Being new to the area, we weren’t sure which restaurant to try first in downtown Round Rock and went with 121 on main. We came on a Friday nite and it was a bit quiet …but they had on the games on the TV’s above the bar and we were able to get 2 seats as a couple left from the bar. I had the Pinot Noir which was very nice! My fiancé, the Austin EastCiders(which he claims is now his favorite cider.) We decided on just an app, the beef nachos. They were perfect! Each nacho was already plated as the perfect bite and wasn’t a large sloppy mess as most nachos ordered at a bar would be. Next to me, the patron had the shrimp and that looked just as nicely plated and presented. A singer was setting up as we were heading out to another bar, but I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I will definitely be back to enjoy more of their food items and check out the music!

Went for 1 drink on a Saturday night, here’s the break down: Pros: Interesting little menu, nice décor, liked their live music, drinks are a tad pricey but very tasty. I can see this place being fun for a group of friends hanging out or a couple spending some one-on-one time together. Cons: bartenders were rude and drinks were slow, looked like there was a lot of tension between the bar staff. Overall: Would still go back for a night out downtown, and would definitely be interested in going to actually eat sometime.

We’re new to Round Rock and came here at the weekend to check this place out. We were hoping for something a little livelier but decided to grab a drink and appetizer anyway. We’re glad we did! We had the beef nachos which were fantastic — each nacho was pre-built into the perfect bite with a good amount of meat, sauce and cheese with guac and sour cream on the side. The rest of the menu is pretty limited and not that inspiring — we were hoping for some more tapas type dishes but, aside from the nachos and perhaps the truffle fries, nothing stood out. The drinks selection is ok and while they had live music, it was all the way at the back with a poor sound system so you could only really enjoy it of you were at one of the closer tables.

After walking in the sprinkling rain from Wine Sensation, we ended up here on 121 On Main. The inside décor is nice. Chilled and contemporary. We sat at the bar right in front of the kitchen and ordered some drinks. The bartender was pretty cool. She always checked up on us and made sure we were good to go. My drinks could’ve went a little stronger but it wasn’t weak either. I like a little more than your average. hehe After a couple of drinks we were a little hungry. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed but the cook said it’s okay. He made us some truffle fries. It was AWESOME!!! We tried to tip him but he kindly said no and said just take care of her(pointing at our bartender) cause she’s my girl. That was so generous of him. Of course we tipped her well and off we went due to closing. It sucks that the bars around here(not counting 6th Street) close at 12. That’s pretty darn early but oh well. Called our Über peeps and off we went home. I will definitely come here again. Officially called it our spot since it’s close to the casa.

Everything about this place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and the food is just simply amazing. We found this place 3 weeks ago and have been here every week since. Their food is good enough! There’s also a nice selection of drinks too. Highly recommend this place!!!

I wish I liked their food more because I love downtown Round Rock, it’s a super cute place, convenient location and I love supporting local businesses. But their food has been pretty mediocre. Their flat bread was pretty tasty. Simple but really tasty. Their salmon sliders are okay — huge potential but the salmon has seemed pretty dry both times I had them, and like it was missing something. The Mac and cheese was not my thing. Waiter highly recommended it and I’m a huge Mac and cheese lover but it was just okay… too cheesy but not the good kind of cheesy. Weird texture kinda. Fries are good. Their drinks are good. I loved LOVED loved the sandwiches they used to have here for lunch when it was Krave… now those sandwiches I miss!!!

It’s a nice place with comfortable seating, good service and a nice menu selection… unfortunately they forgot to mention on their website that they don’t serve food on Sunday. Seriously? People need something to eat when they’re consuming alcohol. If people need a day off, and you can’t even serve something simple like cheese and crackers, perhaps you should just be closed on Sunday.

Great patio, Happy Hour specials are on point. You can choose some of the craft house drinks or what you normally sip. Downtown RR has a nice hidden gem! I hope for many years of business to come.

This place is great! Prices aren’t bad, but could be a bit better. Had the Old Fashioned which was great. My wife had the moscato which she and I both thought was great. We are definitely going to go back!

Great upscale lounge, I won’t call it a bar because it’s pretty classy. We went last night, which was a Wednesday, there was a great older crowd(we’re 38&42 so this was nice) a DJ was spinning old school music for«Way Back Wednesday». The atmosphere was lit just right, it wasn’t too dark or too bright. The waitress was very friendly and brought my husband several samples of beer(He’s a Beer Connoisseur; nah, not really but he does like trying new beers) I ordered their Mia Moscato which was very tasty, didn’t order any food, because we went with full bellies, so I’ll have to try the food next time. We seriously just discovered downtown Round Rock and so glad that we did. We’ll visiting 121 again soon.

Intimate place for wine. We got there about 10 minutes before closing and knew we were going to be there only a short time. The people there are friendly and helpful. Important to note that the attitude was processional and attentive even at the late hour. We enjoyed a glass of pinot noir and Zinfandel and sat down on the comfortable couch and enjoyed. Good addition to Main Street and would come back again.

An upscale wine bar with a small selection of different food, 121 On Main sits in the heart of Round Rock on it’s beloved Main Street. The environment is what is expected of an upscale Wine bar. High chair tables, a small stage with live music, an outside area for larger parties. Indeed, my first impressions were good and was excited for a pleasant night with the Wife. Our server, a young man, was expedient and polite. He didn’t linger, made sure our drinks were always full, and checked frequently to make sure we were okay. This, my friends, was the best part of the experience, for the rest of night was painfully average. The live music was a couple amateur guitarist whose microphones were too loud. I’m okay with average musicians, in fact I find them comforting, but when the small and comforting location with a romantic atmosphere is interrupted by having to scream over your musician in order to hold a conversation, I get annoyed. The best time of the night was when in-between sets my wife and I were finally able to enjoy our drinks and a conversation. My wife and I both ordered the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo, a $ 13.00 dollar dish we were excited for. Upon arrival of the dish, we realize that the portions are for children. I thought for $ 13.00 i’d be getting a heck of a lot more food than I actually got. Overall, the dish was too salty, the chicken was dry and ultimately lacked flavor. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish, or maybe I caught it on a weird night, but I do not recommend. In conclusion, 121 On Main is having an identity crisis. The overall décor of the restaurant is excellent and offer fantastic service, but the loud music and ill-conceived food proved too distracting and disappointing in what I felt was supposed to be a quiet place to bring a date.

Still pretty new, and I remember it when it was craves, but this bar is the bees knees. If your looking for an upscale wine bar then this is your ticket. They even have japanese ice balls that Ryan(great server) will make for you and your whiskey on the rock(s) Tried their thin crust margarita pizza with no cheese, added jalapeño and mushroom, the best. Plain and simple. Loved how thin the crust is. I thouroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back for sure.

A quaint little place in round rock. Not much space, so better get there early(especially on weekend nights). Great drinks and a somewhat limited menu, but the food is also fantastic. To top things off, they have live entertainment which was excellent the night we were there. Overall a great little gem in downtown round rock.

The Happy Hour pricing is reasonable. $ 5 for truffle fries, flatbread pizzas and nachos. All pretty good. However, the drinks are underwhelming and the wine selections are lacking. No more wine flights, what??? Please bring back cheese boards and up your wine game. This is RR and the housewives need to get their grape on.

I love the Mediterranean pizza here. You feel like you are eating healthy and actually I think we are… Sun dried tomatos, fresh spinach grilled chicken on a crisp thin flat bread drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with feta… Heaven with a pint of revolver draft and a nice breeze. I really really like it here!

Very nice atmosphere. Great martini’s and other sipping drinks. A little quieter than most — perfect for conversation, like on date night with your special someone. We’ve been there several times over the past month. Love this place. They had a small band one evening. Service was great — very attentive and friendly. Felt like a quality neighborhood bar.

Great food and ambiance. Newest kid on the block in downtown Round Rock and I give it my vote for best place for evening fun.
