Wonder Nails

Love this nail Salon! Tina does great acrylics and fast too. All the techs are very friendly and polite too. It’s not the most fancy looking nail salon but it’s ok. I’d rather have a great nail tech do my nails than go into a high end nail salon where the techs may not be as skilled.

The place is DIRTY chairs look like someone soiled themselves in them. the windows and mirrors are always filthy (windex) ladies. l They have kids toys bikes food laying around a sewing machine. ??? And the polish looks and feels OLD

I’m disappointed in being nicked on my big toe cuticle bed just burns my britches especially when I don’t see a sanitizer station for the tools
I learned a lesson to go where I know that things like this has never happened before

Okay, I also LOVE this place. After going to my former nail salon for about 10 years and being turned away because they locked the doors early one day, I’ve switched to Wonder Nails. Now I get what people are saying about the décor — it could be more… I don’t know, it does need sprucing up. (That’s why I only gave 4 stars… :-() But the service is awesome!!!
Plus it’s right around the corner from my hair salon and closer to my home than the other salon!
No more Jerry in there, it’s now truTV which I get a kick out of because I don’t watch it at home!!!

OK so this place isn’t fancy, but I love it. The women who work there are always nice and do a great job on my nails. I get a solid pedicure for $ 20, and it’s close to my home — perfect. If you are looking for one of those places that serves wine or plays jazz, this isn’t your place. However, if you want a reasonable priced pedicure that lasts for a good 3 – 4 weeks, this is the best place in the village.

This has got to be the worse nail shop in Boston. I went here on the 4^th out of desperation cause all other shops were closed and boy do I regret that decision. I had a mani and peri done and the polish is so thick it smudged hours after I left the shop. Very unprofessional looking. The ladies are nice but their work leaves much to be desired.

I stopped in here just because it was the first «salon» I saw when I got off the bus in Roslindale Village. This place is a DUMP! I had to re-​file my nails when I got home because the manicurist filed them crooked (like at a diagonal angle) and the polish chipped as soon as I walked out of the store. I asked for gel which I don’t believe she used and I’m pretty sure I saw her re-​use a one time use only glove. Will not go here again.

Okay… I went to this place to get a birthday manicure and pedicure with my friend!
Turns out it was a waste of 30 bucks within the first two days of my mani and pedi… the paint was starting to chip off. My friend had also complained about it. The people are quite rude and the place is not very friendly!

OMG!!! This place is a bloody kip (Dublin slang for a total dive)! I came here because a friend wanted to get her nails done and wanted me to join her. I don’t even know where to start… I actually read some of the reviews and maybe I came on an off day but…
OK
1. I was afraid to sit on the chairs they were so dirty
2. There was trash on the floor, tissues, sweet wrappers etc. hello, this is a place of business!!!
3. I saw a manicurist take her tools from doing one customer to another and not even put in the sterilization thingy –GROSS!!!
4. Looked like there were NO new nail colours, they were all refilled by some generic polish or something… ewwwww
I told my friend, NO WAY, not on your bloody life was I going to stay and get my nails done, so I didn’t, I brought her to the place I’ve been going to for years… which I will review next ;-)

Well, I got a good mani-​pedi for $ 30. However, I have an issue with the lack of sterilization of the tools used. Not sure if I will go back because of this.

I like these guys. I never have to wait long, and they do a nice job on my nails. The place is clean, the people are nice. It’s a good $ 20 pedi place.

ok, so i was in a jam and needed to get my nails done locally, so i went on Unilocal and found this place with a 2 star review and knowledge of watching springer… so i knew what i was in for. b/​c one review is better then no reviews.
i called and made an appt. i showed up on time and when i gave my name and appt time, they thought i said a different time over the phone… so the miscommunication was a bit of a turn off, but i was in a jam… i waited and they actually took me 15 min. later and pushed off a few walk-in’s (who were a bit pissed). i did receive a good manicure and pedicure for $ 30. my recommendation is to make an appointment so you know approximately when you will be sitting in a chair.
after all that, i am going back today b/​c i am in another jam…

If you don’t mind being forced to watch/​listen to Jerry Springer while you get your nails done, this is the place for you. They do a nice job on the nails fer sure.
