Evins Peronnel Consultants – Round Rock

Big waste of time. Their representative Tom was a flake for a confirmed appointment. We’re not giving them a second chance when you can be hired direct and not give them a cut.

When I first moved to Austin they did not have any work, even after 3.5 years. Things must have picked up as I have been getting calls and interviews from them. They hired a lady named Dayna who has been a real shining star in helping people. Too bad there are not more like her. Hopefully I will get something that will last at decent pay.
My cons about Evins is that they pay every other week, instead of weekly. And they have a «handguns banned» on premise, which is not good for safety as it makes everyone inside an easy target for a crazy person. I think they have the policy for employee placement with clients too. Not good.

I went to Evins in hopes of finding work, but instead all I received from them was a headache. They told me when I signed on with them that they would send me a typing test to my personal computer. I never received it. I contacted them again and still never received it. They contacted me to go on a temporary assignment tagging jewelry for a company. I did this for 3 and a half days, but had to take a couple of days off because my daughter was graduating from culinary school and had a portfolio showing she had to get ready for and needed my assistance in preparing for that. I also had family coming in to town for the graduation. In my haste to get all the things done that needed to be done in a short amount of time I failed to contact them by telephone, but spoke with them in person to let them know that I would be available once again the following week. Instead of them doing any follow up with me via telephone or answering my e-​mails that I sent they claimed that I voluntary quit my job with them. Therefore, they caused me to lose unemployment benefits that I have earned. I will not use Evins Personnel Consultants of any other temp service again. It is not worth the headache.
