The front office staff at their Round Rock location on Park Valley Drive is rude and unprofessional. I was seen several times by a PA who was very nice and professional. He determined I would benefit from knee arthroscopy and someone from his office staff would contact me in 10 – 12 days to schedule the surgery. 2.5 months later I have not heard ANYTHING from anyone regarding this surgery. If the doctor had decided I didn’t need the surgery, I would think I would have been contacted. Is that too much to ask? If they contacted me today, I would not schedule the surgery with them! I’m going to another orthopaedic surgeon.

if you are looking for someone to gouge your insurance and you, this is your place. Nothing like being told in the office that your insurance covers a boot that lists from the company at under $ 50, but billed for ~$ 450, and about $ 150 above contracted insurance price. I hate that people tell you that something is covered and they feel justified to bill even higher than contracted price just to make a buck. The office staff is much to be desired as well, I have averaged at least a 10 min wait on hold waiting to get switched to another extension or disconnected all together. I have had trouble with ever getting a return phone call, getting FMLA forms returned after 3 wks only after leaving multiple messages and coming in, and speaking with billing, nothing like getting the response of we’ll look into it. I saw Greg the PA, who was good and appeared to be interested in my care. Unfortunately, because of these other issues, I would not be recommending this practice to anyone. As a therapist myself, I have been extremely frustrated with the business of insurance and how the exorbanant price of heathcare as been blown out of porportion to care.

I arrived on time for my 9:30am appointment. I waited as 4 other patients were seen in front of me and finally saw my doctor at 10:20am. He was very professional and knowledgeable — I just wish the office was better organized with scheduling appointments.

Over the past 4 months, I have been seen by 3 other doctors, none of whom were able to accurately diagnose my issue. I asked one of them specifically for an MRI, yet they refused to send me in for one, stating the physical therapy was all I needed.
Well, after 3 months of treatments, including physical therapy, that seemed to make things worse, I finally found Peter Ibarra (P.A. to Dr. Rumi) who sent me in immediately for an MRI and is on a quest to figure out my issues.
The office at OACT (Forest Creek) is very nice and clean, the staff is great and they really took the time to explain their thoughts and treatment plan. We even went over the ‘What-​Ifs” on the first visit — «What if the results are this or that», etc. I felt like they really took the time to get to know me and my issues rather than brushing me off to the side.
At this time, I would highly recommend Dr. Rumi and his staff to anyone having lower back pain!
