They make a good computer. I placed an order online. I decided to make an upgrade to the order. I called customer service, was transferred 7x. All said it wasn’t their dept. I was referred to Order Modification Dept. 2x, only for them to say they can’t modify my order. Dell customer service is the worst on the planet! I would give a negative rating if allowed.

I bought an all in one system on December 24th2015 I received it on the 26th, but I did not set it up until the first week of January 2016. Immediately after setting it computer started to freeze and so my calls to tech support. I got the run around for three months. After getting fed up with the inepts in tech support I wrote an email directly to Mr. Dell the Ceo. Within a couple of days I had a call from a Mr. Prawin who claimed to be manager for client services. After arguing the case with the man he sent some one over and they replaced the mother board, lasted a, few minutes after their quick repair. I called back and told them that I wanted my $ 802.00 back, of course they said I did not have a right to a refund because it has passed the guarantee even though I have been complaining since I opened the box. He sent Fed Ex to pick up the computer sent to their repair hub. Four days later they sent it back in am happy to report that the repair lasted for two days. I am now going to start the case with investigator reporters at NBC. Let see how they like some bad publicity. I may be out of $ 800.00, but you can bet that I am not going quietly. After two years of lugging my laptop all over the country, in and out of airplanes, hotels, and rental cars, the poor thing just looked at me one day and said, «Oh Hell No!» That was my signal to start looking for a new work machine, and that started the search through various office supply stores and electronics retailers. I had a demanding list of «must have’s», and wasn’t able to find what I wanted sitting on the shelf. I decided to explore the Dell Computers website, and was quite surprised and pleased with their online build-your-own PC options. After reading through all of my choices, I was able to build a 7000-series Latitude laptop with all of my required bells & whistles for a reasonable price. The machine arrived at my office within 4 days, and it has performed flawlessly since that time. Nicely done, Dell. Thank you!

I called Dell to order a new charger for my laptop. After several frustrating phone calls with 45 minute wait times, I was able to do so. I waited for the charger, it did not arrive on the specified day. After a week, I called dell again to find out what had happened to the charger, another 45 min hold time. I was told it was on back order, even though I was never notified. I asked if they could send me a different version of the charger which was slightly more expensive. I was told they could. I then received the ordered charger and later, the charger that was backordered. I was charged for both. Neither fixed the problem, so I attempted to return them both. There was not return slip in the package even though the return instructions on the packing slip state, «Place the return label on the outside of the box…» I went to the Dell website(after several 45 min attempts to reach a person on the phone) and went through the return process as instructed. I received an email saying that the return was being processed and they would let me know when a decision had been made. I never received a follow up email. I am currently on hold with them again, but as usual, I am unable to reach anyone who can help me. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never buy a Dell product ever again.

Last week I ordered a Dell laptop and during the checkout process, it told me that I would either recieve the laptop or it would be sent out in 4 days. After I checked out and I went back into my account, I discovered that the delivery date was estimated for April 2016!!! Could this be? 6 months to receive a laptop? I called several times right after I placed the order as well as chat several times with customer support and in each instance, after waiting a minimum of 20 minutes, the dell rep could not assist me and forwarded me to another department that they say could assist. I waited and waited on the line and no one ever came on. If the laptop is going to take 6 months, I do not want it and I will order from anoter company. I have ordered several laptops over the years from dell and I am extremely upset over this!

I bought a DELL all-in-one computer for a handicapped, shut-in neighbor on . It worked for less than a week and then intermittently would shut off. Dell sent a technician who replaced hard drive and motherboard. Same issues. FORFOURMONTHS we have tried to get a refund or a new computer — one day spending FOURHOURS on the phone. They finally agreed to send a replacement but then RENEGED a week later. At one point they accused me of trying to exchange the unit from AFRICA! I live in Palm Springs, CA. They rudely informed me that AMAZON is not an AUTHORIZEDRETAILER for DELL so they had no warranty obligations. CRAZY. Please be careful buying DELL products. BADSTUFF, BADINTENT, BADKARMA!
