Zero stars! Don’t trust this guy if you want to get your keys! We Bought a new construction home. Brian Skarg was the lender the development offered for a discount in loan fees and they said he knows about the new development. I normally use my own lender and close my loans in 30 days or less due to our excellent credit, job history and funds available. This loan had to wait for construction. 10 days before l was to get my keys Brian decided he needed proof that my taxes were included in my condo HOA, a paper he never asked for and said he couldn’t get in time so he was going to call the seller and tell them I can’t buy my house! Screamed at me when I told him it was his fault for not asking for the paper before. Then he called the seller, lied and shared my private information to tell them I couldn’t buy the house! Really? Wow great customer service! No one should have to go through the nightmare he caused me, buying a house is stressful enough! There is no reason to use this guy! I have never had a problem getting a loan! It’s always been easy before! I called his boss, she closed my loan. I called my lender to verify she could still close my loan in time!

My husband and I worked with Brian to get our first home mortgage with Wells Fargo. He came highly recommended by our real estate agent as someone who«doesn’t play games.» Throughout the process, Brian was straightforward and communicative.
