I ordered food to go and without exaggeration I walked out 24 minutes later. I get home only to discover that the fried rice was burnt, as if the wait wasn’t long enough. I tasted the shrimp fried rice in case it was the smell only but it had an overwhelmingly burnt flavor. It went in the trash, as did my money, and then I proceeded with this review. Needless to say I will not be returning.

First time trying this place. Egg roll is big portion. I only ate one and I got full. It’s tasty. But as far as phở … Broth is far beyond the expectation. It’s very light flavored. It reminds me of phở place in a city– Americanized No flavor soup — I’m a phở lover. It has to be good for me to come back. I’ll be back for egg roll. But not for phở . I’ll have to find another phở joint. Price is good though.

One of the best phở’s near the area, the service is by far the best around. The staff is always very nice and prompt with our orders. The Phở soup is very tasty, good meats, good broth and very quick! recommended

I have been coming here for my Viet food cravings whenever I visit my in-laws who lives in the area. Menu options are abundant, pricing is fair. Most importantly the food taste good and environment is clean.

There’s usually enough seating on weekdays and weekends. The broth of the Phở Tai is really good here. I’ve tried several locations around Rowland Heights and Golden Noodles is my favorite. They usually bring your meal pretty fast. The egg rolls are good also. I come here all the time now.

Ordered my food to go and it was very quickly made — so props! We ordered the #1, #25, and eggrolls(5). #1 — Their extra large house special phở — HUGE portion, it was definitely extra large, and there was a lot of meat! The soup was so hot that it melted part of the plastic that it came in… eh. That could be a good thing or a bad. #25 — Charbroiled pork, egg patty, and shrimp paste with rice. I was really hoping for broken rice, but it wasn’t! I still really enjoyed it, especially with the fish sauce poured all over it. The meat was very tender, and the egg patty was super good. The shrimp paste is similar to a fish cake, and they didn’t stand out to me. The eggrolls tasted like your regular eggroll, but we’re as oily, which is a plus. They were also huge! Overall, good, quick food with huge portions(the prices are good too). I live super close-by so it’s an easy place to get dinner when we don’t feel like cooking at home!

This place has the best broth. If you order the phở tai they sure don’t skimp on the raw beef. My latest usual is #19 all veggie with tofu in beed broth. I’m seriously addicted. The spring rolls with dipping sauce are Another one of my fave items here. Service is good and this place is clean. You can call in your order and they pack it all nice and tidy for pick up.

went there for the first time and ordered to go. The staff are nice and I didn’t have to wait long for food. I like how they get along with customers. I ordered a large beef phở and it was a lot of food and tasty. Ill be back for sure

I think this is my third time here and the experience was just about the same. I will give it one star solely for the food which was alright; however, the service each time was just terrible. It looks like the lady who owns/manages this place hates her life lol with this terrible and nonchalant attitude to her customers. I don’t even know how she’s gets any type of business with that frown of hers. Anyways, the service is understandable from an Asian perspective(bad), so you’re probably better off going to another place if you value the principles of customer service.

Had this place several times for Phở since it’s near my housevand it is ok. Sometimes I would just order the soup that’s about it. Today we ordered the CHARBROILED Pork and JUMBO Shrimp with Eggroll vermicelli for the dad. And man I feel bad just offering it to him. And the phở soup. And the funny thing is my bfs dad said«WOW. So much food ! « I’m thinking yes. A lot of noodles ! And veggies ! Wow. What is supposed to be charbroiled doesn’t look like it, and the JUMBO shrimp is like the tiniest shrimp I’ve ever seen . Either overcooked. Or idk but it ain’t jumbo for sure . Service: don’t expect any. Don’t expect a hello or a smile. . I’ve been here before already . Come here to satisfy your phở hunger and be gone. :) Waiiiit for ittt… Okay soup must have msg. Now I’m thirsty

Disappointed. High prices and sneaky waitresses! $ 1.00 for a cup of tea and our server didn’t even notify us of the extra fee. I’ve never been charged for hot tea at a Phở restaurant! It’s South Asian courtesy, tea is the equivalent to water for us, but I guess they didn’t get the memo. Ridiculous!!! $ 7 for a bowl of phở and $ 9 for vermicelli, portions were not very generous either. All the bowls smelled heavily of bleach can had to rinse it out with… You guessed it, the tea. You’re better off sticking to Phở places back in the valley. El Monte has chalk loads of places with great price and service!

I have been coming here for awhile. We do not sit down and eat, but rather order it for takeout. The food is good and the price is fair. I enjoy their spring rolls and phở, which has been spot on so far.

My favorite phở spot in Rowland! The food is consistently good and the broth is super hot when it comes out, which is good because some places give you lukewarm broth and it doesn’t cook the noodles! My favorites are the phở tai with the meat on the side(to dip into the hot broth to cook the meat to a medium rare) and the number 15 which I forgot the name of but It think it’s a phở bo kho? I will confirm the next time I am there. The service here is always friendly and fast. I would definitely recommend Golden Noodle.

Great phở @ great a price. Need I say more? I came here with a few of my friends as we were passing the area. The small shop itself is in a plaza across the street from Walgreens?(or. CVS? I forget things sometimes). At first, I did not expect too much here. Who would’ve thought, a small shop like this should deserve such a good rating. But as fine lover of Vietnamese cuisines(mainly phở) more often than not, I am a humble servant to great Vietnamese shops. I ordered their dry vermicelli with egg rolls and BBQ pork and hell, was it served in a generous portion. Though the noodles sort of lacked some distinction, it was the egg rolls definitely left its mark… Crispy outside, tender and delicious on the inside, kind of reminds you that moment when you taking a fat bite from some bucket of KFC… with noodles! Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and left as a happy customer, 5 stars! If you’re strolling by in the area to Diamond Bar and stuffs, be sure to stop by for some great hangover food. Their portions will fill you back up where you would want to puke all over again(in a good way). TL;DR: GETTHEDAMNEGGROLLS!

Came here for lunch. Not really the best place for Viet food, but it was convenient. Their orders were not super tasty, so it was just something to fill my tummy.

Perfect portion, lots of fresh meat, real broth not like chop shop’s instant broth, lots of bean sprout and basil, made me a completely satisfied Phở experience, have not found anything better in this neighborhood

The phở here is cheap and pretty decent. Not the best, but it will do on a nice cold rainy day. Their phở dac biet is a pretty nice big bowl of deliciousness. As much as I love green onions, I think they put a tad too much. All in all it’s good stuff. Their rice plates are also good. Service is pretty quick and generally good. But keep in mind that it’s Asian-type service… all business, no exchange of pleasantries. Parking can be tight since it is shared with several restaurants, a supermarket, other stores, and a bank.
