A-1 Process Serving-Matt Patterson

We tried to use Mr. Patterson for serving papers on behalf of a client in Lincoln. While Mr. Paterson’s fee was reasonable, he was completely unable to get the papers served. Service of process is as much an art as a science, but in my opinion, Matt only attempted the bare minimum «knock and leave» to attempt service of our papers. When the person on whom the papers were to be served didn’t answer the door, Matt left.
Since Matt was unable to accomplish a relatively simple serve, we had to take matters into our own hands. On our first attempt, we were able to serve the papers. When I called to inform Matt about this, and asked what techniques he used to get the defendant to come to the door, Matt criticized me for commenting on how he did his job. When I stated that I was a lawyer, and fully competent to comment on methods of service, and that I found his method lacking, he said, «you’re nuts.» I was calm and professional, but yes, I was critical. When my client has to pay my hourly rate to accomplish what should have been done two months ago, I feel justified in commenting on my vendor’s performance.
I know it’s tough to find a good process server north of Sacramento, but I advise anyone reading this to look elsewhere.

IF you need a Process Server this is the guy. He was friendly, helpful and got the job done VERY quickly. I had to serve my Ex divorce paperwork and missed filling out some of the fields, Matt caught the discrepancy, got back to me quickly and I was able to get it corrected and back to him in a day or two. That saved me both the time and money of having to re-​serve her later.
His prices are reasonable and unlike some other places he’ll keep trying «till the job is done» (as he says). I hope that I never have a need for this type of service again but if I or any of my family /​friends ever do, I will call Matt Patterson!
