I most certainly will never patronize this establishment ever again. I just witnessed a terrifying display of anger from the older gentleman who appears to be the owner or head cook. Full disclosure, I do not know what precipitated this outburst. While waiting for my order I heard one young lady crying followed by a loud outburst from the gentleman as he screamed at 1 waitress to «get the f*** out» and«I never want to see your f****** face in here again ever.» He drove her out of the kitchen shaking his fist and I saw her go into a back room and retrieve her bags. As she exited the restaurant he picked up something heavy, brandished it at her and smashed it on the food prep surface. All of this was in full view of the customers, myself included. I honestly wanted to go cancel my order and get a refund but the older gentleman was standing right there and I was actually a bit scared of him. I’m giving the place one star because the food wasn’t bad and it was cooked to order. However I refuse to do business or recommend a place where out of control behavior like this is condoned. It was quite unnerving to witness and I’m very glad I got out of there.

Great pizza. The Philly cheese steak sandwiches are as big as your arm. They have a few good craft beers on tap.

Was in the mood for gyro’s and was told to check this place out. I liked the atmosphere as it was quiet and fit the neighborhood pizzeria, however I didn’t come for the pizza today. The gyro meat didn’t really taste fresh. Wife wants to go back to try the huge pizza, so maybe I will give it another go with pizza.

I’ve ordered the cheese steaks from here 4 times for delivery. The food arrived fast and hot. The best outside of Philadelphia and the best if the Twin Cities.

This is my favorite pizza place ever! They are family run, so they really rely on local customers, which is why they go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience! They added on a few years ago and now have extra seating and a full bar. The menu is still the same thiugh, and it’s ALL good and large portions. They even have a food challenge with an extra large Philly steak sandwich and 2 pounds of fries! Good luck with that. The pizza is of course the best part. Extra cheese layered on top with a crispy crust and always hot out of the oven. It’s totally worth blistering the top of your mouth for ;) I am a frequent here and even after moving will continue to drive down now and then for the perfect pizza!

Have been here three times now, and my wife and I love the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Owner is a great guy with a delightful sense of humor. Service has always been excellent! Will try gyro next time.

My family ordered from here for the first time this evening. I had the Works Philly cheese sandwich and it was delicious! My husband had the Italian sausage sandwich and he said it was also really good and my daughters both had the hot ham and cheese on garlic bread. All of the sandwiches were very good. We also ordered the onion rings and they were okay, nothing to write home about. Also, when we ordered, we were told someone would call right back to confirm the order and take our credit card info. 15 minutes later we called back because we hadn’t been called. They put us on hold twice and then apologized and said someone would call shortly. It was another couple of minutes but they finally did call back and the delivery was pretty quick.

I was craving a Philly cheesesteak after going to three different places we were left frustrated because they were closed. I am happy that happened because this Philly cheesesteak was the best I’ve had. We will definitely be back! New favorite in Rosemount for sure! Friendly staff also

It had been a number of years since I visited T.O.P.S. and my experience was terrible. The only one at fault is the person purchasing the beef. I was excited to try the cheese steak, yet found it inedible. Every one of my four bites was tainted with gristle. The two employees were friendly and prompt(clearly not their fault that the food was disgusting). NEVER going back.

Ive ate here probably over 50 times. This is a great place to eat. Here’s a tip try the number 17 pizza cheese steak. Everybody there is super friendly and the food is great. The gyro and Greek salad is also exceptional. Everything’s a little bit pricey but I think well worth it.

This is the first time my wife and I have dined in here, though we have picked up a to go order before which was a mediocre experience. But, the wife had a craving for a gyro and there are not a lot of option in Rosemount for gyros. So off we went. The wife ordered the gyro and I ordered the hulu burger. The gyro was ok at best. The meat was cut fairly thick, and inconsistent. The tzatziki sauce was laid on really too thick. The pita bread was good and the fries were done perfectly. Overall it was a miss though. The hulu burger was a mistake on my part. The hamburger patty was decent, well cooked and seasoned. However, the bottom of the bun was so soggy and the canned bits of pineapple were a disappointment. This should have had a thick, grilled slice of pineapple on it instead of canned bits that fall out of the burger. Oh well. And the side salad was really sad. Lettuce was brown and wilting and the dressing came in a plastic pouch instead of a ramekin. The actual space has a split personality. It looks like they recently expanded or renovated half of the restaurant, leaving the other half looking sad and outdated. Honestly, the meal could have been a lot better if there was a little more attention to detail. I do have to say that our waitress was great and very attentive, and that may be the reason we go back someday.

Rosemountphilly’s Back Again Just cooling on Dodd Blvd. lies a restaurant called T.O.P.S. Restaurant and Bar that is live and direct from Philly town thanks to a family who immigrated from Greece, through Philly and ultimately ending up right here in Minnesota. So, when it comes to food, What is Philly known for the most? You guessed it, Philly Steak Sandwiches! It’s long over due, but now Rosemount is slammin’ thanks to Boys II Men and I bet they would appreciate the Philly Steaks being served at this, once little hole-in-the-wall. Today and 20 years later, T.O.P.S. Restaurant has expanded it’s store front with a full service bar, brought on son Steven and his wife Joelle and providing Rosemount with some outstanding food. In fact, as the story goes(found on their own website), Owner Markos had a dream, but could dreams just fade away? Are you singing the whole song yet? Markos opened his doors in 1990 and on day one, not one person showed up. He said he would close the doors and try a new city to start his dream in if no one was to show the next day. A man walked in to order a pop for 40 cents and he has stayed open ever since. I guess we can thank that mystery man that allowed Markos’ dream to come true… Okay, okay… I’ll stop rapping BIIM and talk about some delicious food. My wife and I just moved to Rosemount and looking to try the restaurants in town. After ordering a mediocre pizza on a random Sunday for football, I was on the hunt for something better. T.O.P.S. popped up in my search and after browsing their site, the pictures alone were making my mouth water. Pizza, Hoagies, Gyro’s and you guessed it, Philly Steak Sandwiches. I looked to my wife and said, «We must go!» I had just one thing on my mind for our first visit and that was to order the Philly. #14 it was! Their original Philly classic; bread, finely sliced and chopped steak seasoned to perfection, fried onions and cheese. One bite in and I was absolutely happy! By the way… While I’m writing this, I’m enjoying my leftovers… You might be thinking, if a sandwich is so good, how was there any leftovers??? Well, there were two options to choose from; half or whole. In other words, 9″ or 18″ respectfully and I for some reason in the heat of ordering said whole and completely forgetting about the actually sizes. My wife went with my exact sandwich, but with pepperoni added to it or also known as the #16. It gave it a nice spicy flavor and still one of the best Philly’s I’ve ever had. Seriously… You’re wasting your time eating at some chain restaurant that serves what they think is a Philly Steak Sandwich. You’re just eating some crappy roast beef that looks like the roast beef at your family Christmas potluck sitting in the crock pot water all day… STOP! Get to T.O.P.S. Check out the Philly rankings to see where T.O.P.S. ranks at On The Streets Of Philasota! Their Philly’s aren’t the only thing that was good though… My parents came with on this trip and my mom decided to order a Gyro. The family is from Greece, so of course they’re going to have Gryo’s on the menu and we’re glad they did. They’re Gryo’s were outstanding and by far better than a number of places around the Twin Cities who claim to be serving superior Gyro’s, but they’re just not like T.O.P.S. You may be thinking, it’s just lamb, but it’s all about the seasoning and quality of lamb and T.O.P.S. is doing it right! As I mentioned earlier, my wife and I were searching for a pizza in town after ordering a mediocre one from a place called Bella’s and not wanting to order from Pizza Hut or Carbones which is far too greasy. By photos alone on the T.O.P.S. website, the pizza looks amazing. It’s definitely going to be a must try on my list and I hope it’s as amazing as their other cuisine because when I’m in the mood for a good zza’ I have to have a place in town to order from and so far, there’s nothing! This east coast family never skipped a beat and is doing an outstanding job. We got the opportunity to meet Steven, Markos’ son and share some of our remarks that night with him. A really nice guy who said he used to play in the yard which is now the new bar expansion. My wife and I even decided that this is going to be our go to place for a quick«cold one». If you live in the south metro area, T.O.P.S. is a must add to your repeat customers list!

They are always excited to see you, and we can always get a table. There are 2 – 3 meals with every large sandwich, which makes it easy on the wallet! Super good and fast, and I for one love the sauce. Good family environment, highly recommended!

Really unimpressed with the pizza. It is the night before thanksgiving, and while I am making a bunch if sides a day early, did not feel like making dinner! Ordered the TOPPS special pizza for pick up and it was ready to go in 15 minutes just like they said Hubby brought it home and we all attacked while it was hot and fresh. Crust looked amazing but the cheese and toppings looked like it could have been cooked a little longer. Got our plates and the first couple bites down, hubby and I commented at the same time that the cheese tasted funny? A couple minutes later my 7 year old commented the cheese tasted funny… he hadn’t heard us say it so it was 3 for 3. Pizza was edible, not the worst pizza we have ever had. but not the best either. Mushrooms were from a can, sausage was good, beef had kind of a strange texture to it. Cheese had a strange taste to it, which I am thinking is from not being baked long enough. I think if they had baked it longer it would have been 4 stars. We are in desperate need of a great pizza place and not a chain around here!!! Guess we will be sticking with Papa Murphy’s.

Let me first start off by saying that the owner’s and their son are delightful people to deal with. The son especially has an eye towards providing you with a quality experience each time you come here. Now, onto the food and service… Gyro — Nothing to write home about. Everything in the gyro was old/had been sitting too long. Lamb, like any other meat, hardens on the outside when it’s been sitting too long. We lucked out though, because it was still just moist enough to be edible. We ordered this around 9pm on a week night. It was moderately busy, but if anything they were overstaffed for the evening. Zeus Burger — Same problem as with the gyro. The problems here were more apparent because the Zeus burger is essentially lamb and a burger bun. Spaghetti and Meatballs — Sauce from a can! And bland sauce at that. So much potential here, but its very clear that they are using the pizza sauce here and in this format, the sauce comes off as bland. Meatballs were ok, nothing to write home about. Meatball Sub — Disappointing. This sub was difficult to eat due to the size of the meatballs and was drenched in pizza sauce, to the point where it became a nuisance. I’ll go back because the options in Rosemount are limited. The good here has so much potential, but suffers from lack of freshness and a lack of bolder flavors.

A ordered take out for here at lunch. This is a family run business and the when you come in they really treat you like family, very pleasant people. I got the TOPS pizza with Double cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, beef, green peppers, onions, and sausage but I had them hold the peppers. The pizza had a very good, unique flavor. The pie wasn’t smothered with pizza sauce, it had enough to just barely taste it, something that I enjoyed in this instance. The pizza ingredients worked very well together bur the beef was a little different than I’m used to. The beef was ground very fine, almost pulverized. That gave the pizza a very different texture that some might not enjoy as much as beef chunks on the pizza. Will I be back? Sure, it’s right down the street from where I work :)

Grew up loving this place. Stopped there since I was in rosemount(doesn’t happen much). Ordered Philly cheese steak with mushrooms and pepperoni. Tasted great, but for the price I expected mushrooms that weren’t out of the can. Otherwise wouldve been 5 stars easy.
