This is a fabulous place for your exams and eyewear! I have never been disappointed with their service, friendliness and prices. All three optometrists are excellent.

Love going to this place. Great location easy in and out for appts. Don’t let their name fool you, they do more then just contact lenses. This office has an great selection of trendy fashion eyeglasses from designer brands like Coach, Juicy, Prada and so many more!

Been going here for years. Nice people who know what they are doing and reasonable prices. They have never disappointed me.

I highly recommend, Dr. Shlyakhov. I have been seeing him for 17 years and wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else. He was recommended to me by an eye surgeon for corneal dystrophy. Well, Dr. Shlyakhov, immediately switched me to a contact lens solution with no preservatives, actually fitted me correctly with contact lens and new glasses. My corneal dystrophy actually improved, I can see properly with the correct lens and glasses. Sac Contact Lens & Optometry really did improve my sight, my eyes are healthier and I couldn’t be happier.
If you are tired of ill fitting glasses or contact lens, I highly recommend Dr. Shlyakhov. He really is the Best! I would not go anywhere else. Monica in the office is the sweetest person, so helpful, knows exactly how to use my Vision benefits to benefit me. She is awesome! I hope Dr. Shlyakhov never retires!!!

I love this place! I even tried to see if the grass was greener on the other side and ended up coming back after a 4 year hiatus.
I have been a customer of this place for 10 – 12 years. I just recently went back to them after a horrible experience i had with another optometrist and i was so pleased. I had the young female provider, i can’t remember her name but she was so friendly, we talked about her kids and her husband and she was so personable and answered all my questions. I am looking in to getting Lasik and the other optometrist wouldn’t answer one question i had unless i made a consultation, this provider told me everything i needed to know, she was so helpful! The glass saleswoman is excellent, i think sh had red hair, very nice. The walked me through how much everything was going to cost me and let me pick and choose what i wanted instead of giving me a set price with a ton of extras hidden. I will definitely be a customer for life!

Dr Smiley is a nice guy, but he can not seem to get a prescription done properly.
Also, their lab services are horrific. Every time they have screwed up my glasses, and they had to be sent back, takes over 3 weeks to get anything back from them.
Lots of turnover, seems to be different staff and managers each time I go in.
I have had much better service at Eye Designs in the Galleria Mall.

I met Dr. Shlyakhov when I took a class from him at Sac State. His excellence carries over to his optometry practice. I heartily recommend him for all your vision needs.
