The wife and I came by here a few weeks ago for our usual Friday Date Night. I know Unilocal says it’s Bulgogi House and people writing the reviews says it’s Bulgogi House but the sign at that restaurant begs to differ. Not sure if the restaurant changed it’s name or they came under new ownership or if it’s an entirely different restaurant. Oh well, whatever… At least it serves Korean BBQ which was what we were craving. The place is clean and the smell of grilled meats will hit you hard as soon as you’re within sight of the restaurant. Because of the mixed up in the name, the wife and I considered going to another place until we caught a whiff of the meat cooking. Seating was painless and because of some promotion that they were running, they were offering up free soda even without a Unilocal check in. But being the true Unilocaler that I am, I checked in anyways. — to the Unilocal overlords, please take this into consideration in december when my Unilocal elite status is up for renewal — but anyways… Moving on. The menu you see in the photos posted seem a little outdated since I remember getting the $ 16.99AYCE and it included almost 30+ items that you can choose from. And to top it off, they had a second promotion that night, 10% off the entire menu. Score!!! We ended up trying Rib Eye Bulgogi Beef Brisket Octopus Shrimp Marinated Rib Eye LA Short Ribs Marinated Iron Steak Steamed Eggs Rice Paper Service was amazing too. Multiple wait staff came to check on us when we were running out of ban chans and meats. Our bill came out to be $ 32 with tax so I left them an even $ 40 and I chased down the bus boy who changed out our grill. He was such a hard worker and was dripping with sweat so I tipped him $ 5. Awesome place. One of the better AYCE places and don’t forget to tip your wait staff and bus persons

I’m not sure but maybe it is under a new management? I haven’t been here in years and I recently saw their banner for $ 10.99 ayce all day. They have 3 menu choices: $ 10.99, $ 13.99, and $ 16.99. For the $ 10.99 price and the choices for that, I think it is a very good deal! I mean, of course it will never compare to premium meat at other kbbq but no one should complain if they’re paying $ 10.99. Seriously. I went here twice within 3 days and they are consistent. Their services are a lot better. They are trying really hard. If you check in, you can get a free soda. I love the $ 10.99 price, the choices, and their services. Lets see if it changes, but so far so good. If you’re looking for premium meat, just don’t go to any ayce places if you’re that picky.

10.99FORAYCEKBBQEVERYDAY! For 10,99, I expected some average KBBQ. They sure proved me wrong. Must Get + Beef Brisket + Beef Belly + Bulgogi Okay + Bacon + Garlic Pork Belly My favorite was the beef brisket, hands down. Good quality beef worth the price!! The beef was great, but the service was exceptional. 20 items for $ 10.99! What a deal. Check in for a free soda!

AYCE! This place is really good when me and my brother are craving a good amount portion on beef tongue. Services are great; when it’s not pack. Update: Love this Korean bbq location in Rowland heights. I highly recommend my friends of this place and now it’s a hang out spot for decent Korean bbq. 3−19−16 Simply best location for you to go for kbbq, great selection choice of meats, good services, and many parking space to park. Best choice for Rowland height. Don’t forget to check in and leave a review for drinks. 4⁄4 No other places I go to but this place for kbbq craving. Came here at 5:00Pm on a Monday with many table open to eat. I had a warm welcome greeting at entrance and was seated quick. Appetizer dish came quick with our drinks order. Location provide great services and decent meats. But some lady really ticked me off. She’s short lady with a tom boy hair cut. Yes services great when they come ask us how we’re doing, but don’t just come to our table moved a chair next to me and try to take over how we cook our own food. Korean bbq was not invented yesterday. Please expect all customer to have some decent knowledge on how to cook meat. And don’t try to overdo and cook it for us. Services was always great. But today this lady annoyed me.

Best Korean BBQ in the area and extremely affordable. The brisket is our favorite. It’s so tender! And the sides are also delicious. And the staff is extremely friendly. The service is great and always available. Very family oriented environment!

Also known as Hankook Galbi, Bulgogi House is the best AYCEKBBQ deal for the quality you get. It’s only $ 10.99 all day! Bulgogi House has been around for a long time, before Gen Korean BBQ and Kang Hodong came around and back when food prices were even lower. The servers are traditional Korean ladies, but they’re super friendly here. They’re quick to refill anything you need and the meat quality is really good. I’ve also been here for dinner twice and thought it was great both times. The parking lot is excruciatingly small, so unless you want to try your luck during regular meal hours, just park in the nearby community and take a quick walk over.

Okay before I start my review, I have been at many kbbq at Koreatown. Costumer Service: this is the reason for the 5 star. If you have ever been at the kbbq at koreatown(Bulgogi Hut, Castle & Sanya), you’ll know the costumer service sucks a**. We had the fortunate luck to get KYLE and CALVIN as waiters. I honestly think that Kyle should get promoted somehow because he has got to be the most attentive waiter we have ever gotten, the house was full too! He always walked around and asked if we wanted more. Same goes for Calvin, he wasnt our main waiter but when we need something, he was on top of it. He also walked around a lot! There was another waiter for the other tables DANIEL, he was just running around, super attentive too! Food: hands down the best meat I have tasted. Better than bulgogi hut and sanya at koreatown. My boyfriend also approves, he’s a better judge than me. Also, the food came out pretty quick! Price: $ 18.99 for the food and customer service, it is worth it! We tipped 20% Going here if we crave for kbbq from now on

We’re back here again. Bulgogi house has become a regular eat out. This is one of our favorite spots to get kbbq after a long day. The servers don’t keep us waiting. The portions servings are just right where we can enjoy our food and not be afraid to try different types of meat.

This place is great! I love coming here after school with my friends. We always get a ride to this place after short days. The menus great and the service is amazing. The meat is a lot better than some other places in Rowland so if you’re looking for quality and a great place, this is it. If your friends are looking for a good lunch place in Rowland, this is the place to go!

We’ve bounced around to different Gen, Moodaepo, and other korean ACE BBQs. We always end up back here! Great service with a smile, thin cut, quality, soft meat, unlimited rice paper and the best steam eggs. We are done with trying out other places. No other restaurant comes close. If you want consistent quality and service it’s here!

My favorite ACEKBBQ They have great customer service My fiancé and I usually order the finger ribs, beef tongue, marinated pork belly and the beef brisket. All for $ 17.99. Their seafood is my favorite, unlike the other places, it has mussels, baby shrimp and squid so it’s super flavorful. Must try place

$ 18 bucks for AYCE dinner. The meat is decent and the marinated meat is flavorful. Some of my fave meats are the brisket, pork belly, marinated pork bulgogi. I’m not too much of a fan of the sides like chili bean sprouts but I did like the potato salad. The servers were friendly and attentive to change out our grill. The only thing that sucks when u eat Korean BBQ is that you smell like it for the rest of the day from the smoke.

Came here for dinner and only had to wait about 20 minutes. The meat was really good(That prime brisket, mmm) I liked how they serve the portions in a smaller plate, which allows you to try other options without having to stuff yourself before being able to order again. Reason for the –2 stars The service was quite bad. We had finished the salad bowl along with other side dishes and the waiter walks by, looks at the empty bowl/plates and continues walking. Next I asked for a refill on water and the guy acknowledges me, but walks off and doesn’t return until having to ask again. Other than the service, I’d give this place another try

This place makes me so sad. I used to love coming here, it was always between here and chamsootgul but damn after all the new kbbqs opening up and the new competition it’s expected for the original stores to go either way: show them who’s top dog or straight down the toilet and unfortunately bulgogi house went down the sad way :( I feel bad writing this because it’s not the servers fault, but I mean it was a horrible experience nonetheless. Our server was a middle aged lady like most traditional kBBQ places not like the hip places now and it was 70% full house and she was working by herself with one bus boy. Like really? What did you expect was gonna happen? It took us forever to get our first order in and basically almost every order in till the end when finally some more workers showed up, our banchan was rarely refilled which was disappointing to my mom because she mainly goes to Korean restaurants for the banchan and it was just really difficult to wave down anyone to help us period. As for the meat, the moment the first round came out we were like what the heck. the portions are super tiny! Normally I would like that if I were out eating with girlfriends or just my boyfriend but my brother was here and my boyfriend and guys eat a lot! It looked like ¼ of what most places give on the first round. The quality of the meat was mediocre too, not great but not terrible. The garlic pork belly had no flavor whatsoever though. tasted just like regular pork belly. We ended up just giving up on waving down servers near the end. The good thing was we weren’t dying of food coma like we normally would be after kbbq and how you expect to feel after it. The bad thing is. what kind of kbbq doesn’t leave you feeling like that? It just ain’t right.

Unilocal challenge 2015192⁄365 Who doesnt like AYCE Korean BBQ. The whole point is, to eat it all. Brisket, Iron steak, bacon, bogolgi, pork belly, pork chops. Lots of choices here. Bring it all and bring it now. A little disappointed in the portion sizes though. The brisket and bogolgi servings are so miniature even the Ompa Lompas beg for more. I am used to our home AYCE bringing out ginormous platters. But hey, just order more and more and more till you un button your pants. I may not look like it, but I do eat a lot and I do out eat the hubsters at KBBQ. Now this place will set you back $ 25 a head plus tip for the premium choice. Free soda with Unilocal check in. Tables are big enough for 4 – 6 people. Service is okay. We had to ask a few times for a few items like steamed egg, onions, bean paste, ect. Grills are changed frequently. They also have this trick where they check on you and Baam like magic their hand slides under the grill and they turn it down. The seasame oil and salt and pepper are table side. Ready and waiting to be mixed to dip your meat in. This place is pretty good. #677

Really nice and friendly service! All of the meat I got were delicious. They give it to you in small quantities which was awesome because I wanted to sample the different types of meat. They also refill the sides and are very generous with the rice paper! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would have to ask for things more than once and sometimes I would have double orders and other times I wouldn’t get the item altogether. For the most part they’re pretty good with the ordered meats but I really wanted the egg and veggies and didn’t get it even after asking twice :( The meats I tried were: Beef tongue Finger ribs Brisket Prime beef brisket(don’t get unless you like a lot of fat) Chicken Iron steak Beef Bulgogi I came for dinner($ 19) around 7pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t a long wait at all.

3 ½ stars. I came here with my step-dad tonight and we were underwhelmed. My family loves Korean BBQ and we are no strangers to meat so I guess we are pretty tough judges. I’ve also had way better in Koreatown. The wait was 30 minutes which wasn’t too bad. I checked in as well so I got a Sierra Mist for free. I recommend getting a soda because it goes so well with the beef. I always need some type of carbonation when eating something heavy/greasy. We ended up getting the Deluxe Menu($ 18.99 each) which allows you to order a variety of meats. We ordered the Beef Brisket, Top Sirloin steak, Prime Beef brisket, Marinated Iron Steak, Iron Steak, Seafood Soon Du Bu(tofu soup), and steamed egg. It’s pretty sad that my favorite part of the meal was the soup and steamed egg. The quality of the meat wasn’t the best and we had to constantly pull fat off from most of the meat. The rice was also very sticky but the rice paper makes up for it. Our server Esther was great, though! Wonderful energy and a plain ol’ good attitude. She paid attention to us although she was extremely busy. Make sure to ask for some ice cream, it’s complimentary! Even though the meat wasn’t the best quality, I’ll probably be back. I know my little sister loves this place so maybe it was just an off night with the meat. Besides that, it was a decent experience. Oh oh oh I almost forgot to mention, be careful and watch out for the greasy floors. I don’t want anyone getting hurt now.
