All right so this is the first time I’ve ever been to a tanning salon. My co-worker referred me here and told me their specials are great because they never expire. Maybe they’ve figured things out the last reviewers visited, because my experience here was fine. I showed up on a week night without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me right away. Can’t say I noticed any sunglasses or handbags for sale, although they did have a case of handmade jewelry that didn’t look out of place. The young woman who was on staff was efficient and helpful since I was a newbie, and showed me how everything worked, from the goggles to the machine itself. This will probably be my only visit since it was for health reasons, but I was happy with my visit — $ 13 for a session in the standing booth, with some reasonable sounding specials available too. Something I didn’t know as a first-timer — the tanning booth is LOUD! I did the stand-up booth and there’s a radio next to the booth with speakers the pipe into the machine. I turned the radio volume down before getting in and thought it was plenty loud, but then realized once I turned on the booth I couldn’t even hear it but thought maybe I’d mess everything up if I opened the door(I don’t know, I worry about weird things) so I just stood there with my own thoughts. Anyway, the place seemed clean and service was friendly. There were a few«regulars» who checked in at the same time as me, and the girl working remembered them and juggled helping me/checking them in very smoothly.
