On Tapa the World

I really like the empanadas! The Asian BBQ pork empanadas are my favorite! The cheeseburger empanadas and Buffalo chicken empanadas are great too! They are served hot! I will definitely eat here again! Thanks ffor participating in Gwinnett Super Food Truck Sunday! I look forward to seeing On Tapa The World next Sunday!

I got a veggie empenada ($ 6) and the patatas ($ 4) at the Yellow Daisy Festival this past weekend. The food was fresh and hot, and the temperature was hot, so I might not have chosen the best combination. Everything was flavorful, though. There was lots of garlic in with the spinach and cheese and creaminess. I would have cut back on the spices on the patatas; I didn’t expect it to be as spicy as it was. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and plenty starchy. I wouldn’t pay $ 4 for them again. I don’t think the portion you get nor the quality is worth it; they’re just regular fried and spiced potato chunks.

Looking at their menu online, I definitely want to give this place another shot! The girl taking orders during the busy lunch hour was very pleasant, and the guys shouting out names and passing out the food from the truck were nice, too. Seems like a quality business.
