As a first-​time home buyer, we really appreciated the time and patience that Kim dedicated to our home purchase. I just knew it wasn’t going to be an easy process especially since the previous real estate agent didn’t leave a good mark. We didn’t have much luck, weren’t getting anywhere with the home buying process and he didn’t bother to follow up with us when he left on vacation. That’s what led me to Kim, my friend referred me after Kim closed escrow on her home!
With a great Realtor like Kim, she made the home buying process a lot easier and was always available through phone, text and email to answer any questions we had which made it less nerve wracking. Kim found a bunch of potential homes in the Citrus Heights, Carmichael and Fair Oaks area and also reviewed the ones that we found. We found homes mainly online at
. Not only did she find most of these homes, she took the time to drive to the location to check out the homes beforehand so that she could explain what the houses were like. I’ve never heard of a real estate agent that did this and was amazed when my friend told me about it! We drove to many homes and we started to build a preference and knew somewhat what we were looking for in a home. For me it was a walk in closet and for my hubby, it was a 3 car garage!
There was a home that was *the one* with a nice front yard with beautiful backyard stone work. It was the complete package and the home didn’t need much fixing up but there was one issue, it was a short sale and although Kim did input our bid, she explained all the advantages and disadvantages of short sales and foreclosed homes, I knew we were in for a long wait since short sales or anything but. In fact, they should change the name to ‘longer than usual-​sale’. Within a short period of time looking, we finally found our home! We were able to close escrow and move in within 3 months. All thanks to Kim Lucero who made it possible!
We have a couple friends and my aunt who are in the process of looking for a home in the area as well and it’s no doubt that Kim will be the only preferred Realtor that we choose to recommend!
