We didn’t buy a spa here, but we shopped here a few times during our search. Everyone was knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions for us. They carry highly rated brands like Dimension 1 and Marquis. They have been in business for a long time, which gives me confidence that they would be a good business to buy from. The review would be five stars, but they were the only Sacramento area hot tub dealer we visited that had a delivery fee($ 300). You can argue that other dealers include that cost in their pricing, but I would disagree based upon my research for the pricing we received.

Sure, the hot tubs are great. It’s the terrible customer service that makes me never want to come back here. I dealt with the owner Howard Larsen when first coming here. Everything was great! He put my info in the computer, and promised great deals on everything we needed in the future. Cut to a year later. It’s time for a new filter. I call the man himself to see what the filter number is so I can price check online. He immediately gets his back up and says«you call me to pick my brain and waste my time? No dawg, I’m not giving you that information!» Then says goodbye and hangs up on me. Also, none of my info was in the computer! He personally put it in! Unbelievable. I’ve got a few friends that have the same spas, and I’m definitely telling them not to ever go here. Absolutely horrible. Go anywhere else and you’ll receive better service! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. On a personal note Howard, unless your selling drugs to children, you probably shouldn’t call your clients dawg. You’re 80, not 18.

I’ve had my spa about a year now and couldn’t be happier about it. I used it as a «cold» tub to cool off during hot summer and just warmed it up again this week. A great product from a great business

We purchased our Nautilus spa from Cal-X Spas early in 2011 and love it. I have a bad back and the spa really helps relieve the pain. My wife and I really enjoy it and so did our grand kids. We have had several minor mechanical issues, which is normal, and they have fixed both of them promptly and free of charge(both parts and labor). They stand behind their product. They had to take the spa down a very steep slope to install it and did so without complaint and at no extra charge. Howard and his wife are very service oriented, friendly and knowledgeable. We are quite pleased with our whole experience with Cal-X Spas and recommend them highly. Glad we bought our hot tub there and would do so again if we ever moved. Steve and Janet Quiggle

I purchased my Dimension One Spa The Aurora™ a year ago last February. It was delivered as promised and the crew was more than willing to accommodate me in the set up. I have since had two minor failures. Lights going out. I called the service desk and could not have had a better experience. The Rep scheduled a tech to come out and have a look and in no time he had figured out the issues called back to the shop and reported back me the parts may be out of warranty but they would see what they could do and they would call me as soon as they had word from the factory. To my surprise the very next week I got a call telling me they were covering the parts and labor and when would be a good time to send the tech back out? I was thrilled and still am! The relationship AFTERTHESALE Has been remarkable! They have the kindest most knowledgeable staff in the business in my opinion. This is NOT my first Spa and I did a ton of research before deciding on a Cal-X Dimension One Spa. I could not be happier!
