Im going to be very honest, usually the food is good but the wait is terrible. They will make you wait at least 20 or 25 minutes and if you go with company watch out they are going to bring the plates in a very different time up to 20 minutes apart. I had been canceling my order at least 3 times. Bad bad service :((

Best Mexican food in the area! We are here about once a week. The pastor is our favorite! Chicken is great also. The complimentary soup is the best! Some of the servers are great and others need a little work!

Great service & Great Food … Always a good choice when taking a day off the kitchen.

I have been here twice now, and both times the food was amazing. Real authentic Mexican food prepared with care. When I walk in the door of ANY ethnic restaurant, whether I stay or go depends on the appearance of the clientele there. When over ¾ of the customers are Hispanic in a Mexican restaurant, you know it’s going to be good.
However, the service can be a little slow and lacking. They seat you immediately and come back in a timely manner to take your order. Your food even comes out reasonably quick. The thing you wait for though is the drink replenishing. I like to have a drink always as I eat. If my drink is empty for more than 5 minutes, you’re too slow. Beer me.

My husband and I went here for his birthday, and thought it was pretty good. The service was good, we got refills of chips, salsa, and water in a very timely fashion; and our food was brought out relatively quickly considering how busy they were at the time.
I got a steak taco dinner and my husband had Bistec a la Mexicana, which was kind like steak fajitas on a plate. Both of our dinners were very tasty, and I would say they had some of my favorite tacos that I’ve had in awhile (and I eat a lot of steak tacos). This place is worth checking out if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Deeeelicious food!!! Service was also good! My husband’s favorite is the steak taco. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken quesadillas. I have also experienced the tacos and agree. The best I’ve had. Authentic food and reasonably priced.

Horrible food, we just moved here and I looked at the Unilocal reviews and decided to try this restaurant. I got a chicken quesadilla, which I couldn’t eat because it was soggy and not grilled well, my dad got a chicken burrito and found a huge hairs and a bone in it .it was expensive, unsanitary and bad quality of meat .I don’t recommend this place.

Tried their rotisserie chicken once … Nothing to go back for and after the experience my boss had a couple of weeks ago, I will never be there again. Hair on food and roaches crawling, wait staff killing the roach with no care in the world. Not sure why this place is open for business?

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I’ve been coming here since it opened and it has just been going down hill. There are a couple waitresses that are good. The rest of them are horrible. The food is now hit or miss. I have to admit that most of the time it’s good. The real problem is the staff. I have been overcharged there 3 times! I don’t know if it is on purpose but I’m starting to think it is. Every time I order carry out, the order is messed up. Not only that, they have forgotten things that I have ordered twice. I love this place but I don’t know that I can do it anymore. It’s a shame. Hope they either train their staff better or just clean house.

The best tasting and tender «carne Tampiquena» and the frozen margaritas are the best!

Great Mexican food but service is S L O W.
Their complimentary salsa is soooo good. You will be pleased with their delicious entrees and their generous portions. My personal favorite is the chicken enchiladas Verdes. I can never finish it so I have leftovers (which heat up well).
For those who want a Margarita or a Mexican Beer, they have a full bar. You would be amazed how much of their business involves carry out business so if you cannot dine in, you can you order for a pick up.
This is a sister restaurant to Rancho Nueva.
— Their menus look identical.
— They are both located on the same street (just miles apart)
— Lomelli’s has it’s own parking lot but Rancho has street parking with some parking at the rear of the restaurant.
— The meals at Lomelli’s are made slightly better than at Rancho
— But the service at Lomelli’s is inconsistent. We usually have to look for our server for a drink refill or the check. However the staff at Rancho are very attentive.
I find myself telling others about Lomelli’s often because I think their Mexican meals are so good.

My favorite restaurant seems to be going down. Saddens me greatly. I’ve been coming here since opening. This morning was just a sad experience. Shit, my last couple visits have been a bad experience. The interior of the place is falling apart. Seats on the booths are all ripped. The bathroom is disastrous. The tables are wobbly. I mean I can get over that kind of stuff if the food makes up for it. It didn’t.
When I arrived this morning with my children there was only one other table being waited on. We were greeted. And we chose our seats. We ordered drinks. It took 15 minutes (no joke or exaggeration) to receive four drinks. My children’s horchata was perky sweetened with clumps a griddy powder floating around. When she brought our drinks I noticed our table was super wobbly. Our drinks were spilling over any time we moved the waitress saw this and offered no resolution. Therefore I got on my hands and knees with napkins to fix it. While they looked on.
I ordered torta Milanesa. The meat was severely over seasoned and salty. My daughters tacos were alright. Spent $ 25 there today for food, service, and seating that wasn’t worth it.
Get your shit together guys! You had one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The owner needs to get his Ass in there and get this done!

Hubby ordered Grilled chicken– it was good (came out in literally one minute so it’s obviously pre-​cooked)
I didn’t ever get the meal I ordered
I reminded the waitress and it still wasn’t served. 30 minutes later we asked for the bill.
The cook made 12 take out orders, all lined up to go and no meals went out to in restaurant patrons.
I’d try this place again if I was in a VERY patient mood.

Food is great. Service is terrible!
Parking is ok. Price is normal. Kid friendly.
I can make my own food at home. If I am paying to be at a restaurant, I expect good or even average service not snobby waitresses or waiting and waiting to be seated, or could they at least tell me I can seat myself.

Service is always slow, and some servers struggle with English — just know that going in.
The food is outstanding — the chips/​salsa/​guac is a great start… the spicy chicken noodle soup is delicious… rotisserie chicken is amazing… everything is good!

First time here. Will definitely be back. This place is awesome. The food is super authentic and the service is swift and friendly. My wife had tacos and I had the Cemita Milanesa and they we both fantastic. The salsa and tortillas you get when you first sit down are fresh and delicious. And the small bowl of soup is a nice touch.
Kudos. They are doing it right.

The food is outstanding. I’ve tried just about half the menu and have never once been disappointed. The chicken is delicious and seasoned just right. The guacamole has enough cilantro to make me happy. The tortillas are always perfectly cooked, unlike other places I’ve been to. I’m even a fan of their green salsa, which normally I dislike. And, everything is reasonably priced.
The only reason I’m not giving them five stars is their service. After the more than a dozen times that I’ve been here, I have never once been greeted and I still have zero idea as to whether I’m supposed to wait to be seated or seat myself. It also smells slightly strange inside. We’ve come close, but have never actually stayed to eat. Although they are not mean, the servers come off as very rude to non Spanish speaking patrons. They are almost obnoxiously more warmer to Hispanic patrons. I’m sure it’s due to the language barrier, you can tell they are trying to help.

Outstanding, Authentic Mexican Food
We tried this place for the first time based on my son’s girlfriend recommendation. She told us that the owners of another favorite Mexican restaurant (Rancho Nuevo) of ours is the owners of Lomeli’s Rosticeria. She also told us in her opinion that Lomeli’s is better because it is more authentic Mexican food. Who am I to argue with her?
The place is located just a couple of miles north of Rancho Nuevo. We came here on a Sunday evening and the place wasn’t too busy but there were a couple of groups enjoying themselves. We grabbed an available booth and waiting for our waitress.
I already knew that I wanted a couple of steak tacos and a beer. I ordered my tacos with onion and cilantro. My wife knew what wanted so we were ready to order right away. As we waited for our meals they brought us our drinks, chips and salsa. The salsa was really good and had a little heat to it. They also brought us a small bowl of soup which I didn’t eat because I didn’t want to get too full.
When my tacos arrived and I couldn’t believe how much steak was inside of them. The steak was so abundant that it was overflowing the shells holding it all together. The tacos were very hot so I had to wait about a couple of seconds before I attempted to stuff this thing in my mouth. I’m telling you with no reservations that this place knows how to make tacos. The meat was tender and flavorful. My meal also came with rice and re-​fried beans. The rice was really fresh and good and the beans tasted like they made them that day.
Lastly I have to mention the staff. We had our server who was on top of her game anticipating every one of our needs. I think that every server that was on the evening stopped by to check in on us. So what I’m trying to say is that the staff is 5 stars at taking care of their customer.
This place is a winner in my books and we are glad that we tried it out.

Hidden little gem! The staff is super friendly, the food is amazingly delicious and it is cheaper to eat here than it is at Burger King! My fiancé thought it was funny that for five bucks he got a whole half a chicken, beans, rice, salad, and tortillas. Not to mention the chips and salsa they give you first! Love love love this place :)
Honestly, the only negative thing about this place is that you seat yourself so its kind of confusing and if you order out you wait foreeevvveerrr. I can deal with that though!

This hidden Mexican restaurant is one of my favorites when it comes to Mexican food. All the wait staff and cook staff is Hispanic which tells you it’s authentic. On this occasion I had the Carne Asada Cemitas. It has a slight burn which is not overbearing. The avocado, Oaxaca cheese, refries beans, and homemade Chipotle sauce combination is outstanding!!! If you’re hungry for Mexican food, get some here!
