Although they are friendly enough they just never get back to you. I emailed nobody answers the phone and forget trying to schedule an appointment

We have been using Waggin Tails for a couple of years now and couldn’t be happier. You have to book appointments way in advance but it is worth the wait. Marc and Erica take great care of my older Golden Retriever. Sonny never wants to get in the trailer but Marc always gets him in. They take great care of him while grooming him. Be sure though that when they are done that the grooming is to your satisfaction because they are so in demand it is difficult for them to come back out. All in all I would say they are great and I couldn’t think of using anyone else.

So, it started out very simple, with a call to the company. We have two 50 lbs dogs that I normally «groom» on my own, meaning I give them a bach and brush their coat. With the cooler temperatures I have been unable to do so, and they really are not comfortable being in our bathtub, so I reached out to these folks to get an estimate on how much they would charge to get them cleaned up and pretty. I sent the original email on December 15^th, and did not hear back from them for several days. I even attempted to call the number listed and it clearly states that you are required to send an email with the informationn they ask for. I did as requested and finally hear back from this morning with the following…

Needless to say, I am extremely dissapointed in the whole experience thus far, sad thing is these folks probably live two or three blocks from where we live, and it took them almost a week for them to email me only to tell me we can’t see new clients until March. I can already tell you I don’t care how close they are to us, I will be looking elsewhere for a mobile grooming service because the customer service has already started off on a bad foot as fart as I am concerned.

I wish my christian convictions would not allow me to write a bad review of a business owner, but this is highway robbery. Mr. Nuss not only has no notion of dog grooming, he is a liar, condescending, extremely rude and pompous con artist whose grooming practices are downright dangerous. I was employed by him for two days and I walked away absolutely horrified. All the cuts he does are the same, with the wrong blade use. Even the way he handles delicate private areas is totally incorrect and hazardous. He has spent a lot of money in fancy products that he misuses and drenches the dogs in perfume to cover for his lack of skills. He wanted me to work on a dog on a tv tray held to the wall by a stick!!! When I questioned his results he simply got enraged and antagonized me with a lot of medical questions that he draws from his years as a «nurse», when he claimed being a supervisor over one thousand employees by the time he made his first million dollars. He considers himself trained and qualified to perform veterinary assessments. He called perfect shih-​tzus «mongrels» which is by the way, the correct name for mutts, when I in bewilderment questioned the chopped fur over their paws exposing their toe-​nails… what every half decent groomer knows is a no-​no. He also presented me with a picture of a fabulous fantasy show poodle as something he did in his rinky-​dinky trailer… only for me to find the image copyrighted by the japanese in Google images (photo attached)!!! My grooming trainer, who is the only master groomer I’ve met in seven years (because he has been a professor for accredited schools and has numerous credentials) has NEVER charged $ 75 for a bath. If you are thinking of using these services, please call me and I will come to you without the homemade trailer and do much, much better for half. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS… i hate to see pets in danger! My fault for falling at the interview when all he showed me was a printed «award» from an Arizona governor for being «nurse of the year»… minus any seals or credentials.

The owner Marc Nuss is a complete jerk. I had an appointment which I had to miss due to me being at a funeral. True, I wasn’t in the right mind to cancel and I did miss the appointment. I got back today to an email saying that if he doesn’t have a $ 30 check in his office within 5 days he is going to take me to small claims court. Please find his email below:
We have given you every opportunity to rectify why you didn’t keep your «confirmed» appointment for dog grooming, even coming by the following morning and knocking on your door. There was a SUV in the driveway and the dogs came to the front door so we are pretty sure someone was home and did not answer the door; Regardless, you failed to honor your contract to us, and as you can see by the «paper trail» we produce and the big bold red letters explaining our cancellation policy, you are clearly in violation, and leave us no choice but to start the collections process and small claims court. Small business today does not have to endure breach of contract, and doctors offices, restaurants, and many other businesses like mine that rely on folks to honor «their» commitments by way of scheduled appointment and reservations will follow through to ensure compliance.
If I receive a check for $ 30 by no later than Wednesday September 17^th, to cover our expenses, (as we did the right thing and showed up when and where we were supposed to), I will forego the collections process. Otherwise, I will see you in Judge Dain’s Court, and I can guarantee he will not be pleased. It is truly unacceptable and without rhyme or reason why you did not just contact us if there was a known conflict, and then, to just blow us off… well, Ain’t Happening!

First off, our neighbor uses our driveway at times and our dogs are not crated so he assumes quite a bit up front without first seeking an explanation. I have no issue paying the fee but to threaten people in this manner is not good business. STAY AWAY!

We have been using Waggin Tails for over a year now and love them! They are excellent in how they treat our babies and our babies stay clean and smelling good for so much longer than other places. We’ve recommended them to family, friends and neighbors!

They showed up when they said they would, and did an awesome job on my two dogs! I will definitely be using them again!

I had to give them something because it would not accept anything else, but in actuality I give them no stars because Marc and Erika denied me of services as I was in the process of looking for a new groomer for my dog that is reasonable in price and something that I could be satisfied with cleaning and grooming without paying «petsmart» prices. I simply asked for a price inquiry and sent a very detailed email of what I was seeking along with pictures of my pet. I am not one that likes to hop around for services, I prefer to stick with people for the long haul even though I am picky in my process. Due to my own situation a mobile service would be more conducive to my situation. However, this is the response that I was given «We appreciate your interest, however at this time, we would encourage you to continue looking. Thank you, Marc and Erika» If they were registered with the Better Business Bureau I would file a complaint against their services or better yet the lack there of.

My phone call was an absolute horrible experience with them, we didn’t even make it to the grooming! I called and left a message at approximately 9:30 last Friday morning requesting a call back for service for the immediate weekend. I explained on the messege left my residential area and my cat who is a mainecoon that had a very unusual bathroom accident at the bottom of her butt. I said this does not normally happen and it is just at an awkward position for us at home to fix it. After a few hours with no response I called again, no one answered. Called a third time around the 5’oclock closing time still no one answered. At that point I gave up hoping anything would be done this weekend.
Around 8:30pm I received a call while standing at the grocery check out. The man who I spoke with immediately said unfortunately you are out of our service area. I replied your company service area listed North Austin just after Cedar Park. I live in north Austin right next to Cedar Park in the Four Points area. He came back and said «but that’s at the lake». NO it’s not, that would be the next zip code 5 miles west on 620. I asked him what he considered North Austin after the Cedar Park area since we were 4 miles from CP. He then appeared as if fine with coming to our home and asked about our cat. I reexplained the same thing I stated on the message I left that morning. He gave some story about how he had worked on another Maine coon a week prior and how they had to sedate her. I immediately said «oh I don’t want our cat to be sedated». That’s when the extreme unprofessionalism began. He replied very aggressive «WHY Not, if I were here and had someone poking and prodding at me then I would want to be sedated». I again I explained to him that it was a very isolated area under her butt that the fur needed cut out because feces stuck. There was absolutely no reason to sedate her. He then said «oh so her furs not matted?». I said again for the third time explained the situation and told him again that our cat is regularly well groomed and there is no matting just this isolated bathroom accident spot. That’s when his phone aggression became condescending. He said did you try giving her a bath. I said no. His response (extremely rude tone) «Why Not?». I said that was why I called a professionally company because it was not easy for us to fix that area of her body and since she was getting up there in years I was not going to be a pet owner who did not care about her level of stress. He then pressured me as to why I didn’t try a bath again! I had to go through the whole thing about that’s why professionals are hired again because he apparently didn’t understand why he had his own service! This went on way longer than it should have and at some point I had to explain to him that cats in general DO NOT like baths, we’ve in the past gave the same cats baths at a younger age but would not put here through the stress in our apt for multiple reasons this time. Finally I just interrupted him because he wouldn’t stop and said I’ll just take her somewhere else. I just take her to the vet or something. He could probably tell I was really annoyed, but he shouldn’t be protected from the ignorant professionalism that he just displayed! The only reason I thought of the vet when I did was because we were trying to load the groceries in the car at that point and there was one across the street!!!

Compassionate. Thorough. Excellent. Groomer is retired nurse and gave my cat that same tender care. This couple did the impossible for my 14 year-​old Maine Coon Cat that was totally matted. They not only gently removed the mats but did not cut or mark the skin. I highly recommend this mobile service. Their upscale equipment trailer parked in front of my house and completed their task in a timely manner so my pet was not stressed out and was he happy to be relieved of all that tangled hair.

My dog looks and smells great after a visit from Waggin Tails. My kids were so excited to see their truck with it’s cute puppies and bubbles on it. My dog was comfortable and well treated. The groomers were friendly, on time and very professional. We’ll definitely be using Waggin Tails for our future grooming needs :)

They were awesome! They took their time with my girls and did a fantastic job! My two Shih Tzu’s are my everything, and they took special care of them.
