I am not even comfortable giving 1 star for this experience. We have never been treated so badly at a restaurant. We had a party of nine. 8 adults and 1 little one in a high chair. We we’re celebrating a milestone birthday for my son. He had chosen to eat there and was really excited about the special dinner out. We waited over an hour and a half for our table after being told the wait was around 30−40min. At the hour mark we asked where we were on the list and the hostess said they were just cleaning the table off and our party was next on the list to be seated. Another 35min. passed before our party was called to be seated. When we got to the table there was not enough seats for everyone in our group. We asked the waitress if ther was another chair coming to which she said she had to get permission from the manager to add a chair to the table. The manager came to the table and said that we must have told the hostess the wrong number of people in our party but she would overlook OUR mistake and take us to a table that could accommodate 1 more chair. We got to our new table and were ready to just eat and salvage our special day with our family. After a few minutes our waiter greeted us, not by say hi how are you or what can I get you to drink. The first words to us were«ok, the first rule I have is that we do not get peanut shells on the table.» He began to move on to tell us what his next rule was, but at this point we were done with this awful experience and said never mind we don’t need to be treated this way. We got up and left. Needless to say this ruined my sons special day he was apologizing for picking roadhouse for his special dinner. Which made me feel horrible that his special day had turned out so badly. We have come to this roadhouse on a number of occasions and we have always enjoyed the food and the service has always been ok. We have never had any problems before. After our experience tonight I do not plan on ever returning to this location or recommending it to anyone else.

We had a great experience. This is a super casual eatery with low prices for quality food and a fun atmosphere for families or couples wanting a night out while not breaking the bank or having to get slung up in full drag. ;) They also do not allow open carry of firearms. I won’t done anywhere that does allow it. They were accommodating of my family, including my son’s service dog, and made us feel completely at ease. I admit that I have a tendency to be a bit of a snob when it comes to dining experiences and was NOT looking forward to this outing near my in-laws new house. The idea of going to a texas themed chain steakhouse restaurant made me groan and my eye roll. I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. Our server Kade was exceptionally prompt & attentive, the rolls with the cinnamon butter were like food crack and our food was absolutely great. We will definitely be back.

Seated with no bread. Had to ask for it. No kids activity page/menu. Had to ask for it. Husband got cold coffee — and she looked at him like he had 2 heads when he asked her to swap it out. She forgot about my drink. Had to ask twice for it. Fries tasted twice-cooked and chewy. FIL’s steak wasn’t well done. Medium well at best. Ugh. No thanks. What happened to this place???

We went to this location on Friday to celebrate my wife’s achievement. We order appetizer, Caesar salad, roasted Prime rib and a bottle of beer. When my wife found a yellowish broken tooth in the salad. All went into hell. We lost all the apatite and walked out of there. But we have too pay the beer. It is so ridiculous!

We came here on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy. They allow you to call ahead but that didn’t help out much as they had given away our table be the time we got there. That is fair I guess. We waited(party of 7) in the waiting room and had some nuts. It took about 20 minutes and we were seated. It took a turn for the worse when they told us they ran out of Prime Rib(after we ordered). Why couldn’t they have told us that when we sat down. Yes, I suppose they could have run out right then but even so, it should not have taken so long after we ordered to be notified. The service was decent, nothing special, and the prices about right. The meal was not the best, but again, for the price, you get what you pay for.

One of my family favorite spot. The service is a little on the«teenage«side, so not great or caring. They do have some great kids. They have no vegetarian menu just FYI. But the lettuce is always fresh;)

This is one of my favorite casual restaurants. I come to this location about once a month. The atmosphere is great here and so is the service. Their food and service is pretty consistent. In my experience, they are quick to take your order and the food comes out at a reasonable time. Most of the seating is wooden booths which, personally, I really like. The food is always great when I come here and the prices are very reasonable. I can only think of one time that I had an issue where it took us too long to get our orders taken. No big deal. This can happen at any restaurant. They don’t appear to open for lunch on weekdays. I sometimes forget this and drive over there only to find they are not open. Doh! They have peanuts to snack on before you are seated. You can throw your peanut shells on the floor and that’s ok. They are not the only restaurants that do this. They will sweep that up before the night is over, everything will be fine. LOL They always start you out with the rolls and cinnamon butter. I always order sweet tea. It’s quite sweet and fresh brewed.(none of that Gold Peak nonsense) I usually get a Caesar salad with my meal. From what I understand, they make their own dressing. It’s really good. Their home-made ranch dressing is great too. They have a good kids menu and they bring out the crayons for the kids. A lot of places do this, but not all. It keeps the kids occupied. My child enjoys it when the staff comes out and does a little dance. If it’s your birthday, be prepared to sit on a horse saddle while they sing some silly birthday song. I have ordered most of the items on their menu. I have never tasted something there that I didn’t like. Seriously. ribs, chops, pork sandwich, chicken … delicious. Their steaks are great for the price too. The baked potatoes have a salted skin. I really like that. Their salads are delicious and the portions are big. I eat too much when I go there, that is for sure. If you want some meat and don’t want to spend more than $ 10, get the road kill. I order it with the onions/mushrooms addition. Their steak kabobs are very tasty as well and you get good portions. Also, my wife is a vegetarian(not vegan) and orders the veggie plate(sides) and she loves it because their sides are great.

Cold food and slow service. I have been here more than once and I always thought that the slow service was because of the time of day but today I came in at 5:45 one of very few customers and the server still took almost 15 minutes to take our order then the food took another 30. The server’s excuse was that the food was coming out of the kitchen cold so it was taking a long time. I blame that on the servers standing around and not running the food. I will not be back!!!

Had great food and awesome service, it was a little busy for a Friday night, but our waitress was super attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. The beers were even affordable! Kid friendly atmosphere, we’ll be back!

My husband and I like to come here once in awhile because we do enjoy the food. We were just there earlier and were seated right away. We were placed in a corner where we’ve been placed before, but hardly saw our server. Well, this time — we waited FIFTEEN minutes and nobody came to our table. No introduction. No «I will be right with you.» Nothing. It was very disappointing and frustrating. We saw a couple of servers in our area, but no one bothered to check on us. Not one person. If you’re going to be that busy, at least acknowledge us. We would have understood. You don’t even have to be our server and take our order, but 15 minutes with absolutely nothing is unacceptable.

The ribs and steaks are great! The rolls and cinnamon butter are delicious and with such large portions you’re likely to leave with a to go box.

Service here sucks. We had no bread dishes when we were seated. My ice tea had about 5 ice cubes even though I asked for extra ice. They forgot my mashed tators when the order was brought out. Drinks were not refilled. Food was good but service could’ve been better.

Went on a Saturday afternoon when they had just opened. I had the ribeye medium with sweet potato the and veggies. My aunt ordered from the lunch menu which offered a 6oz sirloin 2 sides for like 10 bucks. The food was good and fresh. The veggies were a little boring because it only consisted of carrots and broccoli. I would have liked to see more variety when I order veggies for a side with my steak. Especially since everyone else in the industry is expanding their menu to more health conscious options. My aunt had her steak well done and still commented it was tender which is a definite plus. Not many can pull that off especially with a sirloin. Drinks– I had two of the sangrias which were good and strong enough for a mid day buzz. I’d definitely recommend. Also the people next to us ordered ribs. And OMG they smelled so amazing. Will be trying those next time.

The food here I think is amazing! Everything I’ve ever ordered has been great. The service is what isn’t all that great. You either get okay service or terrible service nothing better then that. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty cool I like the environment they should really work on their service though. One of my favorite things there is their bread and butter. My husband and son eat bread like there is no tomorrow so we always ask for bread more than once. Last time I went a rude server named Jessica responded with«again?!» After we asked for more bread I thought this was extremely rude you do not respond like that to a customer. It is your job to bring what we ask if you don’t like it try something else.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I was hesitant to go to the restaurant. I was beyond pleasantly surprised. We did the call ahead seating, couldn’t have worked out better. When we arrived, I heard them tell the customer in front of us there was a 20 – 30 minute wait. I expected to wait quite awhile for our table, even with the call ahead. We were seated within 5 – 10 minutes of our arrival. Upon being seated, we were greeted by our waitress, who was very pleasant. She meet our needs without being overbearing. Our drinks were refilled without asking, the appetizer came at the proper time without interfering with main course. The meal was very well prepared to our request. I do understand some of the concerns with the peanut shells and cleanliness. I believe that those patrons eating the peanuts have a responsibility to put the shells in the container provided. So many times you see people throwing them on the floor, I wonder if they would do that in their own home or a friends home. We very much enjoyed our meal and will definitely be going back!

Another one bites the dust. We hadn’t been here for a while because the sanitation was not an «A.» When they got the score up to 90 we tried it again, and had two pretty good experiences. I even got a good martini. Then came last night… Seated at a table with no bread plates(they are normally on the tables), so we couldn’t start on our rolls(which are delicious) until the server came and we asked for plates. When he brought them, he started dusting mine with a cocktail napkin!!! What’s with that? If it’s dirty, TAKEITBACK! So I looked at it, and it did have a bit of food crusted on it. Sent it back. It should never have been brought out and it would seem they need to have a look at their dishwasher. Martini this time was disgusting. Did not even taste like gin — tasted like hair tonic or mouthwash. So I left it and asked for, and I quote, «whatever kind of single malt scotch they have.» Received brown water, basically. *Light* brown water. When we got the ticket I noticed I was charged only $ 3 for it — obviously the bartender did not even know what single malt scotch is. Tater skins were meh or less. Cheese tasted fishy. This isn’t the worst, though. With my steak, I ordered a baked potato *only*(I was entitled to two sides), with the request that it be super-loaded.(I’d ordered their $ 0.99 extra«load» before and gotten only the amount of sour cream, etc, that is usual on a baked potato — apparently if you order just the baked potato you receive it bare. Why can’t they just say that a baked potato as a side is an extra charge, as most places do?) You’d think I’d get my baked potato with extra«stuff» at no extra charge, since I ordered only one side. Nope. Not only did they charge me the $ 0.99, they charged it *twice*. And for the second $ 0.99 charge they didn’t bring me a second portion of everything(sour cream, butter, cheese, bacon bits, green onion) — they brought me a tiny salad dressing cup with just bacon bits and cheese. This, by the way, is when I found out that the fishy taste on the tater skins was coming from the cheese — what they brought me in that cup was almost inedible. Speaking of green onions, I didn’t get them because the server asked if I wanted«onions,» which caused me to picture regular ones. If he’d said«green onions,» of course I would have said«yes.» And, general observation, what in the heck ever happened to the proper thing, chives? Did they get too expensive? The steak tasted OK, but I’m pretty sure it had been tenderized to a fare-thee-well — not the texture I’d expect for a steak ordered medium rare. Then when the check was brought, the folder was *wet*. WET! How does that happen? How does the server not notice and dry it off? Random observation — they need to wipe their menus much more often — they were pretty sticky. It will never matter to me again, though — this place is off my list. Or at least until I get desperate again and go in the forlorn hope that they might have improved. Thinking back, I never had the problems with restaurants in San Diego that I do here. There was an occasional clunker, but all the clunkers I can recall were newly opened places that closed quickly. The ones that had been open a long time were consistently good, even the Coco’s down on the corner. Unless I’m just incredibly unlucky, restaurants in the Houston area can be both horrible or inconsistent and in business for a long time. I really don’t understand why people put up with what they apparently put up with around here.

Got the ½ oven roasted chicken to go with side of mushrooms and green beans. Service was decent considering I didn’t dine-in. I phoned it in and when I arrived it was hot and ready. The waitress went over my order with me to ensure I received what I ordered. It came with 2 delicious sweet rolls with cinnamon butter. The chicken was tasty and cooked perfectly. The green beans and mushrooms were also pretty good and doesn’t look or taste frozen or canned. The mushrooms slices were thick and not over cooked. The green beans had real bacon pieces in it. All this for under $ 10! I’ll be back to try their steaks.

I went to this location over the weekend to celebrate my aunt’s birthday. It was the first time I had ever been to a Texas Roadhouse. It was about 2 in afternoon and I was immediately put off by the crowdedness, the noise, and the dancing waitresses. But those are just my personal preferences. As for the food, it was fairly decent. The rolls and cinnamon butter we good, but not as good as people made them seem. The bucket of peanuts on the table is interesting and at least felt like something healthy to snack on while we waited for our food. We had fried pickles for an appetizer and they were pretty standard(by which I mean they were amazing because fried pickles are always amazing). For my entrée I ordered the grilled salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes. I thought the salmon was very delicious. The sides were ok. They forgot my green beans and it took them a long time to bring them out, so that was slightly annoying. I will say that I was very impressed with the waitstaff. Our party was large and a little crazy and our main server handled it so well. I don’t remember his name, but he was very patient, kind, and accomodating. He never seemed flustered or annoyed, which is saying something because I was kind of annoyed and it’s my family. Ha. All in all, I’m not dying to go back to a Texas Roadhouse, but it was decent enough.

The Road Kill smothered in jack cheese and mushroom covered in brown gravy was excellent! The first time(which was quite some time ago) I had it without the gravy, it was dry, bland in the taste, and just not good at all. But, this time just last night I gave it a second try with gravy over the beef patty, Wow! it was really good! The boyfriend’s 16 oz. ribeye steak was huge and tasty. Cup of Chili was excellent as always, and so were the complimentary dinner rolls. However, pork chop was too salty, per Dad’s comment, and Mom’s sirloin steak was totally overdone, which was not pretty. Service was friendly, prompt and accommodating.
