Got the pulled pork sliders as suggested in another post. Delicious. I don’t like Cole slaw but theirs was yummy. Only negative was super slow food service. Only one table ahead of us with 2 people and our food took nearly 30 min.

Best veggie burger I’ve had on the west coast and I’m not even a vegetarian! When I saw it had a sweet onion and curry sauce I was intrigued. I’m allergic to mushrooms but preemptively took an allergy pill and I’m glad I did!

I’m slightly afraid to give this place this 5 star review, because Washington’s population is exploding and I want Roslyn and the Roslyn café to stay the same for years to come… once people know that there are less busy, remote, amazing places… they flood in. And poof. Traffic on main street. Red lights all around.(Roslyn/Ronald don’t have any red lights yet) BUT, the RC deserves some serious props. The quality of the food is astounding. It’s completely unexpected. Being from Seattle, I have seen many restaurants slip in quality lately. «So many people come in, we must be doing something right!» *Cough* McMenamins Anderson School *cough* Wrong! However, is a smaller place where you can tell the food makers actually care. This is by far my favorite food place of anywhere. I really hope it stays the same.

This place seriously has thee best burgers anywhere. And I love burgers! I get so tired of going to other restaurants and getting those frozen patties as my burger. Not this place! Hand formed large grass fed juicy burgers with spring greens on them. Love the mushroom and Brie burger, the classic, and the smokestack. Yum. And what makes it even better? The Parmesan fries! Seriously thee best fries. Anywhere. Nothing bad to say about this place!

Roslyn Café is a delight. The staff is extremely friendly. Although Unilocal says they are open until 9pm, they close at 8pm in the fall/winter. We walked in around 7:55pm, and they insisted we stay. The food was tasty, the beer was cold, and the ambiance was adorable. A great choice for dinner in Roslyn. Don’t forget to check out their hand drawn drink menu, it is charming.

Two words — scratch kitchen! I went into Roslyn café with my family of four. The Verde burger was spicy,(not too spicy) with a full round flavor. My daughter had a bbq pork slider on a pretzel roll which was also remarkable. Even the ranch on my side salad was made from scratch. Our server was sassy and responsive. We would frequent this place if it were in our neighborhood.

On our drive home from Leavenworth we made a side trip to this café and I was incredibly impressed. Fun to be in the town of Northern Exposure but I was not expecting them to deliver as they did in the taste department. The food was better than anything we’d had in Leavenworth(and that IS saying something, since L is much-improved these days in the their food choices). But still, Roslyn Café had a great vibe and the food was creative and oh-so tasty. An unexpected and most delicious surprise. Going back next time we’re passing through.

We loved our short visit in Roslyn. It’s worth a stop on your road trip. We were brought there for the Northern Exposure fans with us but enjoyed it nonetheless. The Café is delicious. We started with(large) side salads that had a homemade vinaigrette dressing.(Always a good thing) — then shared the burgers. The pulled pork is delicious(we had it on top of our burger). This is a must try place with great dining atmosphere.

For a small town that you wouldn’t expect to find much in this place definitely surprised me. It had to be one of our favorite breakfasts we had in awhile. It was small and cozy. Staff was friendly and fun to talk to. It is a place I will definitely try again when I return to the area.

Ordered food to go from this restaurant and we were very pleased. Service was friendly and the food was very good. We ordered a cheeseburger and a kid’s chicken strips meal. Both were excellent and we’d recommend giving this restaurant a try. Dine-in seems very quaint and comfortable. The service was quick on our to-go order.

We were driving from the Tri-cities back to home on Whidbey and decided to do a side trip to Roslyn and have lunch. The café is tiny, the mural outside know to anyone who watched Northern Exposure back in the 90s. The important part, the food is amazing. This is slow food, if you are in a hurry, go somewhere else. I ordered the vegan burger and it was divine; the fries, crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside — perfect. Husband had a beef burger and it was done beautifully. The local brew is nice, light and a perfect accompaniment to a very good lunch. Got a vegan burger to go for our vegan daughter and, even though she has severe motion sickness, she is willing to do the trip to Roslyn to eat. It is that good.

We came here in search for breakfast on Christmas morning while staying at a nearby hotel. It was literally the only business in the area open, which wasn’t totally surprising. What was awesome was how great the service was — there seemed to be a few regulars at the bartop, but no one else was really there. All we wanted for Christmas was a good breakfast — nothing fancy — and this bar delivered. The sausage gravy was AMAZING — maybe the best we’ve ever tried anywhere. Definitely coming back here the next time we’re in town!

I debated on the star rating for this place. I might go 3.5. Might not. And perhaps it deserves another visit to be certain… It had been, I realized, years since the last time I’d visited to Roslyn. Suncadia wasn’t open, and Roslyn still had the«Roslyn’s» from Northern Exposure days. It’s been redone inside, as well, and I’m guessing the menu is new compared to back then. So, I was there with a friend New Year’s day. This is a reason I’m saying it may take another visit to be certain. Because the service was at points«eh». At first I thought it was because one waitress was handling things, and the place was actually rather full. But as we’re sitting, I notice there are people clearing tables, and doing this and that. Apparently they don’t take orders, though. Okay fine… but it’s nice to have a «hello, someone will be right with you.’ I mean one gal kept clearing a table right next to us but couldn’t be bothered to say«hello.» No waters brought, nothing. That can go a long way, let me tell you, that hello. Because I used to wait tables. Sometimes you get overwhelmed. You count on everyone in the place to help you out, be a team. It’s not even a big place. You could call out across the room«hi! Have a seat, be right with you!» and I’d smile and be patient. I’ll give a break because maybe they were hungover? ;-) But from some reviews, it seems this may not be just a NYD thing. A smile goes a long way, people, give it a shot. I seem to recall that years ago, I felt very welcome. Moving onto food. Honestly we weren’t there for big eats, just coffee and a snack. The slag pile of fries was good stuff. I do wish the fries were beefier, if you’re gonna try to be like poutine, but that’s a «stylistic» choice. No big. Noticed something that I think was called a «Smoke stack» and fries being ordered and served, and wished I’d been hungrier. They look GOOD. Perhaps next time I’m in from Seattle. Couple of final things; it did seem that either orders were getting mixed up a lot as we watched others be served, or the guests were confused as to what they ordered? Maybe the staff is newish? I try to give the benefit of the doubt, because it could be so. All in all, it’s cute inside, the food seems decent, and the waitress that did take care of us at last, was polite. Just…maybe y’all DO need to work on the hospitality. I come from a very small town, and that’s what this is, and that’s how it should be. Hospitable. Because it doesn’t matter how good the food is, people don’t come back if they feel expendable.

This was our first time to the Roslyn Café, though I’ve passed it many times. My family and I were on our way out of Roslyn and decided to check it out. When we arrived on a Sunday morning around 10a it was fairly empty. We were able to get a table right away. Food — I just got scrambled eggs and fruit. It was standard, nothing to write home about. I tasted some bacon and it was good. They do serve Glondo’s sausage, which is a local sausage company out of Cle Elum. I would have had some because they’re amazing, but I ate too much meat during the holidays :) But anyway, they have it here. I also tried the Spiced Mexican Cocoa, which is their house made cocoa with Fireball whiskey — YUM! And also an acceptable way to drink whiskey for breakfast. Service — It took a bit for us to get served and sometimes service was a little slow, but maybe because there were only a couple of them there and they seemed to have to do everything? The restaurant is cute. Small, but cute. I think I’d return if we were in the market for breakfast in Roslyn.

Steve and I were on a road trip through Roslyn. We were hitting a bunch of breweries and went to a state park. We decided to visit(the very walkable downtown) Roslyn since the Northern Exposure tv show was pretty involved here at one time. We were pondering where to go and decided to hit Roslyn Café. The place was nice and laid back and service was friendly and prompt. We both got burgers here which were very good! They also came with a generous portion of shoestring fries that completed the eradication of out hunger. However we managed to split a dessert and we had a homemade berry pie which was great! Definitely a solid dining option in town.
