Always great service but the food is a little tastier at Texas Roadhouse. I still enjoy eating here. The rolls are the best! I would take them any day over TRH’s. Better drink options too. Can’t beat that Ol’ Smokey Moonshine! I got 5 jars at home in fact. TRH: Waaaaay better mashed potatoes Better quality sirloin The butter Better sweet tea Logan’s: Better rolls I enjoy he drink menu more Great service Better desert options

Came here on a Sunday night around 8pm. They were not very busy as at. They were out of prime rib, that they only have on Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s. So my fiancé asks for a New York strip and they were also out. When his filet finally came out, it was supposed to be melted blue cheese crumbles but instead had blue cheese butter paste that was cold as ice. And on top of it our waiter didn’t seem on top of anything. Won’t be returning here.

With a last minute switch-up on New Year’s Eve, I met with family here at Logan’s Roadhouse. I ordered a sirloin steak dinner(for $ 9.99) from the Heart & Healthy portion of the menu. I received a very nice salad with a small steak, and a side of broccoli. The meal was fine, as usual. Service was equally attentive. Drinks were refreshed regularly, and each time a request for additional dinner rolls was made, they cheerfully filled the request. By the way, their rolls are oven-baked-fresh! A kind patron seated behind me offered some unused coupons for our use. What a neighborly thing to do! Very nice, indeed. I had occasion to use the restroom facilities and was intrigued with the water faucet. Nice touch! Oh, and the restroom was spotlessly clean. I wish I could continue with highlighting the great things about this restaurant. But, here is the not-so-nice part. And this could happen at any restaurant, they are all susceptible. When we received our dinner rolls, I picked up a small plate set on the table for dinner roll usage. Had it been set directly in front of me, I probably wouldn’t have noticed any flaws. But as I picked it up, I felt something on the plate. Sure enough, it wasn’t as clean and spotless as I would expect. Since one of our plates was also used by us to hold peanut shells, we asked for an additional plate for dinner rolls. Our waitress brought out a few more, and as I inspected them, each one still had food particles left after washing. Each one. Having grown up in a large family, I had been taught at an early age the proper way to wash dishes, and I often had to show my younger siblings how to do it right. Again in Boy Scouts, at MUCC Camp in northern Michigan, and in the Armed Forces, cleanliness of dinnerware was stressed relentlessly, and always enforced. Am I disgusted? No. I understand how today’s modern methods of using an automated dishwasher with high pressure hot water can lull a person into thinking that china and silverware can simply be put away after the wash cycle is complete. BUT, close inspection by kitchen personnel, the all-important and final step, avoids embarrassing reviews by patrons.

Well I think I’m really done coming here my food is always over cooked and never right! The server wasn’t very nice when I said the order was wrong! They need cooks who know how to make good steaks because they are try or over cooked! Stay away if you can

A group of co-workers went there for lunch, and we all left with the feeling that we had just experienced the worst customer service of our lives. The waitress made all of us feel unwelcome.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch around 2:30, after being seated and waiting 10+ minutes for a server to greet us she finally made her way over, Jasmine, looking as if we were an inconvenience and while rolling her eyes she said and this is a direct quote; «i noticed you sitting here so i guess I’ll take care of you» really? well thank you SO much for your making us feel like we’re interrupting you. then we order drinks. That came out wrong. we ordered salads. and she forgot one bringing it 5 min after the first one. never checking back, as the dressing was also wrong, someone else delivered our food, the food was pretty good, but I never got the butter and sour cream I had asked for, and never got the chance to ask again because Jasmine seemed to be lost. Upon getting up to look around I saw that she had no other tables and was hanging out with the staff who also did not seem to be taking care of their tables at all. Needless to say we will most definitely NOT be returning. If the customers that pay for the restaurant to operate are treated like an after thought or an irritation I’d gladly spend my money where I am appreciated. But thought people would like to be made aware of how little their employees care.

Logan’s is the Walmart of steak houses. Horrible food and horrible service. The only reason I went here is because I had a gift card. I will never return and I would never recommend it.

I usually have a great experience at any Logan’s location but this one was not so it took them forever to bring my food and they weren’t super busy three groups that sat down after me where served before me! I’ve never had bad experience at Logan’s and I love their food but I will never go back to this location. They lied to me over and over and over. Your food is coming in a minute. They are putting it together right now and what makes it so bad is I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Smh never again!

I haven’t been to Logan’s in a very long time, I would guess about 10 years. But when my family wanted quick food and noticed the parking lot wasn’t very busy for a Thursday night dinner rush we decided to stop in! Immediately we noticed a sign for happy hour, including meals, appetizers and drink specials. Awesome! What was even better was the specials ended at 6pm and our waitress told us we just made the cut! It was 6pm exactly when we walked into the building. We started out with mozzarella sticks, $ 4 on the happy hour menu. The basket came with 8 cheese sticks. Awesome deal for $ 4! Not to mention we didn’t have to ask for sauce. It came with marinara sauce AND ranch. Bonus! My Aunt and I got the 2 for $ 15 dinner special. Two entrees with two sides each. Lots of food! I got the chicken tenders(mashed potatoes and mac n cheese) while my Aunt got the grilled chicken(salad and veggies) The sign says the entrees were lunch portions. I doubt 8 chicken tenders was lunch portion but my stomach certainly appreciated it! I didn’t care for the mashed potatoes. Needed more flavor. Very bland even with butter and gravy. My boyfriend loved his ribs and chicken combo with spiced apples and mashed potatoes. Fall off the bone ribs with excellent BBQ sauce. He was pleased! One of the best parts of the food was the fresh yeast rolls(bottomless!) Compared to Texas Roadhouse, the rolls are more fluffy and soft with more flavor. No cinnamon butter though. Service was great! Our waitress seemed new but was able to get help and answer all of our questions. Fill out the survey on the bottom of your receipt for $ 3 off your next visit. Only real complaint was the tables and booths were small and we didn’t care for the mashed potatoes. We left with leftovers though!

The hostess was completely rude. Awesome that you get peanuts to eat. However, their chicken is the most disgusting thing ever and their waitress’s are not polite at all. They pay no attention to anyone.

I used to be a waitress here, the food is decent, and the 2 for $ 15 isn’t a bad deal at all! The amount of times that they run out of silverware can be annoying, and some of the servers hadn’t a clue what they were doing. I’ve never seen so many people come and go as servers as I’ve seen here. All in all it isn’t bad for what you pay!

The best steak I’ve tasted in a long time ! Reasonable priced & great service. On a personnel note, I own a limo company & put together a charity night for a family who really deserved a night out. Logan’s was kind enough to supply the dinner for them. Great karma. Even though they are a stones throw from a crappy Walmart that looks like something from an old prison movie, Logan’s is one class act. Just writing this has determined my dinner plans for tomorrow night … :) lol

Meh. A really nice bar, so if all you’re looking for is a drink, sure, pop on in… but there are much better places to pop in for a drink. I’ve been here twice now, and both times I’ve felt horrible after eating here. Coincidence? Sure, possibly… but I’m still staying away for a while. The steaks were on the same level that you could pull together with a trip to Meijer and a campfire, so… yeah…that’s not really what I’m looking for when I hit a steak joint. And I «get» that this isn’t Ruth’s Chris, or Lelli’s, or Mister Paul’s…but it’s not even close to being an Outback or anything on that playing field either. So…“meh”. Pass.

In general, I feel that Texas Roadhouse is the best of the chain steakhouses. However, Logan’s Roadhouse can be an alternative when you are in a hurry and don’t feel like waiting to get in at another restaurant. The quality of the food is not up to par of a high end steakhouse or even Texas Roadhouse in my opinion, however, it is acceptable. It is worth noting that this particular location does not live up to the standards I have experienced at other Logan’s locations. The food itself appears to be the same. It is the service is cause for concern. My last visit here included billing issues and missing food. In addition, our party was notified that one of the particular cuts of steak that ordered wasn’t available. No big deal normally, however, they were ready to bring out the rest of the meals at that moment. If you are in Roseville and crave steak, do yourself a favor and go to Mr. Paul’s Chophouse. If you want chain food, try the Texas Roadhouse. If you just have to have Logan’s, drive up to the Hall Rd. location. The service is much better there.

This was the worst Logan’s I have ever been to. I’m not a big fan of chains to begin with but I used to eat at Logan’s fairly regularly when I was working out if town and could always count on a good steak and solid sides. On this visit my 16 oz tbone which I ordered medium rare was raw(like purple and cold all around the bone) and tough. It tasted like it had soaked in meat tenderizer. The«homemade chips» were cold, chewy and stale not hot and crispy. I had to pick slimy rotten pieces of lettuce out of my daughters salad. The portions were scanty. The place was pretty full and I heard wait staff all around apologizing to patrons for who knows what. This was not just a bad night… I had had a less than great experience here once before about a year and a half ago where a wait staff stood at the bar next to me eating the olives for the drinks with her hands while talking to the bartender and then went back to work without washing her hands. Never again.

Just another steakhouse. Nothing special going on here. Same food you can get anywhere else and same deals over all. Nothing there makes me want to eat here that I couldn’t get at a Texas Roadhouse or at lazy bones. They really need something that stands out and says hey eat here.

My comments are directed toward this location only! I am not knocking Logan’s as a whole. The staff here are always talking to one another, on their cell phones, or doing something else. I used to be a waitress at Big Boy, and if we were on our cell phones we got diciplined. It is strange to me. The food has very rarely come out like it is supposed to at this location. On Hall Rd., they always bring the food out while it is hot and it always appears to be freshly cooked. I have rarely, if ever, gotten food from here that didn’t look as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour, or had been microwaved. One exierience in particular comes to mind, when I went with three friends, my husband and myself. One steak had messed up, so they had to remake it. Instead of telling us that it would be another half hour(so an hour total waiting for our food without ever seeing our waitress), they kept the rest of our food under heat lamps while they remade the steak. So an hour after waiting, there was one dish that had been freshly made(but burned instead of medium, as my friend had ordered it) and the rest of us had shrivled, dry food. My husband’s steak looked like jerkey because it was so dried out and leathery!!! It was so disgusting. My salmon was hard and cold. The sauce that comes with the salmon was solidified. It was just awful. The upside to this restaurant is their bar!!! They have some skilled bartenders. The drinks I have to get to be able to eat their food are always great!!! As an example of how trashy this place has become, in the last 3 times I have been there, I have seen at least a handful of people in pajama pants or yoga pants. Just an all-around classy joint.(eek) I would recommend that if you are in the mood for an excellent meal, or great service that you instead go to Longhorn steakhouse. It’s my new go-to steakhouse.

5 years ago we used to go once a month and eat. The whole family. Im not a steak person so i normally got something else but, last summer 2012 was the last time we went there. We noticed the quality was slacking a little and so was the service however we figured maybe their switching management or cooks it happens so we made 2 more attempts. We sent 2 dishes back. The hamburger tasted like baby food and the chicken was WAY over cooked! It such a shame cause they had a great enviornment. Reasonable prices! I dont recommend this place!

Had to wait 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken, another 20 for the waiter to come back with them and take our food order. Then waited another 40 minutes for food. Server was MIA, when I got my food my mashed potatoes were ice cold in the center. Sent the plate back and took it as a lesson learned. I will never eat here again. Manager didn’t seem care either, we sent an email about our experience to corporate through their website and never received a response! Horrible service. Avoid.

I think Logans two for 19.99 is one of the best deals around. They basically took Applebees 2 for $ 20 and improved upon it. There are many choices in the special and unlike Applebees you get bread & dessert(plus peanuts!). The food is always good and the bread is awesome. Plus they give you the option to not get the dessert & app at a reduced price(even cheaper on Mon & Tues).
