Check your take out order before you leave because when they mess up and you call back and tell them they say they forgot one of the dinners you ordered they write your info in a book for a refund but when you go in for your refund a few months later because you don’t eat out every week they have no idea of said book with all your info in it.

2^nd time I have come here and sorry not worth it. I love Comales in the city but this is the 2^nd time I have come here and the taco meat-​steak has been so over cooked it is crunchy. Sorry but fresh does not mean semi cooked meat sitting on the side of the grill waiting for me to order it.

Their barbacoa tacos are good. In fact all of their tacos are very good except for one. Unless you like tons of seeds in your chile relleno tacos, you would love this place. Pure laziness not to remove them (and all of the skin from the peppers) before breading and frying them
Burritos are just OK. Nothing special. For better burritos and chile relleno tacos, go to Tacos El Norte instead. I would recommend this place for their tacos alone

Great Mexican food from a guy that grew up on it in San Diego. Good prices for the amount of food that they serve. Never had a bad meal when we have come here.

Their chicken tacos and horchata are to die for, and the eat-​in service is always quite nice. They often include free carrots/​peppers/​cauliflower with meals as well. This is one of the few Mexican food establishments that I can eat the rice and beans from without thinking of them as salty pudding.
The only downside is when it comes to ordering, there is often a difficult language barrier when ordering, which makes us use this establishment less than we would otherwise.

I am a huge fan of Mexican food and this local place had the most authentic food I’ve had in a while. The place is exactly as you’d expect a smaller Mexican restaurant to be: Good customer service, clean, smells great, and incredible food.
We only had a short time to eat but tried one of each of the tacos. We probably waited 2 minutes before a beautiful platter of smaller tacos hit our table. We didn’t even know where to start but the variety will suit everyone’s taste buds!
Our favorites included Pork with onions, Seasoned steak, Marinated chicken, Chorizo, and Al Pastor. They were perfect sized but packed full of flavor. I love a Mexican restaurant that serves chips and authentic salsa at each table as well as the pickled Jalapeño, carrots, and veggies.
Our server was extremely helpful and explained the choices to us with great patience.

Our waitress was more focused on talking to her friends than serving us. Another waitress had to step in and take our orders.
Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all.
Ordered water with lemons– got water with limes…
Waitress didnt refill waters at all and neglected us entirely after the other waitress took our orders.
Food was excellent, but the service was awful.
We will not be returning here.

Pretty much the same as all the other restaurants of this local Chicago chain, mini tacos served at full price of varying quality nothing exceptional but nothing horrible. as far as restaurants go, it’s not really a very exciting place.

Love the lengua and tripas (both well season and tender) the steak was on the dryer side compare to the lengua and tripas and they have a great deal to feed 4 – 5 people and best of all it comes with horchata… two pitchers. I will say you have to get their rice because it is simple and yet you cannot stop eating it.

Their food is good the delivery service is not good I live a few min down the road and they always get lost and forgot stuff

My biggest pet peeve is walking into a restaurant, not being greeted, having no idea where to go. This seems to be common in the area though. I guess you just seat yourself and wait for a server to being you a menu over.
I opted for Tacos de Lengua and they were out not even 5 minutes after I ordered. They even came out before my drink! I’m not sure why my drink took that long considering it was was a Pepsi, but I forgot all about that as soon as I bit into my first taco! The meat was tender and the tortillas very soft! It literally just melted in my mouth. It was amazing! I was extremely pleased with my meal and the prices are extremely reasonable!

Very casual, classic Mexican restaurant.
My husband & I ordered the streak fajitas. They were good — where they the best I ever had. no, but I would certainly get again. I will certainly be back to try some other items.
There was a large amount of meat too for the price!
The service was efficient and speedy. Didn’t have to wait long for the meal either.

If there’s one thing you can count on around Round Lake is good Mexican food.
The chicken here is outstanding. I’m getting it every time I come here now. The steak is pretty good. Portions and price seem to both be fair. It’s only $ 1.25 to add rice and beans, so you should absolutely add them!
The salsas with the chips are good, but the chips taste packaged and are room temp. I prefer chips made on site and warmed, but maybe that’s just me.
The décor looks like it was a school class painting project and it actually adds some style. Staff was very friendly and the the food was at our table in 6 – 7 minutes.
Overall a really nice and reasonably priced place.

I found this a very awesome surprise out here. Everything was delicious and fresh, the service was fast and friendly. They have some of the best variations on the taco fillings, great burritos and perfect Horchata. Try it if passing by, It is some of the best in the Burbs.

I have found it very difficult to locate good mexican food in the North West Suburbs. This is not only good, but they deliver! My experience was amazing customer service and great food (Carne as ada fantastic!). This will be a weekend ritual for me :)

I dined alone and was given a huge basket of chips and two salsas. Both were awesome and one was super spicy.
I ordered three tacos and they were done in two minutes literally so hot from the grill they had to cool down. Awesome fast service. I had the tacos especial, one steak, one al pastor, and another barbacoa. They have an awesome selection of meats available. I thought the barbacoa was top notch and very flavorful.
At $ 2 dollars a taco with free chips and salsa how can one pass up that kinda value. The taco sauces were fresh too. The inside was clean but simple.
Hope my next visit is this great.

Amazing custom margarita! I told the server to make me the best tasting and strongest margarita he’s made to date and boy did he deliver! The tacos are authentic, yummy!

This newly opened restaurant boosts fast delivery, delicious food, and heavy quacamole portions. In this Unilocalper’s opinion, a perfect combination for the «go-​to» when you’re feeling Mexican.
Price is dead on, the restaurant itself feels very ordinary, and that’s okay. Exposed condiments and serving trays line one side of the dining area.
Overall, add this to you’re favorite «typical» eat in/​carry out.

Good flavor, love the grilled onions and jalapeños. Tried the lengua and tripas. The Comales taco tray is the best deal for 4 – 5 people.
