Great by the glass selection, wine flight of WHATEVER you choose, relaxing, laid back, extremely friendly service. Came here for my birthday, sat on the peaceful patio and enjoyed a flight of 3 fantastic reds and the shrimp Diablo! Fantastic! Can’t wait to come back!

We stopped in tonight for the first time. We had the Meatball Mozzarella Plate & Bacon Wrapped Dates. Very tasty! My husband tried 3 different light beers and enjoyed each one. I tried a flight of 3 wines suggested by our waiter(nice young man). Nice laid back atmosphere that gave us a feeling of neighborhood. Enjoyed it immensely and will return soon.

This is hands down our favorite spot in round rock. Great wine that changes monthly, flag bread we crave, and outstanding staff. Come by!

Great place to hang out outside and drink wine. I love that a place like this exists in Round Rock without having to drive in to Austin. They have board games and horseshoes outside as well. Tried the humus trio and the cheese plate. The food was ok. Nothing outstanding. I think the main attraction here is the atmosphere and the opportunity to sit on the porch, visit with friends, play games, and drink vino.

When you first arrive, you enter this calm chilled serene. Not too much cork and wine décor like some places that let you know you’re at a wine bar. I liked it. We sat at the bar and had a couple of glasses. The bartender gave us a couple of samples before deciding which we actually like. I’m a red wine drinker so I ordered a Texas merlot. Wanted to try something different. It wasn’t bad. This place is a great place for conversation, not so much people watching. I think you can actually reserve some table and they also have a room where you can have a small party. I will try this place again with more people where we can chill and chit chat.

Didn’t like it, outdoor area had no music, fans or candles for mosquitos. Service was slow, wine it’s overpriced, appetizers are tiny servings. Wouldn’t recommend.

Heard this place moved thanks to Community Impact Newspaper. And decided to check It out for brunch. Met the owners, chef… And the resident dog Bentley. Great bunch! We had the spinach and mushroom scramble, a healthy choice with option to add bacon. We didn’t because we decided to try to Monte Cristo… omg! Prosecco rounded out the meal as did water for our pooch Bailey. It was a beautiful morning on the deck, perfectly shaded and dog friendly. Perhaps the most dog friendly place we’ve been outside of a dog park! Next time, I’d love to try the flatbreads and the bocci court! We’ll be back!

There was not enough staff here, had very poor service and thought the manager lady shouldn’t be drinking while working.

Food is so yummy and wine is great prices. The brownie dessert is to die for!!! Will absolutely be here again and especially because it’s pet friendly with the outdoor patio they at building! Can’t get any better than pet friendly with food & wine!

First visit; we’ll be back! They have a wonderful Tempranillo for a reasonable price. We tried three appetisers, the dates, the asparagus and the large cheese plate. All great, but do wish the cheese had not been so cold. Overall a great way to end the week. A special thanks to Leah for her service and knowledge of the menu.

I like their new location but be warned their parking lot is a hot mess right now as they are finishing up the final touches on the move and renovation. It’s a bigger space and is laid out nicely… we belong to their wine club and love that we can sample different wines from different regions every month along with a light dinner. Makes us feel very cultured… anyways the owners and service has always been excellent.

Meh, not incredible but not awful. We were hungry so we opted for some tapas. We got the edamame and the meatballs. Didn’t think either were really anything different than something that could be warmed up in the microwave at home. Also, it is one large room, and there is no carpet or rugs. Being a wine bar, it attracts more women than men, who after drinking got a bit loud the night we were there. The high pitch laughs and screams can get a bit old, but without any dividers or rugs, that sound travels right into your ears unhindered. Need to go back to try the wines. Menu looked like they had a decent offering, but our experience with the food has left us not dying to get back.

Super cute little homey place. I was expecting some place bigger and was a little surprised by how much I liked it there. It’s small and quiet and wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday night(although there was definitely a nice size crowd). The bartenders were sooo nice and offered great suggestions on wine. I had 2 glasses of the Tempranillo and made me even happier to find out happy hour was still going on until 9pm on a Saturday! I felt really comfortable there, talking to the servers, my roommate, and watching Wheel of Fortune ;) Definitely a cute little comfortable spot with yummy wine… I’d love to go back.

Went back a few months ago and understand it changed hands since last we were there. If not, the service level had gone down a lot. My party was very disappointed as the owners acted like we were bothering them. They were more interested in the few regulars sitting at the bar than helping us navigate the menu and wine offerings. It felt a big«clubby» and guess were weren’t in the club. I guess they now moved to a new location closer to downtown which they are renovating. I hope their attitude gets better with a new spot, we will try again I guess, but it will take some convincing to get my wife back in.

I run a meet up for married couples and held an event here. When I arrived they had our table for 16 set up, the music was soft and enjoyable. Barbara and the waitress were both very friendly and attentive. The setting was perfect and the wine was amazing! Thanks Barbara!

I was in Austin for a few days recently and happened to stumble upon Wine Sensation in Round Rock, and I’m so glad I did! This place is great! The owners– Barbra and Mark– really know their wines. I’m a member of a few wineries in my home state of California and like to go wine tasting now and then. I found out that they, too, are members of many wineries in that area and know more about the wines and vintages from that area than many locals! Very impressed. We also tasted a few New Zealand wines that they found during a wine tasting excursion they took in New Zealand. The flat bread pizza was great, too, as was their selection of IPA. Should I move to Round Rock?

I absolutely adore this spot. My friends might say I’m a little obsessed and that I spend too much time here… Until they come along with me. Then they understand. Wine Sensation has a great atmosphere: romantic but not formal, ambient but not dark, quiet but still friendly. Great place for a date night, or maybe just to grab a pizza and a glass after a long day. Everyone is super friendly — owners, bartenders, and patrons. Don’t be surprised if you leave feeling like you made some new friends. If you sit at the bar it’s almost impossible to not get involved in a fun conversation. Their wine selections rotate but they always have great choices. Talk to them! The owners are really helpful(Barbara is great!) and they’ll help you find what you like. They do regular wine tastings and have monthly wine club that really is a great deal. They also do special events to support local pet groups and their outside area is small but dog friendly. Not into wine? They have great taste in beer(though a smaller selection) and cheap happy hour beer specials. I come for the wine but drag my beer-loving friend with me nearly every time I go. EAT! The food is great! The flatbreads are divine. My favorites? Spinach, basil, truffle oil. Prosciutto and truffle oil. Chicken and onion. You can customize, too, so try the pesto options. I love the mixed greens salad with chicken as another meal option. The truffle oil mac n cheese is great but too rich for me. I had to throw in red pepper flakes to break up the flavors. All of the appetizers so far have been great. The bacon-wrapped dates are sooo good. They offer balsamic and olive oil tastings where you can mix and match, so there are plenty of options. Their cheese plate recently reignited my love affair with Dubliner(and honey). Long review… Has anyone actually read this far? If so, stop in and check this spot out. You won’t regret it!

We had a little get together for a colleague who was leaving. They have a little private back room that they reserved for us. That room holds maybe 10 people. Once more people arrived we just starting moving into the bar area. They took great care of us and everyone had a great time. Beer prices are awesome and they have nice wine specials. The atmosphere is great!

It is wonderful to have a local, easily-accessible bar to grab a bite to eat and sip on some wine with friends. While Wine Sensations is not in my neighborhood, but it is in a very good friend’s neighborhood. So, we gave it a try. Wine Sensation is a small, romantic, intimate, restaurant and wine bar in a strip mall off I-35 and 45(next to the Target). The lighting is dim and there is ample seating for two. The wine menu is large enough to make a selection, but not extensive. If you are looking for an extensive wine list with wines from Italy, France, Chile, Argentina, and New Zealand, you may be disappointed. There are some wines from outside of the US, however, most of the selection of reds are from California. While I think the wine menu rotates, my favorite red was the Filus Malbec from Argentina. Unless you are accustom to bad wine, I would steer clear off the Matua Pinot Noir from New Zealand. Matua has a nice Sauvignon Blanc, but the niceness does not carry over into their red family.
