Great experience all the way around. The shop is clean and well appointed. Gen and her sidekick Sagan are the best. The back piece that Gen collaborated with and designed for me turned out beautifully. Her background in art clearly comes through in the details of her work; clean lines, beautiful shading and incredible color palate.

I’ve been coming to Guts’n Glory for a while now. Gen and her rotating cast of artists are incredibly talented. The shop also lends gallery space curated by a local artist — you can tell that the whole GnG crew is deeply passionate about art of all shapes and sizes. The space is warm and welcoming and the artists are approachable (not at all intimidating like so many other places). Professionalism and health & safety are held in high regard here. If you’re looking for a beautiful custom piece, you can’t do better than Guts’n Glory.

I highly recommend Guts ‘n Glory Ink. The shop is clean, beautifully decorated, and home to a rotating Gallery of phenomenal artists. The vibe of the shop is very warm, welcoming, and professional. I have two pieces done by Gen Pistol, one large piece on my arm and another on my ankle. I plan to have many more pieces done by her in the future. Gen explains her sanitation procedures and opens her sterile instruments in front you every appointment regardless of whether or not you are a returning client. In my experience she will work with you to produce a unique and custom piece, she is consistent, professional and deeply talented.
