Mr Seafood

I came here on my late lunch break. I decided to dine in and order the 2 piece catfish. The inside is ok. They had a good movie playing in their TV. My food came out and the first thing I noticed was that they placed my fish in the plate right out of the oil. Oil was all over my plate. Second thing after tasting the fish I am sure it wasn’t catfish. I grew up eating catfish in East Texas and I know catfish. This wasn’t catfish. It wasn’t bad or either I was hungry. I only ate one piece though. The batter on the fish wasn’t right. It didn’t stick to the fish. The batter slid right off the fish. I will be going back to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke though because I had heard good things about the place.

I went there for lunch to go. I heard that the food was good. No. No. No. I ordered fried fish the batter was coming off and the fish was (I don’t have any adjectives to describe it) but to say it was BAD. I won’t go back.

Mr. Seafood is in my top 3 favorite places, and might even be number 1. Sadly I don’t venture the menu very much and usually only order the chicken nuggets and fried rice. Both are really great. My husband and I travel 45 minutes just to eat here. The atmosphere doesn’t bother me but it’s a hole on the wall sort of place. The parking is limited and there is no waiters. You buy your food, sit down, eat and throw your trash away. Not fancy in any way. But definitely great seafood.

I had the house fried rice and egg rolls. The food was fresh but I wish the food tasted as good as it looks.

Sadly, somthing happened, had lunch here today and it was terrible! Will. not eat here again! The catfish tasted like cod. Very disappointed.

Best fried catfish in Richmond Rosenberg area. Wish they had homemade tartar sauce. Setting there is not that nice but if your just looking for good fried fish it’s good.

Mr. Seafood is one of my favorite places in town. Kind of a sore eye, but the food is excellent! Great take out night choice.

First time eating there was i ordered Catfish was so huge in 3 layers i couldn’t finish it all in one setting or place .I have been in Rosenberg all my life pass by the place all the time until recently i started to eat new resturants to me and try out to support local businesses and business owners locally.

I have only ordered food to take out from here and its been great everytime. Prices are worth the product. Parking sucks though

Decent gumbo, but atmosphere is drab. Parking sucks and you must pay for refills on small glasses.
