It was the first time I’ve been here and the customer service was excellent ! Outstanding!!! I recommend this pizza place for family, High School parties and sport teams! The food is delicious fresh. The restaurant is very clean. 10 out of 10!!! The Manager Jocelyn and Tm a crew member were so polite and ready to give you great customer service.

Great location! Good individual pizza custom made. They let you put whatever toppings you want though they tend to do small handfuls of each topping. Gluten free and vegan cheese options available but for $ 2 extra. The crust is thin and crunchy.

Super impressed! They burnt my pizza, apologized and made a new one. When they brought out the new one, they gave me a coupon for a free pizza on my next visit. Then, there was a misunderstanding and they made my pizza twice and gave me that one also. The manager came out and apologized for the inconvenience. Super great service and not a bad pizza!

I made my own pizza and it was sooooo delish! This is by far my favorite fast pizza place around and it seems like so many have popped up lately! The restaurant was super clean and the staff were so nice! The ingredients were fresh, I was so happy! Sorry for no picture I was so excited and hungry I ate it before remembering! Super great prices, check them out!

It’s ok pizza. I would pick Trademark over Pieology any day.

This was my first visit here at Pieology. I had only been to one other make-​your-​own-​pizza place (Trademark). When I arrived on a Saturday around 8pm, there was adequate parking since the place is in a giant plaza. When it gets busy during the afternoon, there is always parking available even being on Douglas Blvd and all.
The line wasn’t too long. There was adequate staff available which made the line move along quite nicely. I was very happy with the customer service I received, but while choosing toppings for my pizza, the employee was too stingy with the toppings. This place doesn’t have very many toppings to choose from already so I knew my pizza was going to turn out very plain. When I asked for spinach, I was given 3 leaves. That was barely going to spread out on my pizza. I felt annoyed that I had to keep saying «could I have more of this?» It wasn’t as if I was putting a lot of stuff on my pizza. Maybe altogether, only 5 toppings. I’m assuming the employees are told to put very little of each topping to ensure that everything the customer chooses will fit onto the pizza. In any case, I would suggest telling the employee that you will need more of each ingredient if you are only getting very little toppings. I would definitely come back another time knowing what I know. Still, very friendly and courteous staff.

We really want this place to succeed! The concept is terrific and certainly the location is near perfect.
Service is fast and very friendly. Pizza crust is thin and chewy, the way we like it. Toppings offered are fresh and there is plenty to chose from. So why only two stars?
Gosh they are so skimpy on the toppings! I let them know up front I will not be picking any of the meat choices (the most expensive) but just cheese and veggies. It’s like pulling teeth to get more than a small sprinkling of red onions or more than a couple of mushrooms. (They take a pinch of mushrooms then crumble them to make it appear you have more). Pieology please visit your competitors to see what decent coverage is! If you don’t loosen up a bit on your toppings you will lose the customer base you already have!!!

I got excited about introducing Pieology to my parents because I’ve been to several locations throughout California and loved the food every time. Any pizza with any combination of toppings is only eight dollars. Aww yeah. Usually I just pick from the already-​existing menu and add toppings instead of creating my own from scratch.
My favorites are the Classic Margherita and Smokin’ Buffalo Chicken. For some reason, I ended up receiving the BBQ Chicken instead of Buffalo, and I’m not sure if I messed up saying my favorite pizza or they heard me wrong. Either way, my dad liked the BBQ Chicken, so I stuck with eating the Margherita pizza. My mom was disappointed with the size of the pizza (11.5″) and I know others dislike the lack of toppings. Personally, I think the crust is perfectly thin and there are just enough toppings to satisfy my appetite without making me feel fat.
Either way, it’s great news that Roseville finally gets their own Pieology!

I tried the Pieology in downtown Sac and gave it one-​two stars so I I did not have high hopes but came here out of convenience after doing some ceramics next door. They were much better than I expected. People were friendlier than sac. My pizza was not burnt and it passed my flop test where the middle wasn’t soggy so they upgrade to a 3. I have been to all of the custom pizza places in Roseville and this would rank a distant 2^nd next to my still very favorite… Trademark and here is why which covers the franchise in general. The sauce lacks zing. Don’t really dig the olive oil glaze they put on the crust. Vegetable Ingredients are not fresh. You can tell they have been sitting a few days. Don’t like that they crumble my poor white mushrooms into slivers. Selections are less than most. Portions they initially put on are miniscule. Yes, you can ask for more and they will happily do so but I feel greedy when i have to ask more than once on each ingredient because it is so little. They give in «pinch» increments which drives me crazy. Grab a handful why don’t ya! Also only sell one size. No «specials» of any kind. I may have given more stars if Trademark had not been my benchmark. Plus I prefer supporting a local business owner vs. a chain. I would come again IF the circumstances were right but otherwise, I would drive the extra 2 miles to Trademark.

Two stars is more than enough.

You choose what goes on your own pizza and its cooked within 5 minutes, so how could it be bad? You get an 11.5 inch pizza as many topping as you want and you choose from a variety of sauces all for the same price $ 7.95. They also serve salads and an assortment of drinks.
Customer service is quick and friendly and plenty of nice clean indoor seating.

I know this place opened up recently and I like the concept (its like a Subway with pizza instead of sandwiches) but I’m not too thrilled with the food.
I got the alfredo and the buffalo chicken pizzas. The price was great ($ 8 each) the size was decent (11.5″ each) but they went really light on the toppings and kept pestering me to add other things (toppings) to the pizzas. I just wanted to try the pizza before adding other things to them. Like other commenters have said, the crust is like a giant cracker and if you let it cool off (as in, you’re taking it home) it gets hard and chewy really fast.
But what surprised me the most was that my pizzas weren’t even cut straight. I opened the boxes and it looked like they ran the cutter over it at random. On the buffalo chicken, one slice was literally ¹⁄₃ of the pizza. On the alfredo, it seems like they tried cutting it at one angle (there were a lot of lines) but then gave up and started on the other side instead. So when I pulled a «slice» off, it fell apart or it was more akin to some abstract geometric figure instead of a triangle.
I might be back in the future but so far, I’m not impressed.

ANOTHER fast fire pizza place in Roseville? I honestly cannot complain.
The service was quick, friendly, and the wait staff offered suggestions since it was our first time. One good recommendation was adding the herb butter and the house red sauce together.
The only downfall to my experience was that we came in an hour before they closed and they were in the middle of cleaning and consolidating ingredients. A couple of the ingredients listed in the window were not displayed and I didn’t want to bother and ask. If I were to compare this place to Trademark Pizza, I would say that I like the crust better here (nice ratio of crunchy and chewy) and the ingredients at Trademark is more plentiful.

If you are looking for an amazing pizza experience, you have to check out this place!!! For about $ 11, you get a make your own pizza with as many toppings as you want and a drink! I ordered the hickory BBQ chicken and it was just mouthgasmic! I ended up ordering the margherita pizza to take home after as well! Both were so so good and I would drive another 45 minutes just to get some more of this pizza!

Wow! What a find! My kids first told me about Pieology in the Bay Area, they said it was great and they were right! It is a combination of fast food and quality choices. You pick what ever you want on your pizza, they build it to order and BAM it is ready in no time!
The staff is obviously happy to be working there, because they are jovial, fun and personable.
This is a great place to be pampered by friendly, customer focused folks…
Glad I finally tried Pieology!

Excellent service, fresh ingredients, and completely customizable. A great experience, but the pizza was just not a pizza worth raving about. It was more like an oily cracker that had a bunch of ingredients on it to make it good. A pizza shouldn’t break like an overly toasted piece of bread.
Worth going once! I won’t be going again, though. Pizza is a science just as much as it is an art– and they don’t seem to have it down yet.

This place is great and now that it is right next to where I work, I go here like every weekend. Crust is amazing, and the toppings taste great. Love the manager! He’s always happy to see me and asks how work is going…
Only thing I would say is that the pizza could be cut a little better. Sometimes I get pieces that aren’t cut all the way. And occasionally I get one that’s still kinda doughy… Nonetheless, I keep coming back for the deliciousness :)

My wife and I were exited to try another fast fire pizza place in Roseville. Yes that makes 4. But I had seen that there was an established location downtown so I had high hopes.
Walking in the front door the place looks new (as it should) and seems familiar (because it’s floor plan is like most other build your own eateries) but I don’t mind a little uniformity. I could tell that the staff was still trying to learn and seemed frantic and confused but I will say they were all courteous and professional. I ordered a build your own pizza and selected my dough. Unlike the other places they oil the dough before placing the sauce which is different but turned out well. I selected my toppings down the line and in the oven my pizza went. My wife also built a pizza for her and we did a third for our small child.
The pizzas are brought out to your table when they are done however we had to send them all back to be re-​cut because they did not make it through the crispy cracker like bottom crust. They did it without hesitation and were very courteous. Something was off with one of the pizzas (my sons) it had toppings missing as if they slid off in the oven. and I was ready to write them off and just give a bad review. A man I presume the owner came over from a table nearby where he was working on his laptop and greeted us and asked us how it was we said fine and he was nice and thanked us for the business. Apparently he saw the flawed pizza and without asking or telling us he was doing it. Here came out another pizza that was flawless and he came and apologized for the mistake.
Back to the pizza. Like I said. Crispy cracker crust and the toppings were a bit oily (due to the herb butter they put on the crust) however it was very flavorful and tasted good. It could have used more tomato sauce but I like sauce heavy pizzas.
My final thoughts were how it is a new business and has some kinks worked out it is definitely worth a try. It seems to be slightly higher in price than the other local places and only slightly. I will give this place another try in a few weeks and see if a little time and training can smooth the kinks out.
4 stars for the food and the fact there were mistakes however the service I received was 5 star.

My husband & I were invited to their soft opening since we work in the area. Free pizza for each of us & we had been to similar places, but have never tried Pieology, so we thought we would give it a shot.
We were told that we could order any specialty pizza off of their menu because the employees were learning to make them. I tried the BBQ pizza & my hubby tried the buffalo chicken. After ordering, the pizzas arrived at our table pretty quickly. The first thing we noticed is that the sauce (bbq & buffalo) was all over the top, instead of the traditional sauce on the bottom. I was instantly turned off by this, but after giving it a try, i found it to be pretty tasty. The crust is thin & crispy & quite good as well. They also offer salads with different toppings, which i thought would be a great alternative to pizza.
Since we both work in the area, i am sure we will give Pieology another shot. Next time we will create our own & choose the toppings to our liking. Overall, this place was nice.
