asked for it to be less sweet. Again, another attitude is shown from the girl’s long gaze toward me.(This job must be real difficult) Popcorn chicken could be way better for what it’s priced, especially for where it’s located as well. This place is just absolutely the worst in food and service.

My last few visits here have resulted in great disappointment in their Watermelon Green Tea. Before, I believe it was made with frozen watermelon which made for a cold, frothy drink but now it’s pretty much watermelon juice. The icy frothiness is what made this drink, why did they change it?! I’ve been going to Tea Bar Metro in Artesia to get my Watermelon Green Tea and probably won’t be coming here, at least not for that drink.

Came in for a drink and a snack, didnt realize what was about to happen, basically my life changed, I ordered a watermelon green tea w/crystal boba and popcorn chicken, before I could find a place to sit down, my order was ready, mind you this is a small place and the line was nearly out the door. I had never tried crystal boba and let me tell you, if you dig boba you gotta try this, its amazing, its a tad bit sweeter then usual boba and the watermelon geeen tea was so fresh I could taste the rind! The popcorn chicken on the other hand was flat out amazing, perfectly seasoned and crisped to perfection, I could only image what the rest of the menu is like, I got full from just a simple snack and a curious choice for boba, I will return very soon, I need more crystal boba in my life. This place should get 6 stars!

Rice balls rice balls rice balls! Literally the only reason I go here. I LOVE ordering their taro milk tea with pudding and RICEBALLS! Don’t forget to order«light on the ice» or you’ll definitely get scammed with the drink portion. It is annoying how it takes at least 10 – 15 minutes for them to make the rice balls but I really think it’s worth it because it tastes so good with the drink… way better than any type of boba. They messed up one or two of my orders a couple of times when I was with a big party, but for the most part the service is pretty good. It can get a bit pricey for just one drink depending on what you want to add. But I’d come here every once in a while when I’m in the mood.

One of my favorite tea places in the area! What I love is that they actually use REALFRUITS for their teas & slushies/smoothies unlike many other boba places. I’ve worked at a boba store for awhile and majority of the ingredients are artificial flavoring(powders & syrups, YUCK!) This place is a bit pricey but totally worth it! My Top Choices: –Watermelon Greentea: use real watermelon to make their tea! Very refresing during the summer –Orange greentea: squeeze real oranges mixed with their green tea. Has their pulps in there sometimes and so refreshing! –Black sesame milk tea: I usually love drinking this during the winter. I ask for it hot with boba. so yummy –Taro milk tea: I was addicted to taro milk tea at one point and I loved that tea bar would use real taro into their milk tea. It’s not as great as I remember the last time I tried it but i still enjoy it I usually get the taro milk tea with rice balls! You can put different stuff inside your drink Aloe vera Jelly Boba Mini Boba Crystal Boba Rice balls Everything in general is good here!(drink wise) Food wise, not too sure about that!

had a text deal for a BOGO. my girlfriend wanted the blue lagoon which was like friggin $ 5.50. and my drink was only 4 something and so they let me upgrade mine to a large and a boba for no extra cost. theoretically this works because my drink still costs less than hers but some places would throw a fit probably. anyways. the blue lagoon was so good and worth it… probably only every once in a while. I didn’t like the icey texture too much, my sensitive teeth hate me after drinking it… however, all the fresh fruits in it work so well together… and the blended boba makes it like a white gummy drink at jamba… like the same texture… it’s so good… always recommend the wintermelon milk tea. you can thank me later.

I come here kind of often and came again with my friend. I ordered a passionfruit green tea with crystal boba. Their crystal boba is basically clear boba which is pretty unique. I tend to switch up my order here because I haven’t exactly found my perfect drink from here yet. I have tried the watermelon green tea as well and it’s good. My only complaint with that is that the drink separates the juice and the foam so when you get towards the bottom, all you get is watermelon foam. The passionfruit green tea is pretty good, better than a lot of other places. Their food is also very good. The fish cakes and popcorn chicken are very tasty. The fish cakes are kind of like a mochi texture and is topped with a really good seasoning. Tea Bar’s popcorn chicken is the best, it’s really crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside. It’s better than any other place where I’ve tried popcorn chicken. The atmosphere is very alright. Near the cash register, there are a lot of jungle decorations with animals on the wall. However, this theme doesn’t carry onto the rest of the sitting area. That area is very plain but I enjoy sitting there. It’s good for just hanging out with friends and talking. The restroom is shared with a few other stores in the same area. It requires a key but Tea Bar’s got stolen so you have to ask one of the other stores. Overall, I do enjoy coming here and would definitely come back.

My favorite here is the orange green tea and their crystal boba! They used to only have it at a certain time, but now its all day! I do think the crystal boba is a bit more sweeter than the regular ones. I like how you can customize your drinks sweetness level… I don’t like when my tea taste like pure sugar… it defeats the whole purpose lol. However, I really don’t understand how sometimes I wait for like 15 mins for my damn drink –___– it’s really… moment when they dont even seem busy at all Also this place is pretty pricey in my opinion like a large drink with boba would be like almost $ 5 or more? popcorn chicken is not bad! IDK about the rest of their food. It was ridiculous when they had stamp cards that expire at a certain time literally you had to go within however long to finish getting your stamp card filled up and used… now they switched over to the electronic system. I am not sure if its still under a deadline per se. I do like that its the five star card, which u can hang it on your keys and have it all the time, so you wont loose those stupid stamp cards lol i used to always loose them: I

I’ve been a regular at tea bar for a good number of years now, and I’ve gone through a few go to drinks. My first go to drink was a lychee slush recommended by a friend way back in the day, this was my young high school days go to drink, no matter how cold the night, that’s what I would get along with some crystal boba? Bomb dot com. There would be lychee bits in the drink and it was great. I’m not sure when I changed to kiwi slush but one day I decided to mix it up a little and I tried the kiwi slush and never went back! I haven’t really had a lychee drink since then, unsure why, but my last memories of the drink were good. Unfortunately my kiwi era ended quite badly. My boyfriend fell in love with the kiwi slush as well until one day we ordered it and it tasted totally off. I was pretty sure the kiwi had gone bad, but they blended it into our drink anyways. Totally disappointed and scarred me from tea bar for a while. College years roll around, and I am back. I was introduced to watermelon green tea, a tea bar specialty or so I heard and I was hooked! It was refreshing, not overly sweet, perfect for warm California weather day or night! The most unfortunate thing about it is the excess watermelon pulp that occupies so much of the cup near the end of your drink. Tonight I tried the Orange green tea for the first time, and it was good! It tasted more like orange juice than green tea but overall it was good, refreshing and not disgustingly sweet like other places. I’d drink it again. Watermelon green tea? Easy sugar. Yes. Orange green tea? Easy sugar. Yes. Crystal boba? Craving boba? Choose the crystal. Kiwi products? Juice/green tea/slush? Yes. BUT if it doesn’t taste right, tell them. You shouldn’t have to waste your money on a rotten drink! Ooh and that popcorn chicken is pretty darn on point.

I never know what to order when I come to these bubble tea… I mean boba tea places. But I came with a Taiwanese friend and he told me what to order, along with scolding me for calling it bubble tea, lol. I got the honey milk tea with WHITE boba and it was bomb. The boba is extra chewier. We had a large group and was able to find seating inside. However they keep all the doors open and there were a bunch of cool Asians loitering around the doors, smoking, that all the cigarette air blew in. I got a major headache afterwards.

Perfect milk to tea ratio. Show your student ID card for discounts on boba milk tea or crystal boba milk tea! Tea bar is one of my go to places for boba since it’s quick and tasty. This location is not a good place to study because it’s relatively cramped even after the remodel. If you wanna study, try tea bar starry in Arcadia. Cash only so be prepared! They do have five stars for rewards, but the student milk teas don’t count for points.
