What a wonderful place to do business! The salesman was wonderful. I bought the cutest futon and the cover selection was amazing! My futon is very comfortable and gets many compliments.

Shopping for mattresses requires dealing with such a racket. Excitement about the prospect of a new bed can easily wither in the face of confusing showrooms, conflicting or absent consumer info, and sharky salesfolks.
After dragging ourselves through this tiring process, we thought we’d found a great deal at Costco on a brand-​name set, only to have our hearts sink when my man found a bunch of reviews complaining about that particular model’s divoting issues. Back to square one-​I could have cried. After lengthy searches online though we finally found a no-​nonsense mattress shopping guide which said that almost all mattress springs and frames are manufactured at one factory somewhere and that unless you’re going top o’ the line, brand names don’t matter much at all. «Find a mattress that truly feels good to you and go for it!» was his advice.
We strolled into the Mattress & Futon Shoppe, bracing to resist more hard sells. What a delight to find instead a friendly, down-​to-​earth salesguy who talked to us normally, gave us fantastic bottom-​line prices, then left us to test the beds and make our choice. In 10 minutes we were done-​thrilled with the set we’d found. Cheaper than Costco for a better quality set, and delivered free! The guys were nice and even whisked away our old one.
With the dough we saved we were able to get a mattress protector, pillow top, new pillows, sheets, and a comforter. Our new bed is a luxurious dream!
