I have used Reid’s for as long as I can remember… at least 25 – 30 years. They are not the most affordable. They are competitive. The important thing is, when I want it done right, and/or it is a special garment, Reid’s is where I take it. I also usually feel like an important customer at Reid’s no matter how long it may have been since I took in some laundry/cleaning. At other centers, I see virtually no personality behind the counter… just people processing me like another garment.

The customer service has declined at this location over the past year. When I dropped off my clothes recently, I was informed they would be available the following day by 3pm. When I went to pick them up I was VERY rudely informed it wasn’t my day; however, my ticket did reflect that my clothes would be ready by 3pm. The next response was again very rude and matter of fact that the truck was running late because of the weather. Which was very interesting since it was one of the first sunny and beautiful days we have had in Round Rock in more than 10 days. I will be using a different dry cleaners that is located right next to my home.

Sweet & convenient on West Liberty, cruising on my way to IH-35 via Round Rock Avenue. Like hitting this cool location with a drive up window. Consistent on efficient staff and value as well. Good in my neighborhood.

Two clear and sure themes about Reid’s: 1. They’re pretty expensive, 2. They do their cleaning in-house and tend to do a pretty good job. However, I just can’t get past the lack of customer service. Most of the employees I’ve encountered over the years act as if the customers are an inconvenience to them. They also don’t seem to be thrilled when you(politely) inform them they’ve done something incorrect. For example: I haven’t had my pants creased since the late 90s. It’s habit to tell the cleaners: «no crease on anything, please.» The gentleman behind the counter confirms. I go to pick up my clothes, and low-and-behold, the pants have creases. The employee proceeds to argue with me «well sir, the receipt doesn’t say ’ no creases’.». It’s a bit of a struggle to get them to fix my clothes. This is just one example of the off-putting experiences I’ve had with them recently. While they do seem to take really good care of your clothes(and the prices match), I can’t see myself continuing to spend my money here based on the poor customer service.

LOVE this dry cleaner. Staff is always nice and helpful, nice drive thru service and I always get an email when my stuff is ready! And the clothes look top notch when I pick them up!!!

My family has been a customer of Reid’s Cleaners for over 10 years. Well, not anymore. Over the past year, the service has gone downhill, quickly. Shirts would be returned to me with stains that weren’t there when dropped off. And today, it took 3 people 20 minutes just to find a shirt. After today, I will be searching for another dry cleaner in the Round Rock/Cedar Park area.
