Z-Z-Zip!

I love Z-​z-​zip! This place is truly unique; the land is unbelievably beautiful, the course is exciting, and the guides and owners are so kind and caring that they make you feel like family.
The course is nestled in amongst the mountains along the French Broad River, so you get to walk across this awesome bridge to get onto the Zip property. Once you’re there, you feel like you’re in a private little paradise, with gardens, flowers, vegetables and wildflower fields all around you. The zip course is built through the forest, above the rhododendron canopy, and it takes you along the river, so you get to see amazing views while you’re up in the sky (which is so awesome!). The total course has all different types of zips in between platforms built up in the trees; some zips are fast, some are long and more luxurious– they are all really fun and feel very safe. (The Z-​z-​zip people, Lois, Carl and Nathan, are with you every step of the way, making sure you’re comfortable… they really know their stuff and are so friendly.) I have done it a few times and I have a blast each time I go! It is so much fun!
But during my last visit to Z-​z-​zip, my boyfriend and I stayed in their new treehouse-​style cabin and had the most wonderful time! It was so peaceful to go to sleep to the sound of the river, and to wake up in the middle of nature. The cabin is secluded and private, with a bed and deck and lots of windows. It’s simple, comfortable and relaxing– we had a fantastic stay.

Not only was this place full of fun and unique zip lines, but their customer service is top notch! The guides are friendly, safe, and knowledgeable, and as first time zip liners, my wife and our friends felt very comfortable under their wing. This was definitely a highlight of our recent trip to Brevard.
