It’s convenient like others have said. It’s an older building and the landlord doesn’t let her upgrade. She’s moving as of 28 Aug 2014. Lynn did just fine with my manicure. I needed something quick and that’s what I got. Lynn is very nice. Don’t mind the construction.

This place unfortunately turned out as I expected based on the other reviews. Not very clean and not any type of special treatment for hands. I went just because it was next to my office and I needed my nails done for a wedding the next day. Pros were they took me without an appointment and Lynn the owner was nice. Cons were my lady didn’t Spall amy English so if war hard to tell bet want I wanted and then she did a pretty careless job and gave me one of the worst manicures I’ve seen :(I won’t go back even if I am in a crunch in the future

I had a great mani-pedi here, probably the best I have had. I actually searched this place out on Unilocal to come back to. I originally did a walk in and although the place was not the cleanest and it was small but my technician did an amazing job on mani-pedi and eye brow arch so much so that Saturday is my birthday and I am going back.

Don’t go here if you value your limbs– this looks like a hotbed for gangrene. They definitely don’t sanitize any of their equipment, let alone sweep their floor. Only do the $ 7 polish change(and don’t let them touch you with any files or clippers) if you’re absolutely desperate, but don’t expect a lot. Worst polish selection I’ve ever seen. You can choose between a couple of 20 year old yellowing light pinks, a few browns, neon orange, or neon green.

Although my mani/pedi was OKAY, these ladies had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Firstly, the place is a scrap. They do not clean up after themselves at all, and worse, they do not clean their equipment. The ladies did not know enough about their services(one of them told me not to shower with the gel manicure, while her boss whispered to me later«don’t listen to her, she doesn’t know what she’s talking about). THAT made me feel SO much better. I will never, ever, ever, ever(did I say ever?) go back here again. Not even out of desperation.

This was quite literally, the worst manicure I have ever gotten, including ones I’ve given myself– all jacked up on redbull, with my non-dominant hand, while driving. The salon itself was dingy and sloppy. The lady that did my nails was nice enough– she just SUCKS at her job. I’m guessing the only reason they are still open is bc they’re so close to Rosslyn metro– that they catch enough unsuspecting foot traffic to keep the power on. Run– don’t walk– away!!!

i’ve been here almost 4years. but last time i went there waxing my eyebrow. but the lady working there she just waxing all my eyebrow. i’m asking her why did you waxing like that. then she told me. that what she can do like this. i was so conned. then she screaming at me like get out of my salon like that. next day i went there trying to talk manager Fwang. cuz i cant go out without my eyebrow, even when i’m going out i’m wearing hat, trying to covering my face. Ms Fwang saw my eyebrow she said OMG whats happening… i said yeah… ur worker did it to me. then she told me she gonna give me gift card 250 $. Then she gonna give me that gift card 50 $, 50 $ like 5 time. then she just give me 1 time. after i’m using my 1st gift card then asking next one, she told me she never said that gift card she give me 250 $. EVEN my eyebrow’s one side is still not growing. so i recommended: LADIES this place is so dangerous, they make you looks ugly, they can ruin ur beauty. when they are ruin ur face they just screaming at you and they gonna kick you out.

This place is convenient and I have always gotten good, quick service during lunchtime. Not sure what others are complaining about — it’s one of the better manicures I’ve gotten… I also tend towards gel nails for more info on that. Fawn is especially nice, and will take an appointment for you same day if you call ahead. The facilities could be better, but the services are inexpensive and thorough. There is a $ 10 minimum on tips made through credit card so don’t forget cash for that.

I started coming her for convenience but come back for the friendly atmosphere. Fawn keeps my eyebrows looking nice. I don’t have time for mani/pedi like I used to but Lan has a great touch. It’s a small shop, it’s not the best for décor or frills but in the heart of Rosslyn it does great. I keep going back because they know me by name now and it’s great to get that type of reception.

Home of the 10 minute manicure! This was such a disappointment. $ 15 manicure — cheap, sure. But frankly, for what I got, I’d rather have done it myself than waste $ 15. The guy who did me was basically going through the motions via rote memorization. I swipe the file here twice, I push the cuticle thingy 3 times — does it matter if it has any effect? No. My cuticles were barely pushed back, my nails were rough where they should have been filed smooth. The massage was a joke — it was basically smearing on lotion. The polish job was sloppy. The base polish was old and crusty and clumpy. No attention to detail whatsoever. The place had no ambiance and the people weren’t friendly so I can’t think up one endearing quality about this place. Here’s my fave though. I brought my own polish — a brand new, unopened bottle of Chanel nailpolish. We’re talking like… a $ 30 bottle. He applies one layer of color which came out thick, and then without even asking or forewarning me he pours something INTOTHEBOTTLE, presumably some remover or something to thin it down. And maybe he was right, maybe it didn’t hurt it, maybe he knew what he was doing. But SERIOUSLY? You’re attempting to improve upon Chanel nailpolish and you’re not even going to ask me first? Meanwhile it’s been 2 days and I already have chips(any resilience of this manicure I attribute to Chanel, not to Lynn’s) which probably could have been avoided if he had taken time to put color on the edges like a good manicurist but he didn’t. My friend went with and had a similarly underwhelming experience. What I really don’t understand is why they had to give us such a rush job. There were four people working there, 2 of us, and no other customers in the joint. There was no NEED to rush is out in 10 minutes. They could have taken the time to do a quality job and make us want to come back but it’s like it didn’t even occur to them. Honestly, what a pointless business. The pedicures are $ 30…and that ain’t cheap. Boy am I glad I didn’t spend the money for that because it doubtless would have been equally pointless.
