Okay, things that I like about Potato Corner. 1. They make your order literally as you order it. 2. Variety in flavors and options. 3. Curly fries. But the cons of Potato Corner make me –bleh– at times. 1. Since they make your order as you order it; it can take a REALLY long time if they are backed up. 2. Expect to wait. 3. It isn’t cheap either. But still. I find myself returning. I will admit; its no Auntie Anne’s pretzels. However; I like it. And I have come back before. But if I’m broke… I highly doubt I will. Bottom Line: Try it! Its pretty nifty and you might like it.

I first tried Potato Corner in California and fell in love with the crunchy, finger-licking seasoned fries. My heart broke in pieces when I moved back to Minnesota as I parted ways with this place. but not anymore! It finally came to Rosedale Center. Fries are made fresh at this place. Place your order by choosing your type of fries, a seasoning, a size, and watch as they place the fries into the fryer right before your eyes. They come out fresh, hot, and crunchy, cooked to perfection. They add your seasoning choice, shake up your fries a bit, and serve you a cup of some tasty fries. Fries types: Tots, loopy fries, regular fries, sweet potato waffle fries, or jojo chips Seasoning flavors: BBQ, cheddar, sour cream & onion, chili BBQ, cinnamon & sugar, or garlic & parmesan(you can mix two flavors if you like) My personal favorite… either loopy fries or tator tots with a mix of chili BBQ and sour cream & onion. Yum!

I love all the different styles and flavors from here. My first was the Sour Cream & Onion, and it tastes like the chips! I have been madly in love with potatoes and of course, fries. I miss the TCBY from here but I also really love the Potato Corner!

Perhaps my French Fry standards are a bit higher than most. I still dream of days of walking down the Pier in Old Orchard Beach, Maine and getting some Pier fries. Occasionally settling for«Five Guys» fries, which are top notch for chains. I wasn’t impressed at all with this place. I liked the idea that everything was cooked to order. The fries themselves were incredibly generic. Right out of the freezer and brown bag generic. There was nothing notable about the cut. Nothing notable about«freshness», it was just like McDonalds fries… with flavor. I paid like $ 3.50 for the«medium”(I refuse to acknowledge the Starbucks-esque marketing techniques used to make each size sound impressive…) size. Not cheap in the least bit. Maybe this place just isn’t for me… shrug.

I work in the mall and was really excited something new was added for food choices. I am impressed by the simplicity of the selection. My favorite thing is that I can call ahead of time and by the time I show my order is done. That is very helpful because I don’t have long breaks.

Changed my mind after a couple more visits. They’ve improved their speed, with the same quality food. 5⁄5!
