Creepy Hollow Haunted House

To be fair, I’m almost impossible to scare — so this place did nothing for me except I enjoyed seeing other people freak out. My friends and wife loved it, which is what counts. Since I guess I’m not the normal one and they are — 4 stars.

Creepy Hollow Haunted House was a hauntingly spooky and terrifying experience! It was definitely worth the drive out to the boonies in Rosharon.$ 30 will give you access to all attractions: Fight The Knight, Freak Show, Creepy Hollow World Of Oddities, Voodoo Lounge, 288 Scare Factory, Dark Woods, Bus Adventure and Pitch Black. I came here around 7:30pm on a Friday night in early October and did not have to wait in long lines to go through each of the attractions.
The only thing I would caution on is that one of the attractions has a part at the end where you choose wet or dry. Unless you are prepared to fumble your way out in the dark, covered head to toe with foam, definitely choose the dry option! If you have asthma, then the foam could be a health hazard so they advise against that. I almost had a little panic attack when I couldn’t breath (I was inhaling foam ewww) and the foam was burning my contacts and eyes. I ended up closing my eyes and tried my best to scramble out of the foamy mess to get out into fresh air before I suffocated! What a relief it was when I finally made it out, but my clothes were completely soaked from the foam. I don’t think it would have been too bad if the foam was maybe chest-​waist high. When something affects my normal breathing or ability to see, I freak out! (As others did too because I could hear people yelling that they couldn’t see nor breathe, trying to fight their way out too!)
Despite the whole foam fiasco, I still managed to have tons of fun exploring the various attractions. The actors had on such life-​like makeup/​costumes and do a great job of embracing their element, scaring the heck out of everyone! The staff there are all friendly and helpful, answering any questions or concerns you might have. I love it that Creepy Hollow is a local business that does not charge outrageous prices like its competitors and also gives back to the community by supporting local charities. I would recommend a visit this Halloween if you are brave and adventurous enough. Beware, this is not for the faint of heart as terrors and surprises lurk around every corner of your journey.

Great haunts! Definitely NOT for the faint of heart! My boyfriend and I went and we were BOTH spooked throughout every attraction! The character’s costumes and makeup are superb. I went in 2014 and 2015, and was very pleased both times! #creepyhollow

This place really does go the extra mile !!! Oscar winning actors (in my humble opinion they should be lol) !!! it’s 25 minutes outside of downtown Houston, 288 south (Rosharon, TX) my GFF was a little reluctant to go because it’s out in the boonies … I’m like «babe that’s the point !» Why go to a haunted house next to a walmart or Burger King in the inner city jungle, when u can get the real Jason, chainsaw massacre … House of a thousand corpse movie feel out in the real Texas pines ! All the non spooks staff were real helpful and friendly. Plenty of security, and two or three sherifs are driving around the parking area looking for trouble makers. $ 30 bux a person three haunts. House, pitch black asylum (my favorite) and the woods !!! The actors though … Man they were amazing ! OH almost forgot the best part u won’t believe, NO long Lines ! I’m so for serious !!! For those of u in the greater Houston area, I have done nightmare on the bayou, scream world, Kemah board walk walk of terror, fear fest Houston and none of those places are as all around GOOD as CREEPY HOLLOW ! As u can tell I can keep going on and on, but I will leave some mystery, enjoy !
