Okay, now that I have all that gushy/​mushy stuff out of the way, I seriously am in love with Dena’s services and massage therapy skills! I initially came in to see her for pain I was having after a car accident in my hip and leg, and she truly has a healing touch. I’ve been to many massage therapists in the past – some for pain-​related issues, some to help me unwind and relax – but Dena has the ability to combine both healing/​therapeutic work and a comforting/​relaxing touch at the same time. I’ve been seeing her regularly for about 9 months
She’s very intuitive during the massage and just seems to know exactly how much pressure you need. She has a personality and demeanor that makes you feel comfortable around her and communicate if you need more or less pressure in certain areas. Too many things I like, here is a list:
— She doesn’t try to talk to you during the session unless you want to talk (some days you just want to zone out and nap)
— She has great music (already have some favorites on her playlists)
— Her space has great ambiance and energy
— Her BodiBe products that she makes herself and uses during treatments feel so good on your skin! Not too oily, smells good, and some products you can purchase and use at home (I’ve gotten the body butter & scrub, lip balm, bath salts, and body oil)
It’s hard to even think about seeing another massage therapist after experiencing a session with Dena! Seriously! I went to Qua Spa in Vegas recently and chose not to get a massage because it just wouldn’t be the same. Her prices reflect the quality of the work she does, and it is definitely worth it to ask her about her package deals and go in regularly. You will truly enjoy it!

A friend recommended Dena to us and I have to say that I’m so glad I listened! My husband and I have been having chronic pain due to stress and we asked her to come to our house for a house-​call. She arrived on time with a lot of amenities and she was very professional. Her touch was very healing and I especially liked how she incorporated a lot of different modalities in her treatment, like massaging lymph. My husband is feeling so relaxed — he’s even sleeping through the night. I highly recommend her therapy — she is a gifted healer and I can’t wait to book her again!

Dena is a healer. She listens to you, and she listens and understands your body. She is amazing at Lymphatic massage, the best practitioner i have ever seen. And that should mean a great deal as i suffer from Lyme disease and have seen way more than my fair share. I have now made her part of my healing team and i see her once a week! She is the best!

I recently had a 90 minute massage from Dena and it was nothing short of incredible. She really listened to my body and applied just the right amount of pressure. Both of the massages that I received from her were outstanding and damn near flawless. This latest, 90 minute massage, took me to another place where I drifted in and out of euphoria (and sleep). The massage worked my whole body this time and I left feeling refreshed and renewed.
Dena provides what is easily the best and most professional massage on the Peninsula. In my previous post I lamented what I thought was a steep fee for her massage, but in all honesty her healing work is worth every penny.
This is 5 star work. Period.

I love Dena and I am very happy that she is a regular part of my health practice. Turning 50 recently, I am finding myself beleaguered with aches and pains. Too many turns on the track! Dena has the perfect touch. She has a great aura around her that immediately radiates. She came to my home and had great equipment, I felt very comfortable as did my dog. He didn’t want to leave her side! Dena has a line of products she makes herself and they are to die for. The great aromas mixed in with her professional hands are not to be missed!

Dena is amazing at reading into body kinks and problematic areas. I’m not usually fond of being touched because I’m super ticklish and usually get skirmish after a few minutes, but Dena has such a gifted healing touch! She helps the knots and kinks in my body dissipate and help lull me to sleep with her relaxing massages. You must go to her and experience a 90 or 120 minute massage. You will KO with happiness!
I also had the opportunity to try a few of her products. Not only is she super knowledgeable about the body she knows how to create her own concoctions of miraculous things. Her products are all homemade and made with organic materials containing no parabens. I absolutely love her brilliant super fruit antioxidant lip balm. I suffer from extreme dry lips that crack often and her lip balm is my go to item to help soothe my lips. It has a beautiful lingering açaí berry taste and the rich textures of almond and coconut oil.
You’ll love her sunny disposition, positive attitude and intuitive healing style which imo is the most important element when trusting someone to heal you. Go to her! You won’t regret it!

Dena has that certain healing touch that I look for in a massage therapist. From the very first moment she laid hands on me I knew she was a high level practitioner. Her style is intuitive — for me this was a mix of broad strokes and focussed upper back/​shoulder work, and just the right amount of pressure. Her presence is warm and caring and as an acupuncturist I’m more than confident in recommending her to friends and patients alike. Thanks Dena.

My body is so happy I found Dena for massage! I walk around with tightness everywhere as a result of crossfit and my job as a hairstylist. I’ve booked massages elsewhere and always came away dissatisfied, and unconvinced they knew how to read my body’s needs. Not the case with Dena! I recently had a full hour and a half massage from Dena, and it was fantastic. She is very upbeat and friendly when we first started. Her space is neat and well kept and the music set the atmosphere. She focused on all of the areas I asked and didn’t rush through anything. Dena’s style is very thorough and she dug in deep in my high stress areas. Dena is my go-​to when i need a massage, most definitely!

Dena is an excellent massage therapist! Her studio was very calm and tranquil. My massage was very well done and relaxing. She made me feel at ease and relieved me of the stress of my workday. I am planning on returning when I am next in need of a massage. Highly recommend!
