The Dungeon Smoke Shop

A pretty cool little shop.
They have a lot of stuff packed up in this shop. It is not a big place but it is well stocked. The front section has jewelry, clothes and other items. The back has the main smoke shop stuff. They even have a few cigars!
The staff has always been cool here. They are happy to show you everything while you figure out what you want.
Prices are very reasonable.
Definitely worth a visit.

Stumbled into this joint recently ((BA-​DOOM-​CHA)) …no I wasn’t medicated, just in need of a few birthday gifts. I hopped onto Unilocal and did some research. What’s was this? A place that might have what I was looking for and with two WEAK reviews from what look like either a competitor or a pissed off local PTA member (but who are obviously the same individual)? I was intrigued and so off I went to The Dungeon Smoke Shop.
At the front of the shop there is a huge assortment of body jewelry, band t-​shirts, trinkets and wall posters etc. Think Spencer’s or Hot Topic but family owned and not as trendy. At the back is the smoke shop portion of the store, where you have to be 18 years old to enter (and yes they make sure of it). Of course I had to take a peek back there because I wanted to travel back in time to my days of hanging out in Santa Cruz and getting my kicks off of traipsing in and out of head shops.
I met the owner and his son and they were both incredibly friendly and social. We spoke in depth about their loyal client base and whether their somewhat residential location has been a blessing or a curse. They were honest and open with me and I appreciated it.
Found some awesome gifts and met some super nice people. Support local business folks.

Such a beautiful selection overall. Awesome customer service, too! I don’t know anything about them selling synthetic marijuana «behind counters» like the other reviews say… I know that’s complete BS.

This shop sells hydro and diablo. two brands of synthetic marijuana. Sold from back room by the owner.

This guy is selling that synthetic marijuana from underneath the counter in the back. This stuff is dangerous and has been banned in ca since 2012.
This guys a drug dealer who sells this crap to anyone no matter age. Teenagers, kids, as long as he’s making a profit.
