Hubby had a mandatory meeting in Atlanta this past week & I decided 2 join him. WRONGTHING2DO! His company booked the hotel but I wouldn’t have if I were spending my own money. The man at front desk was a bit awkward. With us being from GA we have manners but we would speak to him just in passing & he wouldn’t part his lips. Just would stare at us. CONS: The bed was LUMPY& hard as a rock; they had laminate hardwood floor in the room so there was a constant draft; toilet seat was raggedy & peeling; holes in the Sheetrock in the bathroom; ants in room; tub needed to be refinished b/c it felt like you were standing on small rocks while in the shower PROS: location — restaurants were in walking distance Don’t waste your time or money.

Perhaps the best room I’ve stayed in for some time. I had a very pleasant experience at the Roswell Suites, and this is considering that they were going through the process of renovating the hotel. I was visiting from California for a seminar and found the Roswell Suites. Everyone there was gracious and friendly. They are currently finishing up their renovations, so some of the areas such as e lounge and fitness room were unavailable. I could tell by the construction that it’s going to look great when it’s finished. At no time did the work they were doing interrupt my stay. My room was very nicely furnished. Since I work in the lighting industry, I must say that the fixtures were beatific in my room. Also, it was very spacious. I had more room than I knew what to do with. The refrigerator was empty, so it was great to store things I bought nearby. The complimentary breakfast was filled with all sorts of things to start my morning off right. You can make your own waffles, cereal, or just grab some coffee and a pastry. Fruit is available as well as other offerings I have forgotten. The Peachtree Diner is a three minute walk from the hotel, so I enjoyed having it so close. From this location at the hotel, it is easy to get around town. There’s a CVS right across the street if you need anything as well. You will the comfort and quiet of the Roswell Suites as I did. I look forward to visiting again next year.

Booked for 5 nights while we were getting my son into college in Marietta. The website does not mention that the hotel is currently undergoing MAJOR construction. The reception area is in the back, on folding tables. The staff were very nice but I think they forgot they are running a hotel with guests! We seemed invisible to them. It seemed like they couldn’t care less whether we were there or not. Nowhere to sit outside while we were waiting for our son — my husband went looking through all the plastic covering the«lobby» and found some chairs and brought them out. Dust everywhere. Rooms were clean but bathroom weird. No sink in bathroom but rather in a recess near the beds. Will never use again. I’d rather pay more for the Double Tree down the street.

Awful! Just awful hotel, do NOT stay here. Staff is extremely rude and walls are so thin that I was woken up at 4AM by a bunch of noise in the hallway. This hotel is terrible and the staff never attends to you and has their nose so stuck up in the air that they can’t possibly help you. BEWAREOFTHISPLACE!!! Also this place’s plumbing was terrible! My bath tub and sink NEVER drained it was disgusting. If I could give no stars id give no stars. Usually I’m pretty lenient with places but no place could make up for thin walls and a lousy staff.

Stayed here for three nights. One of the day’s my room was not cleaned and I had to ask to have it done two times to two separate people because it STILL was not getting done. The vending machines/ice machines do not work on any of the floors(there are only 3 floors) except the main floor, however, only SOME of the vending machines work on this level. Very disappointing when you have been traveling from NJ to GA and just simply want a bottle of water(because that isn’t provided in the room either) after dealing with a chaotic airport. Pool outside was dirty the whole time. Rooms most definitely need an upgrade. My bathroom sink and mirror was not in the bathroom, it was outside the door which I found really weird. Very noisy during the day, I assume they are renovating but I could not relax during the day whatsoever. Oh yea, computers provided downstairs were not working the entire time as well. Nothing works here.

Very thin walls and noisy hotel. They had to move my room twice. Hotel manager is very rude. I went to holiday inn next door instead.

I had a whole week of meetings to attend at Roswell and traffic in Atlanta isn’t exactly wonderful especially at rush hour traffic in the mornings. Instead of driving over three different highways from home to Roswell, getting a hotel was a better solution to fighting the morning traffic madness. Therefore, I’m glad Roswell Suites Hotel is conveniently located close to where I need to go. It is tucked away behind Holiday Inn Hotel and close to Olive Gardens restaurant and a Sushi restaurant. Peachtree Diners is also closeby if you like to dine near the hotel. There are lots of space for parking and I parked near the outdoor swimming pool where I can see my car from the room. The lot was well lit and it was quiet as well during the Christmas season. The front lobby was beautifully decorated with Christmas ornaments and the tall Christmas tree in the center was stunning. Adjacent to the front desk, there’s a sitting room with a fireplace. Very nice touch for guests to sit and enjoy the warmth from the fireplace. At the breakfast room, there’s a flat screen television to catch the weather and morning news. The hotel room was clean even though it’s an older hotel. The king size bed was comfortable and the heater near the window worked well. Do not look at the thermostat on the wall because it was not operable. There was a telephone, an alarm clock and a reading lamp near the bed. The bathroom facilities was all operable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The towels were clean and there was a little toiletries corner where daily facial soap, bath soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap and make-up remover sachet was provided. A hair dryer on the wall was a nice addition. There was a sitting area with a sofa, chair and a small coffee table to enjoy if you like. The flat screen tv has basic cable from Charter Communications. Inside the closet, there were many hangers. I was very happy to see an ironing board with an iron provided. I do not think the iron turns off by itself after using it. Please be sure to unplug the iron after you’re done with it, for safety issues. There was continental breakfast provided from 6 am to 9 am each morning. I enjoyed the hard boiled eggs, waffles, 3 kinds of dry cereals with milk, an assortment of muffins, bagels, mini sausage biscuits, yogurt, refrigerated fruits, bananas, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, hot tea and water. This was the value added service and I appreciated it. There was also a conference room, an exercise room, a room with computer and fax machine and a vending machine if you like to use them. The staff was friendly and courteous. I had requested a room with a small refrigerator and my room had one. I do not know if the refrigerator is in every room but it was nice to have one. Housekeeping did a great job in replenishing the toiletries and clean towels each day. If I am here in summer months, next time I can use the swimming pool and hot tub just outside the room. The quality of the amenities and services for the price of the room was excellent, compared to the surrounding hotels in the heart of Roswell. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with a budget in mind and I would return as a hotel guest again. Simply look out for me at the hot tub next time. Unilocal #82

Awful. Had no chair for my disabled mother to take a shower. Isn’t that against ADA standards? Refused to refund our second night even when we checked out to change hotels with functioning disability access. Neither of the automatic disability doors were in working order either. Filthy furniture. You’re also wedged between a Taco Bell, Olive Garden, and Chinese Buffet so enjoy 8 hours of fart smell.

The rooms aren’t bad, but the management is rude and ignorant. The housekeeping department is a joke. And, their overall customer service is deplorable. We had booked a block of rooms for a wedding, and on top of all the other crap we went through with this hotel, someone at the front desk stole the Chick-Fil-A coupons included in our welcome bags(which were for our wedding guests) . Overall, it’s fine for a night, and a cheap place to stay, but I wouldn’t recommend for a weekend getaway, and certainly not for a wedding block.

This used to be a Best Western, some of the branding is still present. It was cheap, relatively quiet(except in the morning), and pretty decent. Older, but clean and everything worked, including the wifi. Bed comfy. Shower serviceable. The employees aren’t exactly what I’d call friendly. One star above Meh.

This is the nicest Best Western I’ve stayed at about a month and a half ago in mid-April. Nice, comfortable, clean rooms. VERY clean hotel! Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond with their service. There’s a conference room(I don’t remember if it’s one or two), a computer room(for those of you who don’t have a laptop with you), a 24-hr fitness center, and outdoor swimming pool. I definately made use of the fitness center and computer room. The previous Unilocaler states that they didn’t have free shampoo or conditioner(back in 2007). In my room, there was free shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body soap, face soap, and even a shower cap. If you ran out, you could simply go to the reception area and they’ll be happy to give you more. They also have a few extra travel items such as razors, tooth brush, toothpaste, etc incase you don’t have some. The continental breakfast was a large variety including: cereals, juices, pop, waffles, bagels, muffins, donuts, yogurts, fruits, and I can’t remember if there was more. We signed up for the rewards card, which allows you to get a free night after you’ve stayed 2 nights at another participating location(the 2 nights don’t have to be consecutive, or at the same location either). I was very pleased with this hotel and if I’m ever in the area again I will definately be staying here.

I picked this place because it was cheap and I didn’ t know what the corporate policy on hotel fees was yet. I was glad to have a bed, but this hotel is defintely for budget travellers. The carpet/paint combo was done in burgundy and forest green medallion carpet with tan colored walls. The side door to the hotel that should have worked with room card access didn’t work at all. Once you went out that door, you had to walk all the way around the hotel to get back in. The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous, and I have no complaints there. Their free continental breakfast was more like a finger food grab it while you can. They had make your own waffles, and had individually wrapped english muffins, cornbread, and bagles. They had 4 types of dry cereal that were in dispensers in the lobby at all hours of the day. When it wasn’t breakfast time, they put a little cover over the cereal hopper to cover it up. This place was very no frills– Folgers coffee with breakfast, and no free shampoo/conditioners either. I had to go over to the CVS pharmacy that is right next door to get those. That quart ziploc baggie is only so big, and I assumed that I’d get shampoo at the hotel. *wrong* I didn’t feel especially safe at this hotel after dark — the parking lot of the hotel joined with that of an Olive Garden, and there was a Taco Bell nearby. It was just a mile or so East to a Publix — I was glad to find the grocery store when I went to find dinner on the first night in town.
