My husband installed two Nest thermostats in our home recently, but we noticed that the system just wasn’t cooling like it used to. I found a list of Nest certified installers on their website, checked some Unilocal reviews, and called Air Tex. I got lucky and got an appointment the next day! Trey came out and checked the thermostats, the system in the attic and the outside system — finding the problem with the outside unit. Looks like the caps/​fittings weren’t tightened down after it was installed when the house was built about 3 years ago (thank you Gehan homes, not), and the freon leaked out.
Trey was very personable and made me feel that he was trustworthy and completely on the up and up. He was thorough and his fee was beyond reasonable. Should you need some A/​C help, you will not be disappointed with Trey and Air Tex!

If you need air conditioning or heating work, you must call Charlie. He has got to be one of the best, most honest, and trustworthy HVAC men there is. On 6÷4÷10 he was scheduled to service our a/​c system in the afternoon, I was to meet him at my home at 6 p.m. On the way there my wife called to say she was involved in a minor traffic accident. While I went to help my wife, I called Charlie to reschedule. He said he would still go to our house to check out the a/​c. I gave him the security code and let him go in. It would have been very easy to ‘find’ something horribly wrong with our unit but when I was able to call Charlie later he informed me the a/​c was only low on charge. Total price, $ 113.71! Very cold air! Thank you Charlie.
