Around the Rocklin/Roseville areas, there are lots of Thai food places… and I’ve tried a few of them by now. So, I’m happy to report that Pinto Thai definitely stands out on my list! Pros: — THAIWINGS. Yes, get them, especially if you dine in. So crispy, falls off the bones, and well-sauced!!! They are everything I leave and breathe for(exaggerated yes, but it’s so good I can’t describe in other words…) — Panang curry. Expensive but pretty good — Pad Thai. Please don’t order the veggie option though… it doesn’t smell like pad thai anymore. Cons: — More expensive than some thai places around — Panang curry doesn’t come with rice! Like what do you supposed I eat this with??? :( — Weekends can be a long wait(20 min) to get food. Overall, I’m a fan!(THAIWINGSOMG)

Friendly and quick service. Took care of me while I waited to pick up my order. The restaurant was quit with plenty of room and great atmosphere for talking with friends and family. The food was delicious and I thoroughly enjoy my sticky rice dessert. Also when you ask for a Thai tea you get a good amount. The cup isn’t filled with ice. I of course will be going back.

The food here was absolutely delicious! I had the Roasted Duck Curry that was amazing! I had a taste of my wife’s and my kid’s meals and they were just as tasty as mine. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had better Thai food anywhere. Not sure if the other reviews are real. Came here based on the average reviews. Disappointed.

This is the best Thai food in Rocklin, Roseville and Lincoln areas. The Chiang Mai Curry Noodles(Kao Soi) is the best I have ever had. I consistently order Pad Thai and Yellow Curry both with chicken and they are always excellent too. The fresh rolls are also very good. If you like your Thai food«Thai Hot», this is the place. They even provide peppers which take it beyond. The price is reasonable and the service, at any time of the day, is good. You will not be disappointed. They have a wide selection of specials listed weekly at the front door and they offer Gunther’s Ice Cream. You cannot go wrong.

Been here about a handful of times and this place hasn’t failed me yet. On Mother’s Day we came for dinner. Our waiter(young man with braces) was definitely quick on his feet while busy, attentive and super kind! I really hope he gets all of the recognition for his hard work in this restaurant. He was my waiter before as well when it wasn’t busy and he was just as awesome. Appetizer: angel wings, calamari, and chicken curry puff ALLWEREVERYAUTHENTICTASTINGANDDELICIOUS. Calamari is definitely not your American calamari! My personal favorite were the angel wings. Entrée: TOMKHASOUP, delicious! Got a large to share for 7. TOMYUMSOUP, Delicious! Don’t forget this is hot and spicy. Chicken Pad Thai, not dry no special taste to their pad Thai here. Though, it is always a signature dish at Thai restaurants. Beef drunken noodles, saucy as we like it and tastes good mild! Not stingy with meat either. Thankfully. Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice, a personal favorite and must! Chicken Cashew Nut, great dish to share with the table. Ask for white rice! Chicken Yellow Curry, never fails. Here, there is a little taste of the spice that differentiates them for other places. Great yellow curry. Chicken pumpkin Curry, another personal favorite!!! Yum! Favorite Thai Place in Roseville by far!!!

Pinto Thai never fails. We love having their Currey dishes, but this time ordered the Pad Se-iew. Flat rice noodles with vegetables and chicken.

The service is spectacular and the food was excellent. The duck curry was probably the best I’ve had in the Sacramento region.

Took a chance on this place without checking Unilocal.Doesn’t look like much on the outside but WOW was the food good here and well-priced! I had the pineapple curry, husband had the red curry. Soooooo good. The Thai iced tea was also delicious, as was the mango sticky rice we had for dessert. We will definitely be coming back! Our server was also very attentive and kind, always a plus.

Well Unilocalers, you dissapointed me. This place had a lot of good reviews, but not so good food. First, the crab fried rice was pretty good. Probably the best thing I had. The red curry was okay, it was runny like water. The chicken wings were pretty bad and the sticky rice was very soggy. Overall, this place was a big dissapointment. If your used to great Thai food then dont go here but if your taste buds dont know the diffrence this is the place for you.

I had dinner here three times in a row! It’s soooooo delicious! Talking about it makes my mouth water. SOJUSTGORIGHTNOWANDREADMYREVIEWLATER! My husband and I love Thai food so much. I grew up eating the best Thai cuisine in Los Angeles. Pinto Thai has got the flavor spectrum down! The dishes that we tried had the perfect balance of spices and herbs. First I will start with the most simple yet complex dish ever. It baffles me how amazing their Thai Angel Wings were. It is stuffed and deboned chicken wings that are breaded and fried to perfection. It is stuffed with chicken, minced veggies, and glass noodles. It comes with a side of sweet chili sauce. Now when you have it you will be surprised how there isn’t any grease. It could use a touch of heat but otherwise it is amazing! We then had the basil fried rice with chicken and shrimp. The blend of flavors was incredible. The first night I decided to test the waters and try it mild. Not a lot of places know what mild is and PT had it down! Lastly we tried pad sew ew with pork in mild. It came with so much vegetables, pork, and noodles we had enough for another meal. The flavor was great as well and the noodles tasted fresh. The service was great and the atmosphere was really relaxing. I admired the decorations they had and had fun trying to remember how Strings(former restaurant) looked like. I hope you will enjoy the food they serve! Wear something loose!

My favorite Thai place in Roseville(that I’ve tried so far anyway)! The servers here are very friendly and attentive. And how can you beat unlimited Thai tea?! As far as dishes go(which are generously portioned), the best in my opinion is the pad see ew. Great flavor with plenty of veggies and meat. The yellow curry, kua kai, and mango fried rice are also our go-to dishes. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone want to try some great Thai food in this area!

The food here is amazing! Best thai I’ve had in a long time. The Tom Yum is very flavorful with just the right amount of sourness. The thai fried rice is delicious, pad thai noodles are cooked just right. The noodles are soft and not soggy like some places. I would eat here evry day if I could!

Stopped here on a whim on our drive back from Reno and it was surprisingly delicious! We had the tom yum soup and I ordered the avocado curry with tofu and brown rice and BF had the basil fried rice with beef. The avocodo in the green curry made it creamy and generous fresh slices of avocado was on top of the bowl. Green bell peppers, basil, green beans and tofu makes this a filling dish. I could only eat half and asked for the rest to go. The sweet waitress put extra brown rice in my to go box as she mentioned she thinks I didn’t have enough left for another meal. So very kind and sweet, we left her a great tip to express our gratuity. Excellent service and delicious food, we might have to make this a routine stop in our Bay Area to Reno travels.

Thoroughly enjoyed PUMPKINCURRY with Tofu and added Green Beans and brown rice!(A tad spicy for my wee one, but extra rice and mango ice cream helped cool the tasty burn!!) ;) CHICKENSATAY for a starter, seasoned & cooked beautifully! — peanut sauce and cucumber salad are perfect accourtrements!

We came to this restaurant because we had a coupon from the Entertainment book. Pretty good Unilocal reviews as well, so we figured we’d check it out. Love how they give free refills on their Thai iced tea and iced coffees! The Pad See-Ew was amazing. The Pad Thai was so-so. I’ve had better(my fave is Thai Basil in Elk Grove). Portion size was a little small for the Pad See-Ew too. But all in all, definitely a nice place. Good service from the waitress. Nice restaurant, good air conditioning(necessary when it’s 108 degrees outside!), good place to bring friends and family. We’d definitely come back, especially with the Unilocal check-in discount and free refills!

I went to Pinto Thai Bistro on a slow Tuesday night. My friend decided on it because it had good Unilocal reviews so we decided to give it a shot. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and doesn’t really stand out — I think it would be easy to overlook this restaurant if you were just cruising around the area. If you do miss it, however, it would totally be your loss! Pinto Thai Bistro is a great choice for Thai cuisine. The restaurant is clean, and the service is friendly. The menu features quite a bit of traditional Thai dishes like Pad Thai, drunken noodles, and wraps, but there are also some unique items on the menu as well. The Angel Wings appetizer intrigued me. It was deep fried chicken wings stuffed with ground chicken. I decided to give it a shot… and I’m glad I did. This appetizer is crispy and delicious. It comes with a sweet and sour dipping sauce that is absolutely perfect for it. I have definitely never had anything like this before, and am glad I got to try it here. My main course was the Pad Thai. I usually like to go for the Pad Thai when I first go to a Thai restaurant. Pinto’s Pad Thai is very flavorful, but a little on the ‘wetter’ side. I personally like my Pad Thai drier, but their dish was still good enough for me to happily scarf down. Pinto Thai Bistro offers quite a bit on its menu. I’m sure that diners will find something that they will enjoy from it. It’s a restaurant that I would recommend!

Stopped in for lunch while running errands. Seated immediately, server hands me the menu and tends to other tables. The lunch menu had maybe twenty items top. The lunches are $ 7.99 for chicken, tofu, or pork. One or two dollars more for beef or shrimp. I chose the chicken pad Thai. It came out at a decent amount of time. It was probably one of the better pad Thais I’ve had, just needed more spice. I wanted it to be more spicy, since my server was the only one waiting, I decided I would wait for her to come by. I had eaten half my plate and I had to flag her down. Ugh! I hate doing that, but had no choice, my dish needed Heat! Overall, I like this place. The service could’ve been better and the food was pretty good. I’m giving them three and a half stars for now. FYI, use the check in offer that’s available. I forgot to, but will definitely use it next time!
