Buffalo Wings & Rings

This is our favorite wing place!!! The service is awesome! We always sit in the bar area! The wings are big and he sauces are always amazing!!! There’s never a wait! And it’s close to home! My favorite is the sweet tai chili!

I thought this place was empty because of location and the day/​time of the week that I went. NOPE, it was the food! Not good when compared to Pluckers, Buffalo Wild Wings, and even Wingstop. Service was innocently bad as well. The place was dead and it took about 10 minutes for my beer and just as long for a refill on water.
The wings were practically drowned in sauce, like a buffalo wing soup…

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to call out the extremely poor service at this place. The first time I came it took 15 minutes before someone even acknowledged my table. This time I waited again, but was smart enough to walk out. I would definitely recommend going anywhere other this place. Where are the negative stars?

There was an error in my take out order but management came through and I walked out a happy customer. I will definitely be back because it’s hard to find good customer service these days. They could of been rude but they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Thank you so much!

Once my husband and I walked in, it was super loud and we were waiting a while to be seated. Wasn’t sure where the host was at or if they had one. One guy asked if we wanted to sit up front I the corner… Right next to a big loud crowd that gave us a headache. No thank you. Passed to that and asked if we can sit further in by the only BIG screen TV. They accommodated our request.
Our server seemed backed up but he was still very attentive. We ordered 15 wings– 5 Cajun, 5 buffalo xhot, 5 lemon pepper. Also ordered onion rings and parmesean fries. I wasn’t too big of a fan on their onion ring sauce. Tasted like a lot of horseradish in it something… So I asked for ketchup. The parmesean fries were okay… nothing to rave about. I love how they put each wing flavor in a separate bowl. That was definitely a plus! I don’t like my wings mixed all on one plate majority of the time. The wings were good size compared to other wings joints.
Our server was very friendly and made sure we were fufilled. That was also a plus. We were nervous at first since our first walk in wasn’t so welcoming. Will be. Back to try other items.

I have been here 8 times in the last 2 months. The food has always been very good. Best onion rings ever. The staff always seems to be different which is strange. But they are always friendly. Specials are always good. Food comes quickly and the quality is much better than say Chilis or Applebee’s.
I don’t know or understand why the reviews have been terrible. The new management has seemed to help.

The chicken was decent for $ 0.79 a wing, the flavors were pretty bad. Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable and wasn’t around very much. I’d only come back if someone offered to buy wings.

Great deal with check in that has never seemed to go away. Check in and get free app with meal.

*I live on the road and eat out often. I never ever write reviews unless the service is horrible. and the service here is horrible.
showed up with a group of guys after work. it took about 15 minutes for a waitress, 20 minutes for our drinks, 25 minutes for our food, and two tables (a table of 3 and a table of 5) got their drinks and apatizers before us, and they walked in a half hour after us! in our group ⁵⁄₇ people in our group got the wrong order… and we waited forever for the check. dude came around with a dish bucket and we had to load our own dishes in.
whoever owns this franchise is failing hard. this place is super understaffed and the staff itself is a bunch of young kids who have no experience at all with serving.
I’ve been to a wings and rings in New Braunfels and the service there was amazing! here it completely sucks. everyone who gives this place a full rating either sat up at the bar or are completely retarted.
until this place improves their training for their staff it’s a shithole. I’ll never be back.
only good thing about this place was our waitress was cute.
Oh and fyi, we walked in at 6:30pm and didn’t leave till 8:30…

Yum! Amazing! Don’t know why they have 2 ½ stars because they’re REALLY good! And great service.

Came here tonight with some friends and our 2 year old. Our server was Eric, who was polite and friendly. Ordered a couple of appetizers (their garlic fries are awesome!), wings and a burger. Food was good, place was clean (the only remark I have is vis-​à-​vis our table which was a bit sticky), service was great and we enjoyed a fun evening with our friends.

So for starters… the food here is awesome! I love the sweet Thai chili boneless wings. They’re amazing! The blue cheese is also incredibly good. Try the onion wings. You won’t be disappointed. The reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars is due to an order they messed up on. If the place was extremely busy I’d be a little more forgiving but that wasn’t the case. I placed a phone order to take home to the family. I realized when I got home that my onion rings and blue cheese were not included. I went back and they gave me the missing rings and apologized. They offered me a free beer (which I declined… crazy, I know) and I headed home. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the onion ring order. It was a pretty small order. It would have been nice to get a few extra considering I had to drive back due to their mistake but I’m willing to overlook it.

I’m giving a four star review for the servers efforts. They are understaffed and practically running to try to keep up. There is never a shortage of servers in the food service industry, so I will blame understaffing on the management. When the servers that they have are over killing themselves and having their tips suffer they will move on to another job. The circle of understaffing will continue. The food is always great.

This place is horrible! I’ve come here once before, because it’s across the street from my apartment. It sucked then, and it definitely sucks now. I was hopeful, because they added a nice patio, and I was under the impression that it was under new management, but it’s not. The inside was filthy, 50% of the tables were covered in dirty dishes. We awkwardly stood up front while multiple people walked by and didn’t acknowledge us. The server took 15 minutes to get to our table, took 15 minutes to bring out drinks, we didn’t get our ranch until the end of the meal, the server cleared the table (including a ¼ mug of beer) before we were finished, and took 1 minute to bring us our check. The service really lacks, and the food is ok… In all, this place blows… The single star is for the decent patio…

Horrible Horrible place. The servers dont listen. We went 2 weeks ago (jason/​bobby — forgot his name, long hair and beard) my order was wrong.

Today skye, my server — first of all, from my seat she was eating and drinking in the galley and didnt wash her hands. (yuck)
Then jason/​bobby (dont really remember his name) was touching his hair AND beard, didnt wash hands. — NASTY!!!
then my meal was wrong. Skye — tried to make it better: i took it off, so you wont have to pay” — UMMM. excuse me? my reply «i wouldnt have paid, i didnt order it, or eat any of it» —
Didnt offer to send a manager over.
Clearly, this location DOESNT care about customers hand washing iSNT mandatory, and either the staff cant read/​write simple orders…

Love the food! This place has such a wide variety on their menu! I highly recommend their pulled pork nachos… omg! They are SO delicious. Their chicken tenders are one of the best in town. I love their sauces and how you can mix them as you like. The choices in burgers are awesome. Very different options. The servings are big! Drink specials are fantastic too!
I was there for the SuperBowl and had an awesome time! It just may be my new tradition. They were so busy that they ran out of bone-​in wings but they solved the problem about as fast as anyone could. As for the other review here regarding the wings issue, please understand, it was SUPERBOWL SUNDAY. If it was a normal Sunday, then yes, you have a right to be upset but they were as prepared as they could be and solved the problem as fast as they could. The delicious food makes up for it.
I highly recommend this place! The atmosphere is super fun. Lots of tv’s if you are watching sports. Just go!

Slightly shocked by the slow service considering the Anouilh people that were there. It took awhile to get the food an our drinks (I had to get my own beer), but when it came it was pretty good. My kids liked their wings and apples, my wife like her order of wings, fries, an Saratoga chips, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Chorizo Nacho Burger. All in all, not bad considering kids eat free on Mondays.

I should have listened to the reviews but wanted a place convenient near my neighborhood and thought how could you go wrong with a salad and appetizers. My friend and I ordered food on Wednesday night (Dec 10^th) to go. We ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and sampler appetizer to split. When we got home, my friend got her portions first then I got mine and was ready to dive in as it all looked so good. After 3 bites of my salad, I saw something moving around in it and it was a FLY! Obviously the fly was half dead due to being absorbed in the salad but was still moving around, so who knows how long it had been in there spilling it’s guts all on the food. I gagged and was totally grossed out and called management right away.
The manager (didn’t get her name) was apathetically apologetic and offered to replace the salad but why would one want to even eat there anymore after having a moving FLY inside your food aside from losing my appetite totally? I don’t care if it was a 5 star restaurant. Any flies in my food from any establishment would surely lose my business. I told her that I would never eat there again and that they need to ensure their kitchen is more cleanly. She became robotic («I’m sorry this happened to you, I apologize for the inconvenience, this doesn’t happen on a regular basis…») and her tone was very defensive in rationalizing the situation because it was a to go order and she wasn’t able to see it for herself. Well here’s the picture of it, GROSS! My night was ruined, lost my appetite, totally grossed out, lost $ 24+ dollars, and all she offered was to replace it. No thank you. Do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews and see here of proof that this place is a no go. YUCK.

I’ve been going to BWR regularly for 5 years, but lately I’ve been less and less because the service seems to be going down, the outside looks patio looks a mess, the interior doesn’t seem «clean».
This past Sunday I went with friends after church, and I have to say it’s only getting worse. The wait staff was terrible, asked for things never got them, was charged for «ranch» that we didn’t order, and actually had said we didn’t want with the meal. My salad had very little chicken on it, the bowl was mostly lettuce. Just poor service all around and took forever to get our check, then to pay. We literally sat for 20 – 25 minutes between waiting for check and paying the bill. And NO, they were not busy.
Just disappointed all around, this use to be my favorite place. And lastly, the TVs were so loud, we could barely hear each other talking. I realize it was football Sunday, but still…

This place surprisingly serves up some really good food. The beer is priced right. It’s also located really close to home, so it’s convenient as well.
However, I do have to agree with my fellow Unilocalers who have complained about the service. It’s plain to see that they allow mostly just out of high school kids to work here, which really isn’t doing the business much good. Servers with a lack of experience and appreciation for their job is definitely a big turn off when dining out.
Other than that, the wings are great, the burgers are tasty, the sides are good, and the beer is cold.
