Blastin’ Pies At 825 @ Blast 825 Roseville

I had a blast at the Blast 825 Pizza Event (and not just because I pre-​gamed)! My favorite thing was that it was a smaller event; no crowds, no long lines, no having to fight for a seat. The event was so relaxing and amazing, I had a great time during the entire thing. I enjoyed mingling with everyone and seeing what pizza creations everyone came up with!
I ended up at a table with Joey B, Jessica L, John H and Michelangelo and had a great time! They all had some amazing looking pizzas and Blaze also graciously provided salads and desserts as well but I was too full to try either one of them. I created my own pizza with Olives and Mushrooms and it was super tasty! They have a bunch of flavorings you can add at the end, but it requires a decision which I’m not the best at. I (of course) did partake in a Sierra Nevada Beer which was offered along with wine.
Another amazing event put on by Alex L and Katie G! I had a great time and it will go down in my books as one of my favorite events. I really like how more of the events lately are moving up North of Sacramento so I don’t have to take the trek down to the grid every time. :)

My first Elite event. Lightweight anxiety attack cus I’m actually shy (lol). There’s no +1 and I was like what the heckers, but ok yolo! Everyone was cute and nice… Two hours there was not enough cus I didn’t get the chance to literally say hi to some unfamiliar faces and the familiarS
To make a long story short cus after reading/​skimming through everyone else’s reviews (obviously better writers than I am), we all get the gist — it was EFFIN’ fantastic. A plus plus (A++). Come here for beers and pizzas! Pinky promise y’all that there will be no regrets! For those watching their waist lines, their salads are BOMB, specifically the aZn chicken salad. My goodness tasty, I should know cus I’m aZn myself hahahah. Double fisted both items to the point I needed to take ‘em home. Shoot that’s lunch for tomorrow at work!

Another amazing Unilocal event! We were all Blastin’ up Pizzas on Tuesdayyyyyy! Picking all our toppings because we chooosayyy!
It’s always a good time hanging out with the #yelpsacramento elite crew! Build your own pizzas from wheat, gluten free, or regular thin size personal pizzas options with a variety of toppings paired with wine, beer, a selection of fountain drinks and the different kinds of specialty beverages (I had to try it). It’s nice seeing fellow elites from previous events and meeting elites! We were able to customize our own salads as well! The Asian style salad was delicious!
I never knew that this place existed before the event. Now that I know, I’m going to tell everybody and their mamas to check this place out. Way better than Pieology because of the pizzas and the upbeat atmosphere. Do you know why this place is called ‘Blast 825′? Its quite clever.
Another great event! What more can you ask for spending time with good company, byo pizzas and salads, and trying out a new restaurant! Can’t wait for the next one!

My first ever Unilocal Elite Event and it was pizzalicious!
Wait, i just realized there is a restaurant named «Pizzalicious» in Indiana, but getting off topic, there is a new kid in town and it’s going against Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza and the ever so popular Pieology. In my humble opinion, Blast 825 Pizza may be the best ‘build-​your-​own-​pizza’ restaurant in the greater Sacramento and Roseville area.
I know it’s unfair to rate customer service since it was a Unilocal Elite Event ONLY, so rest assure, a follow-​up revisit is planned in the next week or two. Before entering the line and meeting all the cool people from Unilocal (**Joey, Alex, Eric clan, William, Michelangelo, Jessica, Jackie, Jenni, Kali, John, Katie, Alex, Asia, Paul, Lillian, Cindy, Molly, Jason, and of course Aline – Note: Sorry I was unable to meet everyone, but i will make the effort next time to catch everyone’s name and memorize their favorite drink**)
I was immediately blown away with the quality (e.g. dough selections, baking methods, fresh ingredients) and customer service. The menu was straight forward and simple. I ordered the the ‘825 California’ and was pleasantly surprised with their ingredient selection (e.g. white sauce, roasted chicken, roasted artichokes, roasted onions, spinach, & Squash). I would like to emphasize that this restaurant also has unlimited toppings selections, so go crazy!
Their salads were pretty good as well, i tried my friend’s Asian Chicken salad and it was a flavor bomb comparing to my straight-​forward cranberry chicken salad. Don’t get me wrong, the cranberry chicken salad was good but i like Asian flavors =I (insert meme)
All in all, great job Alex, Katie, and Dave Sherrell in organizing this event. More importantly, props to our awesome photographers – Asia and Paul. I had a blast!!! (pun intended)

First pizza of the event? That would have been mine. I’m not shy when there is a pizza bar in front of me. The other Unilocal Elite would just have to wait! Care to know what was on that pizza? Well I am going to tell ya anyway! After a serious barrage of questions to my Blast 825 pizza architect, Michelle happily educated me on menu options. With an almost intimidating sea of toppings in front of me, I opted to start with one of the seven Signature Pizzas and then customize it. I chose the BBQ Chicken Pizza on a white dough/​crust. Michelle created my masterpiece, giving me plenty of opportunities to customize it along it’s journey to the «really, really hot» oven. I chose fresh mozzarella (the ONLY way to go) and fresh jalapenos (not the pickled jalapenos, which are also available) added to the standard ingredients that come on that particular pie. As my pie was going into the oven, I grabbed a most refreshing Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and set out to socialize a bit.
It was great to see some familiar faces from a previous event I went to a few months back, and I also got to meet a lot of people I interact with on the Unilocal network for the first time. We couldn’t have asked for a better environment for this event. The interior was very clean, with a great modern design. The layout is your standard «build your own» Subway/​Chipoltle-​type of flow, and the dining room is trendy and utilizes the space efficiently. The management and staff were fantastic, and there was a great energy to the event. I met a brother in Names, Eric S, and we claimed and labeled our seating arrangement as the Table of Erics, by order of decree.
Not long after sitting at the Table of Erics, my pizza came. It looked and smelled amazing. Since it was the first OFFICIAL pizza of the event, Asia, the official event photographer, had to document the most momentous occasion with a photo of my food; I was honored. I’m looking forward to seeing all the «official» photos from the event. So… My pizza was absolutely delicious. It is much better than the BBQ Chicken pizza at Blaze, which I still like very much. The Blast 825 pizza, however, comes standard with sauce (Blaze does not). It’s a white sauce, and it is very tasty. It also comes with Roasted chicken, black forest ham, hickory smoked bacon, red onions and fresh cilantro. And of course, a drizzle of BBQ sauce over the top of the whole pie. Adding the fresh jalapenos gives it a great kick! I actually ate the whole thing.
The rest of the event was a selfie and photo-​taking frenzy with lots of laughs and good times. These events are a lot of fun and a great way to meet a lot of «really, really» cool people. I’m giving the experience five stars because the food and service obviously deserve the highest level of awesomeness. As I was leaving, Michelle, Blast 825 pizza guru, asked how my experience was and wished me well. She also handed me a BOGO card; totally cool! I’ll definitely be back! My Elite brothers and sisters also made the experience what it was. Looking forward to the next one.
Oh and one more thing… It is NOW okay for others, namesake or not, to sit at the Table of Erics. Enjoy!

Pizza is, by far, my favorite food eva! I was super excited to get into this event! I was able to attend the grand opening of the Blast 825 in Rocklin so I knew we were in for a real treat!
First off, this location is a hop, skip and a jump off of I80. The interior has several different seating options from booths, to hi-​tops to tables and chairs. I think I recall seeing a patio, but it wasn’t open for this event. The staff was very welcoming to us crazy, hungry Unilocalers busy mixing and mingling while they were trying to get our orders and even bring us our food when we walked away from the front to greet another Unilocaler! Thanks for that guys!
This new fast-​casual style is really taking off. Dare I say it started with Subway, but seems to have been mastered by Chipotle with their non-​GMO and health conscious menu options. Well, move over Chipotle, you’ve got some competition! Of the three major pizza fast-​casuals, Pieology, Blaze and Blast, there’s subtle differences between them. For me, it’s all about the crust! Pieology has a cracker/​flat/​crunchy style crust with skimpy toppings. Blaze has a pressed, chewy crust with a large variety of toppings, but Blast has — by far, the best crust. I spoke with Jacob, the store manager about the way Blast makes their crust versus the others. Pieology and Blaze both press their dough but Blast (at the recommendation of Jacob while in the experimental phase) opted against pressing the dough and actually making a real pizza using real processes like kneading. What he explained is the difference in the way the dough reacts to CO2 and how kneading it allows the CO2 to evenly distribute allowing for a fluffier, lighter, fuller flavored crust. Well done guys, well done! Aside from the amazingness of their pizza, they also make their salads fresh, on the spot with the ability to customize. This is always a real bonus for us vegans! Speaking of vegan, they also offer Daiya cheese annnnd don’t charge extra for it, unlike some of the other fast-​casual pizza joints.
But, enough with the science lessons. This event was awesome! Great pizza, great drinks, great service, great Unilocalers! Another memorable event and another reason I love being an elite Unilocaler! Special thanks to our fire headed CM Alex and his amazing sidekick Katie annnnd of course all the wonderful staff at Blast for giving us the royal treatment!

Thank you Blast 825 Roseville for hosting an intimate Elite event. Blast closed its doors to the general public for Unilocal Elites. Upon arriving, we saw the manager handing out pizza coupons to the public, for their inconvenience. What a generous gesture!
We were given menus while waiting in line to order. Personal pizzas with your choice of toppings. The pre baked dough came in either wheat, gluten free, and original. I ordered the I-​5 pizza, with several different meats, I chose the original dough, with mozzarella, and I added fresh mushrooms, black olives, fresh jalapeños, and red onion. I also ordered the Mediterranean salad, with a glass of Chardonnay. I loved the fresh made salad, it was huge, enough leftover for lunch the next day. My pizza came out within minutes, it was scrumptious! Not too thin, not too thick. The dough was the perfect taste and consistency.
We were notified that you could order an extra pizza to take home. I ordered the same exact pizza and hubby, who attended a similar event, commented that this pizza was much better and tastier, filling but not making you hungry an hour late, as if you just ate Glamorized Wheat Thins.
Thank you to the courteous staff and wonderful managers. Thank you general manager, Jacob W, for the cookie and S’more, and not making me feel awkward by handing you my gratuity! I was a bit confused as to who or where to place it?!

Had a blast at the Blast825 YEE in Roseville! Was one of the first five folks in line for a point-​and-​pick pizza pie. They had a half-​and-​half special available but essentially everyone was free to put unlimited toppings on our pizzas. This meant telling the assemblers to «go crazy» at each station (sauce, cheese, meats, veggies). They had white, wheat, and gluten-​free dough available.
For my first meaty pizza, I went with wheat, and used their signature pizza «I-​5» as a base (marinara sauce, black forest ham, italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, crumbled meatball, and crushed red pepper flakes IN BETWEEN the sauce and the cheese!) with the Blast Blend of cheese, as well as added-​on bacon, black olives, and roasted mushrooms to top it all off. They even brought the pizza to my table, nice touch. Delicous. The chili flakes were in every bite! The fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade (Blastade) was good too! Beer and wine also complimentary for the Elite Unilocalers. I cannot believe that I consumed the entire 10″ meat monster of a pizza by myself but it was so worth it. I also got a second pizza to go, this time on original dough, with the «825 California» signature pizza favorite as a base (white sauce, roasted chicken, roasted artichokes, roasted onions, spinach and squash), again with the Blast blend of cheese, and added bacon and sundried tomatoes. I didn’t get a salad this time, but did go for the gooey chocolate chip cookie marshmallow sandwich dessert to take home as well.
My first time at Blast, similar to the idea of its neighbor Blaze Pizza, but a unique experience nonetheless. The dough is handmade daily, and the ingredients are farm-​to-​fork fresh. They have gluten-​free and vegan options too! It was a nice small Elite Event, good to see familar faces (Michelangelo, Jackie, Carol) as well as meet other veteran Unilocalers (Heidi, Maria, Tammy) and new Elites (Valerie, William). Thanks Alex L. and Katie G. Unilocal swag included water bottles, chapstick, doggy bandanas, reusable bags, pens, etc. Staff was great. If you’re coming back as a regular customer, for $ 7.95 you can build your own pizza or try one of the signatures if you can’t decide. Salads also cost the same price ($ 7.95) to build your own or choose from a favorite. Drinks and desserts are around $ 2. Next time I will definitely try the pesto or BBQ sauces!

Awesome event! again!
When i walked in saw lots of familiar faces and friends as well. Then went straight ahead and ordered the food. Went to the pizza station and was excited to see all the different selections of toppings they had was like a kid in a candy store.
i had ordered the gluten free dough. with half white and half red. since i wanted to try all the sauces they offered. i went creativity with my pizza. for the red half side of the pizza, i put spicy marinara with light drizzle of bbq sauce. i chose meatballs for the topping. so it turned out to be a spicy buffalo chicken style pizza.
For the white side i used the white sauce and pesto drizzle on top. for the meat i have chose chicken. so this side of the pizza turned out to be a ying yang pesto chicken pizza.
i have included all the veggies on the whole pizza. i have chased the roasted squash, caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, red onions, green and red bell pepper, and jalepeno, cherry tomatoes, with a light touch of cilantro on top, and olive oil on top of the veggies.
i wanted to add spinach and the chef said they can’t add that until last because it burn inside the oven and won’t taste good. i didn’t mind since i am a veggie lover. i can go vegetarian if i want to but my mouth always drool a good medium rare filet mignon. hehe they told me the order will take a bit longer since the pizza was on a larger side than all the other Unilocalers.
i had next went to the fountain station and got me a blood orange blastade. and the barista told me his favorite was the strawberry lemonade with a splash of sierra mist. i liked it a lot and end up getting seconds. also i had to get myself a pale ale since beer and pizza is best combo. i also tried the white wine and it was good as well and tasted like a sprite lol and refreshing.
the 2 general managers were friendly and told us a brief history of the restaurant. they even checked up on us and asked if we were doing good? and if we liked it. we all had a busy mouth nomming on the cheesy pizza and gave them a thumbs up on how yummy the food was. i end up ordering a asian chicken style chicken salad. it was a great salad in a big stainless steel bowls which was so mmmm. the dressing was refreshing and had a light sesame flavor to it too.
met some cool Unilocalers and we sat down in a big long table. we even named our table the big kids table lol since we all like take selfies haha. it was fun and a blast. they were new to these Unilocal events so it was great meeting newbies.
overall the pizza was amazing! it was so spicy because i added some jalepenos and they were on fire. i forgot i had went to the spice rack and chose a bottle to spice up my pizza. i got the blast spice and it was addicting! i sprinkled it in almost everything and bite too. it was awesome on the pizza and salad as well. it reminded me of ms dash but a more salty one. i would definitely said the crust was really crispy eating there. i didn’t finish my pizza so i had boxed it togo and the pizza was still crispy for my midnight snack! i was like wow! this place rocks!

My very first Unilocal event, it was finally good to put a face to all these check in and reviews that i’ve been reading.
I mets some new people who were very friendly towards me. Such a small world Heidi H, and I actually know some people from the town I’m from, which made for a great convo. After talking to some Elite Unilocalers a bit, it was time to make our pizzas. I was third in line. The staff was awesome at helping with all the choices from the different crusts, all the different meats and veggies. Now for the waiting game, honestly I thought that a pizza that only took 4 min to make couldn’t taste very good. Boy was I wrong. I have to say my pizza which included Wheat crust, marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella, bacon, pepperoni, salami, onions and garlic was probably one of the beat pizzas I’ve ever had. I ate just about all of it. As for the staff. They came around numerous times to see if we needed anything or just to say hi.
All around great experience and I can’t wait to see everyone again.

Unilocal Elites blasted their way to Roseville for some delicious, individual, custom-​created pizzas at Blast 825! We were treated to pizza, salad, cookies, and drinks, all from a hard-​working and friendly crew. If you haven’t been to one of these fast-​food pizza joints (e.g. Pieology, Blaze, Trademark), it’s the same concept as Chipotle or Subway. You choose your crust (original, wheat, or gluten-​free), sauce (white garlic, pesto, marinara, zesty marinara, or olive oil), cheese (I recommend the Blast blend of mozzarellas), and the unlimited meat and or veggie toppings. Yes, UNLIMITED toppings. It gets blasted in a 825 degree oven and within minutes, your custom, hot pizza is done. The best part of Blast’s pizza is how perfect their crust comes out. No soggy or burnt crust here! Not only is it crispy but it is thick and fluffy enough to actually hold all of the 12+ toppings that you couldn’t help but add to your creation. Their is a rack at the counter of different and interesting spices, besides the usual parmesan and red pepper flakes to top off your pizza. Their salads are also a meal itself. They have about 4 or 5 to choose from, and they are all put together right when you order (like the pizza) and tossed in dressing. They do not skimp on the pizza toppings or salad ingredients. The salads are served in huge stainless steel bowls bigger than my dog bowls at home! Delicious and fresh ingredients! In addition to the soda fountain, they had 4 really refreshing lemonades to choose from (regular, strawberry, blood orange, and raspberry), a house red and white wine and Sierra Nevada IPA. They also had chocolate chip cookies and a take on the S’more cookie, which they warmed up in the oven before serving.
Everything, from the service to the food to the extremely clean dining area was awesome! Thank you to Sac Unilocal (Alex and Katie), Photostudio29 (Asia and Paul), and the amazing staff/​management/​owners at Blast 825 for a great and generous event!

What a remarkable, unforgettable Unilocal Elite Event that I’ve ever visited at Blast 825 Pizza in Roseville last night. After I friended well-​known and familiar Elite Unilocalers and newbies Elite Unilocalers, I was on hooked to met everyone for the very first time, and I’m very glad about it. This is my 2^nd YEE after I participated the Hendrick’s Gin presentation at Red Rabbit Kitchen and Bar in Midtown last month. This Elite event is defiantly the best event that I’ve ever participated!
This is the first time that I’ve been to Blast 825 Pizza right here in Roseville, and of course, the service, manager, and the supervisor have done a great job for managing this event a success! I really appreciate for the effort. BTW, I’ll try to review this company soon, so stay tune folks.
I started the BYO pizza. They have an amazing handmade dough selections from flour, wheat, gluten free, etc plus toppings of meat, veggies, fruits, etc. They also have a BYO or signature salads too, and of course, as a Unilocal Elite member, it’s free to eat, so it’s a big plus!
Finally, I was having a great time chatting and meeting my Unilocal buddies from Aline, Lillian, Maria, Alex T, Joey, Eric S, John H, Erwin, Michelangelo S, Alex L, etc. for having a great hangover party. Of course, I’m always enjoyed using my monopod (aka. the selfie stick) so I can make selfie pics everytime I go, and it’s such a wild, fun experience.
In the end, as I mentioned, this YEE Blastin’ Pies at 825 is the coolest, and the awesomest Elite event ever! Thanks Alex L and Katie G, plus Blast 825 workers, and photographers Asia and Paul for having the best anticipated Elite event experience of a lifetime!

I have never taken so many selfies before this Unilocal Elite event. It was definitely a selfie-​filled event!
I have passed by Blast when I have been in the shopping plaza but have never eaten here. I’m so glad I got introduced to this restaurant with the rest of the Unilocal Elites! I love trying out new places! I always go to Galleria and now I have a quick and easy option for food when I go shopping!
I got the gluten-​free and vegan pizza. I have been to a few different make-​your-​own places, including the Blaze Unilocal event so it was nice to have a comparison with all the different pizza restaurants. What makes this place stand out from the rest is that they don’t charge extra for vegan cheese! +1 for me as I like making vegan choices whenever I get the chance. They have more veggie variety too such as squash and dried tomato. Just writing this review is making me crave Blast – good thing I have leftovers in the fridge!
This Unilocal Elite event was also different from the rest as there were no +1. As a result, it allowed every to mingle and introduce each other while taking selfies. It was nice putting a face to the Elite Unilocal reviewers that I see on Unilocal all the time and get to know everyone better. You all are so friendly! I’m so glad I can be a part of this community!

I’m still baffled that the regular price for a pizza with unlimited toppings here is under $ 8. What a value! I would say Blast is more filling than Pieology or Blaze, when it gets down to it. I appreciated the gluten free crust option as well! I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and added extra veggies and meat to it. Absolutely delicious in every way. No complaints have I!
As always, there was plenty of fun to be had here. I met a lot of new Unilocal friends and really had an excellent time socializing at this more intimate event. Beer, wine, tasty pizza, and yummy cookies for everyone!
I really enjoyed the laid back feel of this event. There wasn’t a massive amount of people this time so mingling, chatting, and taking selfies with William L.‘s handy dandy Selfie Stick was occuring. We had plenty of room to hang out and take silly photos. Very chill.

A few very lucky Elites were invited to the «Blasted Unilocal Elite Event» which included a personalized pizza, salads, and adult beverages. YUM. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a super friendly staff and the enthusiastic Director of Operations, Dave Sherrell. Dave was kind enough to explain the concept (the pick-​your-​own-​toppings-​make a personalized pizza if you want set-​up) and seemed eager to have a bunch of hungry Unilocalers descend upon his crew. You cannot beat a warm welcome, no matter where you go.
At all the tables, the « Unilocal Fairies» had placed swag, and the décor of the place is modern and welcoming. With high tops, booths and regular tables, there is a variety of seating to get comfortable and stuff your face.
I was eager to get in line and put on my feedbag. Due to this being a small event and the well trained staff, creating my custom pizza was quick and easy. I was incredibly impressed with the selection of cheeses and meats. Can you say MEAT BUFFET? I had a gluten free crust, with homemade marinara and the «blast blend» cheese (amazing and melts sooooo well). Also, I piled on a variety of fresh veggies (sometimes they have fresh pineapple, amazing!) and smoked chicken which they also make. Roasted garlic, smoked mushrooms and fresh basil snipped on top when it came out of the oven made my feast delish! They also have about 10 finishing salts and toppings including «Fajita», «Garlic Salt», «Spicy» and «Cajun» to name a few.
I saw cookies with chocolate and marshmallows, huge HUGE salads, and beer and wine. They also have a variety of sodas, and four, count em’ four different blends of lemonade. Seriously Blast? You rock! What more could you want?
So what makes this different from the other DIY pizza places? The crust. It is hand formed, not put in a machine. It puffs up and is not a flat cracker. The Manger, Jacob, explained that they make it by hand every day, as well as creating their own sausages and using the freshest ingredients they can find. Farm to Fork in full force. The proof is in the pie, and it was amazing.
It was so fun to see Unilocalers come out to play. I loved all the selfies and met super cool elites that I had never had the chance to socialize with before. I sat in a cushy booth and drank the chardonnay while having a blast. Eating at blast. Har. Har. :)
Thank you Blast 825 for making us feel welcome and allowing our bellies to get full. Major shout out’s to the incredible staff that assisted us in every way, and marketing guru Katie G. and CM Alex L. for setting up this event. I will never forget your flaming hat. I am going back to get a huge salad and try the other crust soon. Drooling.

Whoop … there it is! A blast at Blast — another great Unilocal Elite Event. A group of Unilocalers getting together and at each event I meet more new Unilocal friends and now starting to not feel like the new kid at the party. It’s great to see new Elites and YEE first timers and pull them into the group — sitting in the corner is not allowed.
Today, we ate pizza and drank beer (or wine). It was a DIY pizza except you just direct the show (no touching the food or oven. that’d be a bad idea). From behind the counter, you direct the action of the pizza board from dough, sauce, and abundant toppings. If you prefer someone else decide, choose a pre-​configured option. The pie glides away into in the very hot oven, find a seat, and minutes later, your pizza pie arrives. It was fun to see what others decide make in their creation. All vege, all meat, a mash-​up of both or going minimal for that subtle approach.
There was swag to be had but more importantly, the mingle and socializing with other Unilocalers including our host Alex L and Katie G. Kudo’s again to our hosts and to Blast 825 that suited up, prepared, performed, and delivered on queue!

This personal pizza kraze has been taking over Sacramento. When I received the email for this event, I assumed it was Blaze Pizza again, but I took another look and thought another one??? Though I RSVP’d I did not have high expectations. Wow was I proven wrong!
After reviewing all topping options and the menu of pizzas, I decided to make my own concoction. My pizza consisted of; regular dough, spicy marinara sauce, bacon bits, roasted mushrooms, pineapple, red onions, sun dried tomato and topped with fresh jalapeño slices. I have to say the sweet, spicy, savory pie was #dabomb!!! The toppings were fresh, the dough was perfect and the spicy marinara sauce was thick, spicy and zesty! The Blast cheese which was a mixture of mozzarella, asiago and something else was a great combination of cheeses and melted perfectly. I love that the toppings do not make the dough wet or gooey. The option of roasted mushrooms is great because raw mushrooms carry water.
To top it off I also order a Chicken Cesar salad, which arrived in a huge salad bowl full of zesty chicken and lovely dressing (it was so large I had to get a to-​go box).
The staff at the Blast was also amazing. They were hustling around, all smiles and great customer service. Their manager should be proud because everyone did a wonderful job. Though Roseville is not my neck of the woods, I can see myself coming back soon. Blast 825 Pizza is now my new favorite personal pie place.

Love love love that you can pic your toppings and have as many as you want!!! I know hard to believe but they can sure pile the toppings on. I like the fact you can see the toppings as well, so just point and choose. Everything was so fresh and looked great. I chose a gluten free crusted pizza with white sauce and went crazy with the veggies and jalapeños and pepper flakes baked in. It was fabulous. I actually didn’t even THINK about stopping until I only had a few prices left. Yes I ate the WHOLE pie and probably shouldn’t have but I didn’t eat all day in anticipation so it should all work out. I cannot wait to bring the family back here to show it off. The staff was so helpful and were really knowledgable about the menu and offerings. I sure hope you tipped those servers Unilocalers! I know I had to go looking for the tip jar but I did find it hope you did as well. They really outdid themselves for our group. Thanks again Alex and crew for such a wonderful event and for having me once again. Can’t wait to see what you have in store this summer! «Bring it on»

Another fantastic Unilocal event put on by the people at Blast 825 and Alex. I came here expecting this place to be like all the other fast pizza joints like Pieology and I was pleasantly surprised. I noticed the dough wasn’t pressed with a machine like the other places. This dough was kneaded by hand and because of that, it was chewy delicious and thicker. I decided to order the original dough with white sauce and customized my pizza by adding artichokes, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, onions and many other toppings. I love how it was unlimited topping and they were generous with it too. All the employees were nice and helpful. When I finally got my pizza I loveddd it. It was customized to whatever I wanted and it was delicious. I still cannot believe how good that dough was and how fast the pizza came out.
I also liked how if you ordered a salad it was custom made versus other pizza chains who pre-​make the salads and keep it in a to go box. This way you know your salad is made to order and fresh.
Service here was top notch and it was nice sitting around catching up with my fellow Unilocalers. Thanks for another successful Unilocal elite event Alex and the good people at Blast 825.

Okay. Maybe Shakespeare didn’t say THAT (unless he reincarnated into Quentin Tarantino in our timeline), but nonetheless, the good folks at Blast 825 Roseville shared with us the best pizza that Roseville has to offer! And it was dam yummy!

Because as King Henry V passionately conveyed on Saint Crispin’s Day, «We few, we happy few, we band of Unilocalers» …got to enjoy pizza! (Shakespeare actually DID write that… sorta…)
Delicious! Cheeesy! And (Saint) Crispin! (Just the way I like it on the edges) And for those of us lucky Elites that were in attendance of this Blasted Unilocal Elite Event (YEE), it was asmall group (with no +1s even), and so we each got to enjoy a free personalized « Unilocal» pizza courtesy of Blast 845 Roseville. ;)
THE SETUP
Blast 825 Roseville is located in the strip mall across the way from the Roseville Galleria. But don’t let that dissuade you from giving it a whirl.
= The location is very easy to get into from the freeway (we came from I-​80);
= A large parking lot;
= The restaurant is airy, colorful & smells awesome inside!;
= The staff are amazingly pleasant and fun to interact with!:

There was no limit to the blasted madness we could inflict upon our pizza-​pie! I got to choose from amongst their many blasted items:
* Their Blasted Dough (White Flour)!;
* Those Blasted Sauces (Spicy Tomato Marinara)!;
* Thee Blasted Cheeses (Mozzarella, Parmesan, Bleu);
* Thy Blasted Meats (Spicy Pepperoni & Sausage); and,
* Thereuponwith Blasted Veggies (Roasted Mushrooms, Onions, Black Olives)!
Dam! Talk about my blasted pizza! I loved the blasted thing! I want blasted more, dammit!

My favorite item? SRSLY! NO JOKE: those ROASTED MUSHROOMS were da bomb! Never had them before at any other pizza joint! Caesar & Jacob let me in on a secret that they are specially seasoned while they are roasted. My god! *Tonguegasmic!* THAT, Blast 825, is your secret culinary-​weapon! *BRAVO!*
PIZZA EDUCATION
I asked GM Jacob W. point blank what makes his pizza better than say pizzas put out by competitors, such as Blaze or Pieology, and he candidly responded that they put a lot of attention in making the best dough by hand — the foundation of every pizza — so there are no built up gases that you tend to get with mechanical reproduction.
FARM-​TO-​FORK
In addition, Jacob continued to discuss how they pride their use of the freshest, and most local, ingredients — produce, meats, dairy, etc. — so that whatever pizza pie you request made-​to-​order, you are going to have THE BEST pizza.
