Store usually isn’t too busy, produce is generally better than the local supertarget. When they were out of stock on diet mt. chill the manager emailed me and apologized. Then set aside 2 bottles for me and charged nothing. I really appreciated that.

Great grocery store, located in wild & crazy Har Mar mall! Open 24 hours, which is great for those late-night grocery runs Shoutout to Millie, John and Charles from the 3am flavor crew!

If you want some good rotisserie chicken, this is the pace! The rest of the store is good, but I’m all about that chicken! Wish we had this in Orlando!

I actually like this Cub more so than the other Cubs out there. This location is not like all the other stores out there that they seem to be Supersizing. Easier for me to get in and get teh heck out faster. But to each their own I guess… I think they have a nice produce selection, organic section and bakery. All the basics I need and the prices are right.

This store is adequate but that’s it. I live in Stillwater, home of Cub’s flagship store, which is cheerful, huge, well-stocked, and humming with efficient employees. By contrast, this store seems… tired. I stop in to this location from time to time when I have business in Roseville. This Har Mar store never seems to have many people in it, yet checkout is always s.l.o.w. Maybe it’s a preponderance of seniors who walk the aisles at a crawl with three items in their carts and then take five minutes to write paper checks at the cash registers. Or the droopy, jaded personnel. On the plus side, produce selection, while not huge, is usually fresh. And while you’re at Har Mar, you can browse books at the giant Barnes & Noble or scrounge for deals at Home Goods.

WANTED. Witness to the banana abuse that occurred here on the evening of 3June2010(I want someone to corroborate my story): Produce guy was picking up the lonely, single bananas and then, rather forcefully, chucking them into a big plastic rubbish bin. When I asked him if they were getting tossed out as garbage, he said, «yup!» I asked, «why?» He said, «because they’re single and are bruised.» Watch out for this guy, you single people… So I thought, well… they sure the h*ll are(bruised) now… Man! Those slightly blemished/bruised bananas could have been used for plenty of other things, like hungry mouths that need feeding and who don’t have any money. They could most easily have been donated to a local food shelf, or given away to a fundraising group who wants to make banana bread or smoothies out of them. Boo! For their wasteful habit.
