Jimboy’s and I like this location, is about the best«fast food» in my book. The tacos are so good, I really can’t get enough of them. When I was younger I could hammer down 12 or so, but now I’m at about 5, that seems perfect. I like their taco sauce too. This location is clean and has a large dining room.

The only Jimboy’s i have ever been to was the little shack near Denio’s flea market in Roseville. So after about 5 years since my last Jimboy’s taco, I decided to stop by here while driving down Douglas Blvd and was glad I did! The restaurant had a sign of «new management» in the front of their entrance and whatever they’re doing… It’s great. Great service, the girls at the counter are friendly and outgoing. The restaurant had plenty of tables and was very clean and modern. Everything was very tidy, from the soda fountain area, to their salsa bar. And of course, the food was great. Nothing beats a Jimboy’s ground beef taco! Deliciously hot off the grill. Tasty ground beef inside a hot, Parmesan cheese-coated tortilla with melted cheese, topped off with fresh lettuce… Ohhhhhyeah. Finger-lickin’ good.

I am not one to leave reviews and this will be my first, but it had to be done! I used to live in the area and would always come to this location because it was the best. I came back to visit only to see it is under new management. I was a little worried, but This location has only gotten better and the customer service is excellent. The manager josh is doing an excellent job here! Unfortunately there is no jimboys down south. Next time i am in town i will be back for sure!

I’m really disappointed with this particular spot. It’s the second and last time I eat at this location. First time they screwed up my burrito Second time same thing. SMH. I asked for a carne asada I get carnitas. The wrong burrito I receive was plump and big. I asked to get it corrected and I could here the lady I’m the kitchen argue in spanish that I got what I orderd. They did the know I spoke spanish. finally after 10 more minutes in got my carne asada burrito. Not even close to the other burrito… I had meet every other bite. Thanks for screwing my Friday cheat meal… never again. I’m also one that brags and about where I eat. So yes I will be talking to people about my bad experience!

I’m someone who always Eats at Jimboys. At least the one on Elkhorn. This place is disappointing. The service is slow, and when they finally brought me my order, it was wrong. I’m never coming here again.

The amount meat in the carnitas taco was tiny and not worth the 4 bucks. The taco salad was fresh but had little flavor. Guacamole was good and salsa was fresh. The place used to be the best food and the best value. I don’t know what happened but it’s too bad. I’m going to try another location and hope it’s better

Cool layout for this location. I like the area too. The staff were friendly and efficient. I still haven’t had a bad experience at the chain as a whole.

After their renovation to expand the seating area, their portion sizes have been downgraded and prices upgraded. My steak classic burrito, which is little more than meat and cheese, was $ 7 and not much larger than a taquito. The street tacos used to be 99 cents and are now $ 3. Jimboy’s isn’t the value it once was.

Mmmm the steak El Gordo was so yummy, I was told one was enough but they’re so good you’ll wish you ordered two. They place the Parmesan cheese on the side, next time I would ask to have it on the taco not the side. The place was very clean, quick service and customer service was GREAT, very friendly and helpful. It was my first time eating here and I would eat here again.

Much improved over last time here. Complete renovation and now has ample seating and good service. BTW, considering reasonable prices and it’s fast food, the food is excellent.

Wow this place is too expensive for what you get! I wonder why so costly, it’s not a fancy sit down restaurant. I won’t be back.

Jimboy’s Tacos are a family tradition in my family. Before my children were born, after they were born, when grandkids came on the scene etc. We ate at Jimboy’s. This particular location has the best tacos in my opinion — no dripping grease, lots of cheese — delicious. I just had my college graduation party there this passed Friday night and the staff was thoughtful, friendly and made sure my family and I had a wonderful party.

I love the Chicken Tacos here! They are by far the best you can get from a fast food restaurant. This Jimboy’s location has been expanded with additional seating, TVs, and nice large bathrooms. I will come back often.

I cannot stressed enough whether to get hamburgers or tacos? I chose the right place… Jimboy’s Tacos is the best place to go! Especially for«in and out,» meaning togo. I always get original tacos with ground beef — every visits. Those tacos are incredible and they my favorite! I recommend you to go try it if you haven’t. Their food is fabulous!

It’s Jimboy’s! The grease capital and most notably the parmesan cheese covered tacos! But hey it’s really delicious. I’ve been eating Jimboy’s every since I first came to Sacramento twenty years ago. They are consistent and provide descent quality Mexican food. Great for hangovers!

I couldn’t decide between a one star or a two star review. I’m feeling nice today…2 stars. This location is definitely below average. I’m actually a huge Jimboy’s fan and frequently visit the location on Galleria as well as the location near Arco Arena in Natomas. The reason for the two star review is a mix of an above average wait time, below average food, and a tiny dining area. Forget sitting with your friends! I got the taco/enchilada place, and the taco didn’t come with their awesome parmesan cheese on the outside! What the heck! That is half the reason I like Jimboy’s so much. The other things were just okay. It wasn’t nearly delicious as the location on Galleria. Service was questionable as well. I won’t be back(but it was worth using the Groupon).

Very small joint, but there is some seating outdoors. Fast food and consistent, it’s just not quite up to the level I’m accustomed to. It’s OK in a pinch, but if you spend a couple more dollars you can go across the way to Khun Suda Thai for a healthier meal.

Food: Had the diablo shrimp tacos. It tasted way too salty. Ambiance: Small location and really crowded. Service: Fairly prompt for the amount of people they were serving. Price: Same as other Jimboy’s. Overall: I would recommend the Jimobys on Cirby and Sunrise instead since, it’s newer, cleaner and much more space.
