Large portions, steaks can get pricey. For the same price, I’d pick another steak house in the area with smaller cuts but higher quality of food and service. With that said, I come here for their Sunday Brunch. $ 19.99 buffet pretty good selections but price not inclusive of drinks.

Great burger ! Service is the absolute worst I have ever seen. Lady next to our table tried flagging down waitress several times, I finally walked over to there favorite chat area and asked someone to help her. Honestly the only reason we got our order taken is I went and found a server. Of course it took forever to get! Never got our sides ! Never got tea refills ! Sat and waited to pay get a bill just wanted to get out ! Finally left money on table, I knew my math teacher was right and there would come a day when I could use it ! Only humorous thing about this place. But the burger was great ! Mike F

Service was great. Atmosphere and seating is nice. Ordered the bbq beef ribs tough, baby back pork ribs fell off the bone but tasted like it was boiled then finished with bbq sauce. Roasted Half Chicken was dry and small. Paid $ 30 for that combo and was hungry a couple hours after I got home. Dad ordered a ribeye bone in. It was okay. Sister ordered Pasta was okay. Daughter ordered chicken pot pie. It was okay. Niece had fish and chips. It was okay. I guess I was asking too much in terms of food. Lots of things on the menu from diner fair to bbq to Italian pastas and soups but nothing done deliciously well. This is like your typical corporate restaurant similar to Applebee’s and chilis. Come for happy hour meet some friends for drinks and appetizers but don’t expect much in terms of food quality. Just get a burger and fries and beer. Everything else can be done better at restaurants that specialize in that food.

I’ve now been here several times since my last review and the service has been excellent. I just had dinner with my mom and dad tonight and our server, Rebecca in the bar was so great. She was fun and personable, while taking care of all of our needs. I would highly recommend asking to sit in her area if you can. Oh AND Happy Hour is now extended until 9: PM!

We had amazing service from our server! I wish I could remember her name. I generally love claim jumper. The salad was so good– they toss their salads which I love. Get the house salad, it’s worth the price upgrade. My tri tip was excellent– they sauce they put on top is perfect. Shoestring fries are consistently great. One thing you can always count on is HUGE portions. I will be returning!

I have to say being Roseville is known for the dining, it is not easy to find a good solid, always consistent place for Happy Hour. Claim Jumpers is a good choice with plenty of seating, prices are good for the majority being«fried» food but its good and consider it Happy Hour. The drink selection is always and there are a few televisions. Friends of ours were in town from Seattle. Well it just so happened the 49ers were playing Seattle and it was a big game that mattered(at that time.) so we say«meet us at Claim Jumpers». We sat down in front of the biggest tv screen there was and ordered drinks and food. We looked at all the screens — and no 49ers yet. Then after awhile we realized the 49ers were playing but was not on the screen. The place had many six tables at the most. We would have gone to Bunz & Company but it is always packed and so loud with the same fried food so we choose Claim Jumpers. When we asked about the game the waitress was told by the bartender that the customer at a table wanted to see the team playing — a non California team but he was first to ask. She however was kind enough to say that we could sit over the side of where there is a(smaller) tv screen and she will put on the 49er game. Gheez, that it nice of her so we moved over as did three other tables. We watched the game on a smaller screen with NOSOUND. Meanwhile the one table with one guy sitting in the huge area but watching his cell phone more than he was watching the tv screen as he sipped on a glass of water. The other table looked over and said«we will not be back». We nodded and agreed. The big screen game ended and you might think that the bartender would offer to move the game to the big screen — nope. The other tables left before the game ended headed home to watch while we stayed as we were visiting friends from out of state. It put a little damper on the visit but we ate, drank, paid our $ 142 tab and left. Certainly will not go back there to watch a game… we will check other places locally. The reason for three stars is because the food ordered was good, the drinks were made well and the waitress was super sweet and was constantly apologizing to all the tables. We all felt bad for her.

Claim Jumpers never disappoints! Good Great food great large portions! Today we tried their Sunday Brunch for the first time. So very good so many different choices. Eggs benedict, enchiladas breakfast and regular, French toast, pancakes, waffles, eggs, omelet station, tons of lunch items, Turkey, mashed potatoes very good, mac and cheese, pizza, sliders. $ 4 all you can drink mimosa. Desserts of course are very great! All of the desserts they usually have. Just smaller versions.

I enjoy this place for their happy hour. Lots of good food for a nice price. My favorite thing here has got to be the mozzarella sticks… Until yesterday. 2 orders of mozzarella sticks were placed and when they arrived one was super dark, and the other normal. When we bit into the dark one, it was hollow! What’s a mozzarella stick without the cheese??? So we asked our waitress, Alanna, if we can get them sent back. She said she’ll tell the kitchen and take it off our bill(without replacing them). So we asked if we can get new ones and her response was, well this has been happening a lot so your next ones might be like this too. She then asks another worker if she’s been seeing the mozzarella sticks coming out like this and the other worker said it’s because they’re frying them for too long and the cheese is oozing out, which I thought was pretty obvious. So the new mozzarella sticks come out and they’re perfect. Hmmm how weird, they’re not hollow. Maybe because they weren’t overcooked!!! The burnt ones never should’ve came out of the kitchen in the first place. Also, when we initially placed our orders we asked for a couple sides of ranch. Didn’t get any. Nor did Alanna even come to check if everything was going OK or if we needed anything. After 7 of 9 plates came out, it was obvious the last 2 plates were forgotten. We called Alanna over(since she has no common courtesy to check on us) and asked about the 2 last plates. Her response was oh you guys want that out with your food… Uhhhh no b*tch, we want them with our dessert. Wtf!!! So annoying. When Alanna finally decided to ask us if we would be wanting some dessert, I couldn’t help but reject her offer and blurt out– No! But do you think we can get more water!!! Not once did she ever refill our drinks. And to make things worse; it wasn’t even busy! Because I’m a big customer service critic and it greatly effects my overall experience, that was the reason for the 2 stars. Just basing stars on taste of food I’d rate it 4 stars.

Good ‘big’ food. Service is fast. Taste fries. Kids love the frozen grapes. Loved the pot pie. Kids menu is limited for kids who like ‘adult food’. Good for big groups with lots of seating.

For my first time at any claim jumper, I had an excellent experience. Even with the restraint being pretty packed on a Thursday nigh all of the food I had was delicious and came out quickly. If you get Dana as a waitress you are in for a treat. She gave some of the best service I have ever had, making us feel welcome and never forget inn to check on us or make sure our glasses were kept full. Great meal.

Well, I couldn’t stay away(have been back several times) cuz I love the Lemon Pepper Zucchini. Same waitress was attentive and we enjoy their happy hour menu. Don’t know, but something about their simple food attracts us for cocktails and grub, regularly.

A month ago my 88 year old mother called Claim Jumper and made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner. There were to be five of us, and we confirmed the time and the table twice again. When we arrived it was a mob scene. Hundreds of people with and without reservations were waiting to be seated. We were told that there would be a wait of ATLEAST ONEANDHALFHOURS!!! This because they seated parties without reservations. Question for Claim Jumper… What’s the point of a reservation? You ruined Thanksgiving for scores of loyal patrons either because of your dubious motives or your pathetic mis-management. Or are you borrowing from the airline’s playbook and overbooking? Yes, we left the restaurant and went elsewhere. The term«Claim Jumper» was a pejorative term during the California Gold Rush. No surprise.

Show up early for a reservation, get given a pager and told to wait 45 minutes. Hour and a half later go to ask what the hold up is. They tell us we aren’t on the list waiting for a table. 0\5 stars if possible.

Amazing thanksgiving day meal! Turkey was the best I’ve ever had and my father said this was this the best Thanksgiving Meal he has EVER Had in his 63 years of life. Everything I tried was amazing including the prime rib, tri-tip, turkey(of course), and ham. Wait was slow but understandable due to the holiday even with reservation but bar was available. Only issues were that unfortunately the apple pie was cold and getting the check was a bit of a wait. Besides that it was a great experience.

We came for brunch and were very impressed. Despite an interesting interaction with the hostess and manager regarding the size of our 11 person party, our waitress was a superstar. The buffet had everything you could want for brunch and more. Truly a plethora of options. My favorite were the cream puffs. The mimosas, coffee, soft drinks and tea were all unlimited for $ 2.50 with the brunch purchase! Unbelievable!

110 degrees in Roseville with no relief in sight, what sounds better than a cold drink and dessert? Nothing. We popped in here for dessert and to escape the heat. The AC was glorious and freezing, the desserts did not disappoint. Drinks were ice cold. They were short on servers so it took a long time initially to get served and to get drinks, but once we were seated and settled, drink refills came fast and frequently which was lovely.

Came here to celebrate a friend’s bday during happy hour yesterday. I expected the bar area to be packed, but surprisingly not at all. They had a lot of different choices on their happy hour menu. Prices ranges from $ 3-$ 8 Ordered some buffalo wings, fried zucchini, and fish tacos. All under $ 15 and Everything was delicious. Only thing I hated was that you can’t move the tables. We were trying to move table together so everyone can sit next to one another, but we made it work.

Came here on Sunday the 19th for a late lunch/early dinner for my wife’s bday. The staff was very friendly and quick. Service was great. Here’s the food breakdown. 1. The bread. It’s this buttery, garlic, cheese bread and is addicting. So good! 2. Three people had the tri tip. It looked awesome, good sized portion, and all three had nothing but good things to say. 3. I had the BBQ burger. Just not good. They make all burger medium well so I asked to have it medium. It came out VERY well done. The meat is about half the size of the bun and can’t be eaten without a fork. Just not a good burger. I would not order this again. It comes with shoe string fries that are super salty and just meh. Overall review is that most of us liked our meals, the service was great, and the bread is awesome. I just wouldn’t order a burger from here. Next time I’ll try the meatloaf.

As of late, we’ve been into eating smaller lighter meals in the evening. But put in front of me an option to «strap on the feedbag,» I just may break. Coming here on a recent evening, I had good intentions. Walking in the door I spotted the giant chocolate cake plastered in chocolate chunks(see pic). After being seated, I opted for a beer(the house CJ Red Ale) and my wife opted for the(super sweet) Blood Orange margarita. I passed on eating any of the cheesy bread placed in front of me. After she ordered her Tri-Tip Dip, I ordered the BBQ Chicken Salad(healthy, right?) — then immediately decided that the«lightly fried» zucchini was a light app option(see other pics). Oh dear, I got the glare from across the table. Don’t believe«lightly fried.» Now, the zucchini was good but had a coating that reminded me of KFC Original coating; not so light. We(I) ate it. The main dish portions were a good size and more than she and I could(wanted to) eat. Not sure why I opted for a salad with BBQ sauce, that’s really not what I had in mind and think«chicken» is what sold it for me. I had a bite of her tasty Tri-Tip Dip and ate about half of the salad. The left overs made it home. It’s been a long time since we’ve been to a Claim Jumpers and would recommend this for a family gathering or a need to feel extremely full. Nice atmosphere and service was spot on with friendly genuine smiles. It may be a while, but we will probably return.
