Round Lake, IL
Probably my favorite grocery store in the neighborhood. The place is bright and festive and just full of all sorts of goodies. From authentic Mexican food to herbs to cheeses and sweets, this place has everything you need for the good life. My favorite part is the little restaurant in the back. The staff is friendly and helpful (Especially Homer!)
They cook tacos, burritos, chiles rellenos and all sorts of other Mexican delights fresh in the deli for you and you can sit in back and eat. It’s quite a little undiscovered gem in this neighborhood.
