Worst Dj ever. Robert Caudle has a horrible attitude with anyone he comes in contact with and likes to pop off with unnecessary comments such as, «This wedding is a bunch of kids getting married with a bunch of kids planning it.» The wedding was planned out fine and was going quite smoothly except for Caudle being almost impossible to get in contact with the last couple of weeks. The bride and groom tried to get in contact with him daily, multiple times a day, with no response. The younger sister had to blow up his phone multiple times until he finally responded unprofessionally with a text message two days before the wedding, where finally the bride and groom were able to get all of the music to him. The day of the wedding he then calls the bride and tells her that he doesn’t have the two most important songs for her wedding. Instead of finding the songs himself on youtube or itunes he just said the bride needed to figure it out herself. He finally shows up just a short time before the ceremony. When told where he was to set up, he continued his bad attitude by complaining about being in the corner instead of the center of the room. He proceded to move tables to his liking until he was right next to the sweetheart table. On top of his already bad attitude, Caudle began taking alcohol shots before the ceremony even started. Throughout the time of the bride, groom, and wedding party getting ready, Caudle proceded to continuously call the bride and groom, even after told not to and was given another number to call, with issues that would have all been solved if he scouted the venue previously or even just had been in contact with the bride and groom before the big day. His rude and uncalled for comments continued throughout the wedding while his braless girlfriend followed him around sniffing his butt. Before the line for the guest getting food was even partially gone, Caudle was up at the buffet table cutting in front of everyone to grab a full plate to feed his drunk butt. During the reception he played songs that werent chosen by neither the bride nor the groom. Halfway through the reception Caudle proceded to demand the rest of the $$ for his services from the bride and groom while they were dancing and spending time with our now conjoined families. Caudle and his mistress girlfriend were so very unprofessional, rude, and had horrible service. Thankfully our families were so happy for the couple that they decided to let him off way easier than he deserved. Worst person and company Ive ever had to deal with. DONOTBOOK! Your music and experience will be disastrous.

Do not do business with River City DJ owned by Robert Caudle. He chose to take our deposit 4÷24÷12, close the doors to his business, and then state he has no legal obligation to refund our deposit. He ignored our calls, texts, and emails for months only to state on 1÷7÷13 that we were in fact not going to receive a refund due to him breaking contract. Robert Caudle also owns the Victorian at Hemphill Mansion and owns a «ministering» company. Seems like he is trying to open as many«businesses» as possible so he can steal money from consumers. Now my fiancée and myself are forced to put off our wedding due to me being in nursing school and not having additional finances.

River City Dj was included in our all inclusive wedding package at the Victorian. Can’t beat the price! The wedding overall was great — but the DJ was just OK. In our final consolation we finalized all of our songs we had chosen. Just few minutes before the ceremony started he was still downloading our songs. Not sure if this is the owner’s fault for not getting him the info in time… or if the DJ just had not come prepared. Either way… it made us very nervous! During the dancing, there were some very awkward pauses at the end of each song. I’m used to DJ’s who mix the songs so that they continuously flow from song to song. He had itunes open on his computer and just chose another song once one ended. And… he had his son there. A kid around 6 or 7 years old. It was really weird to see a random kid that no one knew. The kid went back and forth between just sitting and watching everyone to playing outside. It might have been OK if the kid had been dressed up or something… but he was in sweats! I kept noticing him and wondering if my guests thought it was weird too. Good songs though :)

We had a bad experience with this company. Their follow up on agreed upon things was very poor. To the point where we had to go another direction before our event day. They offered to refund our deposit after we raised our concerns but then they didn’t follow through with that either. I would not recommend this company
