They make their breakfast tacos fresh when you order them and they taste amazing. The sauce was delicious as well. The only downside was the long line/wait. But it was worth it.

Simply the best kolaches in the world! Love this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast tacos are made to order, so they take a little time. Not a grab and go item. I’ve been going there for years and I’ve never had a bad experience.

Very nice kolaches. My apple fritters were a bit overcooked, but still tasty.

One of those small but terrible must-go-to spots. It’s mostly take out but we decided to dine in. This place can afford to close early(open 5am-1pm) because there will always be people coming in to buy their great-tasting kolaches and donuts. The line never ends! They also serve breakfast tacos yet for me to try. I had jumbo sausage jalaleno cheese kolache and their own cream filled donut. Amazing experience. Once again, I need to forewarn anyone who is oblivious of what an eats place like this is – if you love flashy breakfast, a kolache place is not for you. Their average high Unilocal rating says it all. Kudos.

Very good croissant breakfast sandwich. Good bacon and egg taco. Both fresh! I didn’t love the old fashioned sour cream donut. It was Ok, just not the flavor I was expecting or looking for– it really tasted just like cake, very sweet cake. On the whole, I would recommend Sarena’s. It’s a bit out of the way for my morning commute, but I would stop in if I was in the area.

I must say I stumbled upon this place a month ago and ordered there bacon and egg breakfast tacos. It was not disappointing. The salsa they give you needs to be bottled. I would buy a gallon. Only drawback it gets busy. So I have a 1 complaint. I was smart and I called in my order. I arrive 20 min later only to find a line out the door. How in the heck could I go in? On another time I did the same only to see 7 people in front of me. No sense calling in as they need a dedicated pick up area. Only complaint, Tried the Kolache and it was very tasty but go with the breakfast tacos… ADDCHEESE makes it taste way better. 4 Stars, Five if there was pick up window, or area!

We stopped by Sarena’s a few weeks ago for donuts, breakfast tacos, and sausage and cheese kolaches. First the donuts: We ordered the blueberry old fashioned donuts and they were delicious. Cakey, sweet, strong blueberry taste and not at all dry. Breakfast tacos: Here’s where my bias of being a former South Austinite and very close to KC donuts comes to play. Sarena’s tacos are good. However, the egg is cooked on too high heat in my opinion making the eggs hard, but the flavors are great. I ordered a potato, egg, and cheese with salsa. Last the Kolaches: I particularly liked Sarena’s kolaches basing most of my opinion on the dough. The dough was slightly sweet and fluffy, soft and moist. The sausage and cheese were tasty as well. We went a little after 9am on a Sunday and had no problems with long lines. The seating area is very small, and most people seated are waiting on their tacos, so I would recommend taking your food to go.

Still love this place! The owner is so friendly and I enjoy supporting a local business. They now serve breakfast tacos until 11am. Hooray! I recommend calling a head for the breakfast tacos so you don’t have to wait in line. My favorite is the chorizo, egg, potato, and American cheese. The salsa is awesome too. The sour cream old fashioned is my favorite donut and my husband likes the donut holes.

We have become regular customers of Serena’s ever since we’ve moved to Round Rock! I have always been a fan of Round Rock donuts, but was introduced to Serena’s by a friend. Honestly, I like Round Rock donuts, but I love Serena’s! The best on the menu(in my opinion) are the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant, the blueberry cake donuts, and their glazed donuts. I only like hot glazed donuts from RR donuts(after they get cold they are no bueno!), but Serena’s glazed donuts are soft, moist, and yummy cold.

Good, honest folks and good honest food. Nothing fancy, but good sized breakfast tacos for the price, the donuts are tasty and it is a Saturday morning ritual for the kids. Kolaches are good too. Very friendly people who always have smiles on their faces. Get there early though!

Best donuts in Town. This hidden gem has some of the best donuts, kolaches, breakfast tacos and sandwiches. The old fashion sour cream donuts are incredible — thick, dense but so moist. The kolaches are delicious! You have to try these donuts!!!

I finally tried this place while heading out of town on a road trip earlier this year. We stopped by around 10am, and they were already pretty picked over. We were able to get a few kolaches and donuts. Everything we had was good, but nothing really blew us away. Perhaps all of their signature bakery items were already sold by the time we got there? Not sure. At any rate, I can’t say we’ll make any special trips here again, but I won’t object if someone picks up some of their donuts for an event.

Long line with slow moving people, everyone took their time picking donuts. I finally get to the register and they have no corn tortillas. Who sells chorizo but doesn’t have corn tortillas, it’s truly a contradiction. Furthermore, the lady in front of me asked for salsa and thy didn’t have that either. Boo on half-ass breakfast taco place

I go almost every Friday to take some donuts to some work partners. Friendliest family joint around. They know your name, add extra things to the order on occasion without being asked(free). THEBEST breakfast tacos EVER. They truly make you feel like family there.

I didn’t have anything sweet. I had a jalapeño cheese and sausage kolache and thought it was OK. The bread was more like croissant dough but firmer then soft slightly sweet kolache dough. I also had a taco with egg, cheese and chorizo that severely lacked flavor. They didn’t have any salt or salsa for tacos so that was a bummer. I asked for my son’s water sippy to be filled and she said I had to buy a bottle. Husband had a croissant sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon. The bacon was so crispy it tasted like burned pork rinds(and I like pork rinds!) he actually picked it out. We saw long long lines there the entire time we were there so maybe there’s something wrong with us. We won’t be going back.
