Prestige Nails and Hair

Some of you may have seen my review/​question a few months ago. I was talking about a hair and nail lady that I had found at Harvey’s Nail Salon in Round Rock. I am new to Texas and I was having difficulty finding someone to cut my hair so I turned to Unilocal.A lady by the name of Lillian kept coming up in reviews as giving a great hair cut as well as manicures. I made an appointment and went and she was just as good as all the interviews… in fact better. I had gotten caught in a terrible thunder storm on the way to the appoint. and I kept calling her and even though it was closing time she said to still come.
Two months later I called for a hair cut and she was gone. No one at Harvey’s would tell me where she went. I was so upset. Finally I had found someone that didn’t charge an arm and a leg and she was gone. I held off on getting my hair cut from early September till mid December when I just couldn’t wait any longer. I was on my way in to Torchys on Palm Valley road and there was a Great Cuts beside Torchy’s. Don’t know what made me decide to go in, but I did. No, Lillian wasn’t working there but after getting in deep conversation with Angie, the lady who was cutting my hair, and telling her my «Lillian» story I found that this same Lillian has been Angies’s as well as her mother’s nail tech. for over 10 years. Angie called Lillian while we were having dinner and asked if she could give me her number and tell me where she was working. By the way Angie was very good and I can always use her as a backup. And, how nice was it for her to go the distance and get me back to Lillian? There are still good people out there.
So, I went today to get my hair cut. She was just as good as the first time. Usually I just get a hair cut but today I treated myself to the wash (great head massage, even temples), cut and style. The whole thing was $ 30.00!
I understand Harvey’s has been threatening Lillian since I posted my question asking if anyone knew where she was. Just think if they had just told me where she was… they obviously knew or they couldn’t have reached her.
Anyway someone wanted me to find Lillian and I did. The salon itself is nothing great, but it is neat and clean. The employees I saw were mostly Vietnamese, not that that should matter and Lillian is just as sweet as sugar, not to mention experienced. She checks, and double checks. She won’t let you leave until you are Happy. She really should have her own place.
So if you are looking for a stylist give her a call. She said she was going back to Vietnam for the month of February as she hasn’t seen her family for five years but she will be back the first week of March. You won’t be sorry.

Stumbled across this place and I was impressed. They do nails and even hair cuts! My mom had a mani/​pedi and wax done. The people were nice and the place was clean. If I’m ever in the area I’ll definitely return
