Amazing food, but does not take reservations same day, and also does not do reservations for under 6 people, but it does not say that anywhere! if you are willing to wait, it is great food, but unfortunately, I don’t think I am going to wait for it. Last time we had a larger party and I was told that i could make a reservation, but neither of the above were mentioned, and waited for more than an hour to get a table, and more than another hour to get food.

Went here with Naomi after Jake’s graduation party. The atmosphere is really cool, with the lit up trees, and artwork. The Garlic Edamame was delicious. The Who’s Your Daddy Roll was pretty good, and had a little kick that I wasn’t expecting. The Kiss of Fire Roll as very fresh, but nothing special.

This place is delicious and we have NEVER had a bad meal or service. We enjoy the nice atmosphere and the prices are very affordable. We have a list of our favorite rolls that we order every time we visit and we must have the garlic edamame(it’s to die for). GREAT job and we will see you again soon!

Been going there for years and hands-down one of my favorite sushi restaurants. The people are friendly and the food is always fantastic. You can’t go wrong with any of the rolls(gotta love the names of these rolls too — «Who’s Your Daddy»), and the price is very reasonable. Check this place out!

Really solid sushi place. It’s really affordable and they put out a good product. May seem like a crazy complaint but my water tasted a little funky, over all I would recommend to friends and definitely will be going back to try some more grub!

I frequent the Sky Sushi in Rancho Cordova who is owned by the same people. The Sky Sushi in Rancho has a great check in offer for a free garlic edamame which is great. This place has a good ambience and the staff are very friendly. The sushi is really great for the price. I have to recommend the Scallop Maniac for those who like Scallops. Its not a big dish at 5 pieces but worth every bit the price. I will stick to my Rancho Cordova restaurant but would definitely come back here if i was in the neighborhood and needed a Sushi fix! –1 star for the employees wondering around looking bored.

I just watched a server decide if he was going to flip the table cloth over or not, decided not to and just wiped away the stuck food, shouldn’t it be replaced? The sushi is not very fresh, the guys behind the bar move so slowly it takes 15 – 20 mins a roll. Not going to come back, my sister did warn me, but I had to try for myself. Now I know.

Very affordable, every roll was 50% off, great variety, but didn’t please the palate. It was like the sushi was Safeway quality and that explains the affordability factor? Pros: affordable, variety, nice interior, the«heart attack» stuffed jalapeño was delicious And they had fried ice cream! Cons: Presentation was not the best, quality could have been better. Overall: Good, not great.

If you like udon noodle soup, this is the place to go; this ain’t your average packaged udon. The Nabe Udon is the only thing I order from here. The noodles come in a iron bowl and is loaded with food. You get 2 tempura shrimp, chicken cubes, mushroom, napa cabbage, onion, fish cakes, and most importantly a raw egg. Don’t let the raw egg throw you off, this shiet is legit, it adds another favor element to the whole bowl. You can slurp the egg with the hot soup or eat with the udon. The only downside is the service, it can be hit or miss. Update: knocking my 5 stars to 3 due to incorrect prices on the dirty sticky menus… prices apparently went up; surprise! Also, don’t sit at the bar, counter is sticky & dirty as well.

These guys do a really good job. From the wait staff to the chefs. I’ve been coming here for along time now and I’ve pretty much have settled on my faves. They have a roll called who’s your daddy, who’s your mama and who’s your greasy granny. Ok, IJK about the the greasy granny lol, but the others are genuine and. Sublime. Also, they serve something called the screaming O****m, its AWESOME! They have a slap me, irresistible and a naughty cowboy, these are just a few of the many that I come to like here. I would definitely recommend this place any day of the week great place to grab some good sushi. Hopefully they’ll spend a little bit of their profits on fixing the place back up. It’s getting a little bit dilapitated, thats just me.

THISISMYFAVORITEPLACE!!! I love this place. I have never tried a roll that I didn’t like. The best part is most of the rolls are 50% off, and that is not a happy hour thing or one night of the week thing… it is all of the time. My favorite roll is the crazy and it is under $ 5.00 that is a crazy good price! The garlic edamame is delicious too! My husband come here when we can for date nights and we also bring friends and family as much as we can. Our 7 year old even gets excited when we mention that we are going here. He normally orders a bento box but loves the garlic edamame and has started trying our sushi rolls each time we go. Maybe one day we will have a little sushi eater on our hands!

Surprised by mom by picking her from work and taking her here for lunch. Upon walking in I noticed all of the ocean animal coloring pages pinned to the front desk, which immediately made me happy. The lady came up to seat us right away, and gave us our own crayons to color with. The décor, like most other people mentioned, is really nice. It’s all dark toned with just the right amount of light, very elegant. Props on the menu, it’s very visually appealing and organized. The sushi was sectioned into categories for types of fish: crap/shrimp, salmon, etc. It made it easier for a noob like me to make a selection — you could look at what fish you wanted and find all those in one list. Under each selection they had listed items that were also categorized: inside, top, sauce. They also have a really neat children’s menu(that’s what we got to color). My favorite part was the half roll combo. For $ 9.50 you get two half rolls, soup, and salad. Personally I always have a hard time deciding which roll I want, so I end up buying too much food just to try different options. This deal is neat because it’s a cheaper way to try things without spending too much, plus you get the extra soup and salad. Sushi itself was the normal kind of a sushi from a place that gains popularity because of price and ease. It’s not super good sushi, but for the price it’ll do the trick if you’re having a craving.
