After two hospitalizations in two years, followed by a year of depression and eating badly, I had really packed on the pounds. I had no idea what size I now was in clothing, I only knew everything that fit me before had become too tight. I happened upon this place by accident and thought it seemed like just what I needed. I walked in and was greeted pleasantly. I approached the saleslady and asked her what size she thought I was. She told me, and I wandered around selecting several items and headed to the dressing room to try them on. She was right about the size. I found of one the blouses to my liking, and when I went to check out I was even happier to be given 30% off the original price.

Just recently I visited this store. First time a long time. I forgot that they take Lane Bryant charge cards! Okay, so they don’t have a huge selection of «professional» style working clothes but the store located on Arden Way does. I found a cute new rain jacket with a hood in leopard print(Grrrah…). At the Arden store I found a few new tops and a pair of paints to update my professional wardrobe. Everyone I interacted with at both stores were engaging and helpful without being pushy! I feel back for Carol D. having a bad experience, but I think somethings have changed since she was there last.

Plus size women’s clothing is difficult to find, but I will drive miles out of my way to avoid this store. I was the only customer, was completely ignored, not greeted, not offered any assistance. I was looking at a $ 200 leather coat for pete’s sake. The associate walked completely around the store and never spoke one word to me. She saw me leaving, too! How did I know there was anyone working? By the pervasive odor of her cheap cologne — it filled the store!(Maybe that’s WHY I was the only customer).
